| Well, that was an episode. Moon Fairy Dancer Jinshi ended up being just regular Jinshi with lipstick lol. How come the Envoys found him more alluring than any of the other court ladies and concubines? Only author knows. Second half of the episode was definitely more interesting. Huh?... So Xiaomao making medicines was supposed to be a secret? Really? Because I'm pretty sure even the Emperor is aware of it. But anyways, who cares about all that? What's important here is that Xiaolan is finally attending school! (*￣3￣)╭ |

| Hah, Shisui irritating Maomao with a cage full of moths, though insects like it might just help her assemble something for the Moon Fairy festival, though the political and romantic offerings from the envoys sure reek that of cringeworthy towards the ladies-in-waiting, not to mention Maomao. And Jinshi being the Moon Fairy is quite the provocation to put the final touches to the costume (which attracts male moths), making the dance (and the scene) look more appealing. At least give him a patdown for his efforts, Maomao. That said, the affiliations of the Emperor's 4 concubines, plus with all the mysteries that haven't been solved up till this point, it's just putting Maomao on airs as to how everything is seemingly connected. That said, one of the ladies-in-waiting getting sick for Maomao to accompany her to the clinic where the older ladies are, it's certainly night and day as to where the allocation of servants are. Though her coinciding with Jinshi and praying for his dick (at the time the Emperor banned the surgery on eunuchs) is sure funny xD Maomao being another area of the Inner Palace will get her into trouble, just for making medicine. |

| I'm a bit confused about the whole medicine making thing that is apparently a secret and not allowed for Maomao/women in the series. How is this possible? Didn't the emperor himself order Maomao to care for Lihua when she was ill in S1? Also, if I recall correctly in S1 ep3 (and ep5), Maomao directly indicated that the quack doctor lets Maomao make medicine there and sometimes even ask her directly, as well as other things like making the aphrodisiac...In this episode obviously as well, Gyokuyou and her court ladies know and don't react oddly or with any hesitation when she suggested making medicine for the court lady's cold... It's one thing for someone like Jinhsi to overlook Maomao, but it seems like pretty much everyone who has interacted with Maomao already knows about this and are overlooking it, which seems really weird since wouldn't they get in serious trouble for helping keep such an open secret? I mean, even Maomao herself didn't realize it was a secret until this episode! What a bizarre way to "keep" a secret... Also, wasn't that Suirei girl also dabbling in medicine? |
