| Very solid season! Going for a 9/10 overall while my only complaint is a few backstories dragging on. This got a s2 announced so that is awesome! |

| No idea how they will eat the red dragon out of Falin without also eating Falin This was a pretty fun and creative show. I dont feel I enjoyed it as much as some others did unfortunately. Im glad it will get another season if im around to watch it. |

| And I thought we'd left the cannibalism subplot behind... Although I guess if it's red dragon meat, maybe it doesn't count. Knave_ said: Izutsumi comforting Marcille was so cute! Izutsumi's awkwardness here feels kindof relatable.  This episode feels mostly like cooling down after the big confrontation with the griffin/hippogriff. Last things they make are dumplings and tea... Was there some cultural thing about taking the opportunity to chat while the tea heats up? Or was it while the tea cools down? |
| Enjoyed it more than expected. Just like with the manga, the beginning was a bit too boring and considered dropping it, but the second half was very good (after Falin resurrection). Can't wait to find out more about the dungeon in S2! Have the same curiosity as with "Made in abyss". |
| When fans of source material say "it gets better", for once i agree this time lol. Also found it boring early episodes but it definitely got better and fun as it progress. When they brought up the prophecy thing and looked at the remaining episodes, i'm thinking there's no way they'll leave anime-onlys hanging. Thank god they are making a sequel and seems like will adapt the whole manga as i don't really see myself reading the rest but at the same time i wanna see how it ends heh |

| What a journey! For me, it’s a potential best anime of the year. I'm thrilled that the second season has already been announced. Was it expected? Yes, but having the confirmation is always great. |

| I'm glad that season 2 was announced right after season 1 ended since this ended with the group still trying to rescue Falin. Going into this series I thought Falin would've been rescued around halfway through this season which she kind of was but I didn't expect her to leave the group right away. I liked the cooking aspect which reminded me of "Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill" but I thought that this got a bit repetitive with the seemingly neverending goal to re-rescue Falin. At least the animation was great and Izutsumi added a unique personality to the group. I give this a 7/10 and I'm optimistic that I'll enjoy season 2 more. |

| This last episode was a blast. The first half was still full of comedic hijinxs due to the cast swapping different races, but at least they're able to use the changelings to thwart the enemy gargoyles and also change themselves back to normal. I won't denty, I will miss sexy elf Senshi. XD The latter half, onboard the moving trolley car, had more insight into Laios and his reasons for leaving home, which I can't blame him at all for doing so. Still their talk about how to change Falin back to normal was complex, but knowing these guys and the connections that they have, this plan might actually work. It will have obstacles to deal with, of course, but I'm sure that they'll conquer them and succeed in getting Falin back to normal. Overall, I really enjoyed Delicious in Dungeon a lot. It was a slow start, but it kept up a strong pace and the world building was simply great. Trigger's production quality was very good and consistent all throughout the whole 24 episodes. I highly look forward to the recently announced second season and see where this story will go next. =) |
| That was an excellent finale episode. Hilarious, heartful, weird and keeps us wanting more. They are going to consume Falin or at least the dragon parts. Got to admit that's very weird but the way the explained it makes a lot of sense. One of the best winter and spring animes to come out this year. The animation from trigger was on point especially this episode. Can't wait for season 2 I hope trigger is producing it again. |

Laios talking about what the best menu for Falin Dragon body part, this man Laios is something else LMAO Overall what a journey we have been through for half a year, the world building is crazy, the Animation and the direction was done so well. Thank You Studio Trigger!! Ohh Dungeon Meshi, Dungeon Meshi. See you again in Season 2. 8/10 |

| Ahah, they're back to their initial race, now they have hopes to save Falin but they'll need help from everyone, great conclusion, I can't wait for S2, this anime was wonderful overall on absolutely every points, amazing animation, great characters, engaging story, very good OST, emotional and also funny, this is almost perfect. |

| Started off boring and then gradually turned into something really amazing. For a show heavily involved in cooking, the meals, even though they looked like real food as a end result. Didn't give me the same effect of "wow mouth watering" since we know where they came from. While it has its moments I feel like it was less floopy? than some of the other trigger animations I've seen. Either or. Great show can't wait for s2 |
