Haha, I just couldn't stop laughing when yoshino was like "I think he broke something fairly important" then just falls on the couch. And wow, hanemura is really strong now.

I died. That part was way too funny! Daaamnnn, so sad this anime is coming to an end! D:

Wow, these guys just take everything in stride when I expect them to do the opposite. Especially Mahiro, I thought he'd flip shit and go BSOD because he's now lost his reason for continuing to live.

Hanemura flipped apeshit. Holy crap. Sure, they do seem easily accept Aika's death, but that is not his place to butt in. Funny how Mahiro completely turned the tables on him though.

Mahiro seriously changed so quickly. Geezus. Revenge-->Save the world in a couple minutes of discussion. Although it sounds like it might end in a tragedy by the way the discussion at the end was leading to...

Aika flashbacks were great, more light shed on her past is always a bonus.

At least Hakaze wasn't that annoying in this episode, but that's just me.

5/5

Despite some sophistry, the great maturity and unpredictability shown by the characters, the narrative make it enjoyable episode that shows in a different light even the Wizard of Zetsuen! XD
Plot a little too played on the dialogues, I wanted something more. Drawings and animations still nice and clean. Despite the monotony, I felt a certain pathos!
Final score 5/5 I think it's the right one, give it 4/5 would be unfair.

I really don't get why it seems to think that Mahiro and Yoshino are doing so much at this point . . . I mean Samon mentioned that it was really the only option, so it isn't like it was some "out of the box" epic plan. So what exactly makes them the key? Just because they are the main characters and it has to revolve around them? =/

Really great "reel it in" episode. After such a eventful last two episode, we are back into the present and seeing Hanemura react that way was pretty badass. He should keep this mindset for the battle to come.

This is why Mahiro is my favorite character of the series, and Yoshino is slowly growing on me. Hanemura was pretty freakin cool too.

More and more I feel like Mahiro is like my twin or something in terms of personality. Two more episodes to go. Hanemura is nice and all but I dislike him for some reason.

Aside from the ridiculously pretentious Hamlet quotes (seriously, I feel like Im browsing /r/atheism) the shows been pretty good thus far.

I cant say that Ive really been enjoying it, but its hood enough to make me marathon it, so good job whoever the fuck made this

At first I thought he was going to be pissed because thanks to Aika, the burden is passed down on to him. It was a great scene to show that Hanemura really cares about them although he definitely overdid it...

That dinner scene where Yoshino, Mahiro and Aika first met felt so nice, really emphasized how great of a relationship the three of them. (ignoring the secret dating)

Episode was a pretty good hype episode. The bonds were strengthened in this episode.

Oh yeah, I wanna know the contents of that letter!

Holy shit I didn't expect this reaction of Hanemura. He was so pissed off about Yoshino and Mahiro. But I think it was good for them to realise that it's okay to show emotions sometimes.

I don't know if it's weird but I like Aika more as in the beginning. Especially like some people here mentioned the restaurante scene was cute.

Hmm the preview of the next episode doesn't sound/look good, I hope nothing to tragic will happen :-/

Got to say Yoshino better be hiding his feelings like he has been this whole series, otherwise I am seriously not going to buy his calm demeanor after showing Hazake the turmoil that was under the surface earlier in the show. Not even a twitch of the eyes or some kind of show of emotion in private... really bugs me. Aika's brother I can understand, I truly believe he is all about what is "logical" but not Yoshino... well I suppose I can't expect perfection in anything, and unless something is revealed in these last eps I can't see it as anything but a flaw.

WHat the... Megumi totally went gangster in this episode .I am quite surprised as it is.... It seems when all things are solved ..we are finally coming to a conclusion......

On the side note the boys are pretty selfish everything till now is done for Aika and now the final battle is because of Aika

"Then again, it might be for the better to have amusing people around me, because any tragedy may seem like a comedy, as long as I am with them."

It really hit home when Aika said that at the end. Oh this anime eludes us talking about Tempest to go with an alternative Hamlet!
I suppose a middle ground between Hamlet and Tempest would be the more realistic outcome.
Still it is frustating that Aika destiny couldnt be changed, doing the time travel just to reveal what happened and fuel the despair of being powerless to change it, that mangaka really is a fickle being!

Could understand Hanemura getting triggered over them being calm but was really needed because they are already wierd ppl in the first place. Was funny how Yoshino broke something important and fainted lel causing small panic. I hope the plan goes well for all of themt to destroy ToG.

I on the other hand couldn't comprehend at all why Hanemura got so mad at them. he doesn't even know much about them and their relationship to aika. he doesn't know aika in the first place. yet he freaks out about it. also it was way too out-of-character. him getting triggered because of that situation got me triggered for bad character development. presenting him as a wimpy crybaby this entire time and all of a sudden he snaps because of a stupid reason. it really bugged me.

I actually didn't like how Hanemura shouted at Mahiro and Yoshino, but it made me realize that it actually showed their humanistic side by being strong and matured despite of what they are going through.

Also, I love how they added a little bit of humor after the serious atmosphere had occured.

"I think he broke something fairly important" loooooool.

Hanemura is going to save the world but, what about the rest?

They really came into terms with the truth quite easily, or atleast that's how it looked like until Hanemura did the table flip lol. That guy's a total weirdo, but somehow I've learnt to bear with him.

Now this seems like a straight cause of destroying the pillar and in turn the tree of geneis too from here on.. and we once thought it'd be something along the lines of fulfilling one's revenge. How the times have changed lol.

I really hope the anime also shows what happens to the tree of Exodus because if it just becomes passive after Genesis is defeated I'm calling bs, since Exodus is originally supposed to destroy the world.

Hanemura projecting his emotional instability onto Yoshino and Mahiro by attacking them unprovoked and causing severe injuries in the process is not justifiable. Not even entirely sure where this aspect of Hanemura's character was established. It's none of his business that they handled the truth behind Aika's death with some maturity. No wonder that scene couldn't decide if it wanted to be comedic, serious, or even relevant to their characterisation at all.

typically shonen when dude loses his sh-- by spewing a load of impassioned cathartic immature nothingness and beating up civilians (that punch must've ruptured Yoshino's liver or something, it looked darn painful) and that worked out predictably, gave them closure and brought the team back on its feet (cuz what else?)

geez that guy's such a clown (perhaps the creators r) and they decided to give the biggest gun to the team monkey

I think Aika still hasn't had enough time to grow on me despite the creators' best efforts; she's still no more than a plot device and a throw-away character for me

I dunno if the next 2 episodes will be necessary... they simply cd've ended it here by skipping the ED lmao
