| licking the nose was fucking disgusting. i can see she really adores pochita but that was just disgusting. was worth it to wait for the uncensored version. there was no point in watching this episode censored as the major focus of this episode was inukai bathing and if you don't watch it uncensored then there's no point. i think we won't be getting any explanationa as to how he turned into dog. whether he died in his human form or anything. surprised to see it's score so low. i mean it delivered what it said, no idea what people aren't liking in this. |

| Pochita?? No shot... All things considered, it actually got kind of wholesome and heart-warming toward the end there. The bathtub scene was weird though, why was she animated like she was totally spazzing out- before proceeding to suck on a dog's nose. Maybe I just don't understand art I guess Anyway, looking forward to a lot of very nice camera angles; which will actually make sense since it's, well, from a dog's POV. Also if there is an uncensored version out, I haven't found it. Guess we'll just have to enjoy a lot of puppy paw stickers for now. |

| Review: Just watched the first episode of, My life as Inukai-san’s dog and as the title implies, this is indeed peak fiction. It’s taken humanity many centuries, but we’ve finally managed to reach the apex of human ingenuity and talent. This episode was so immersive that despite being only 12 minutes, it easily felt like a regular 24 minute episode. Honestly the longest 12 minutes of my life, but in a very good way. The mc finally realising that he was a dog was executed so well that it genuinely had me in tears over how impeccable the writing was, it’s definitely wasn’t plainly obvious and easily deductible, no no no. This was something truely masterclass, easily rivalling and surpassing any literature goat. But enough about the story, the character designs are simply stunning, clearly methodically planned and thought out to the highest degree, with the girls being absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. Studio quad really raised the bar with this one, now every anime girl pales in comparison to Inukai. God wished she was his magnum opus. Finally the twist at the end of the episode was deeply moving, revealing that this whole show was a prequel to chainsaw man after all, albeit way better. Literally the fate/zero of the anime fate series, aka the only thing worth watching. |
