oh, another question. For 63 -> Watch an anime that was recently reviewed, they mean actual reviews, not recommendations (like on the front page) right? If so, is there a way to search the newest reviews?

36. There is no filter for that, i would just watch those animes that are still airing because it is not completed (=0 < PTW counts)

You guys.... #36. Watch a completed anime with more user in "Plan-to-Watch" than "Completed" - state the members it had when you started....
it has to be a completed anime obviously, it can't be airings one unless you start it once it finish airing (if it has valid stats) and take a screenshot showing your stats/username as evidence, just in case once you turn-in your challenge it's not valid anymore

I've got another question / problem.... does anyone know an Anime that "began airing between 1917 and 1959"?
I found some Animes, but I can't find a Stream of any of them.... and I'm NOT going to watch anything illegal :-/

So I have a few questions and requests:

For Challenge #40 - Watch an anime with at least one child as MC:
Does Gunslinger Girl count, I've roamed some forums and I've seen a lot of people say that most of the characters are 12 or younger.
For example, this site Absolute Anime states that Henrietta is 10 years old. - In fact it says all the other main girls are 12 years old.

For Challenge #42 - Watch an anime with a human main character that is not Japanese:
Does it matter if the setting is based on fiction and not real places, would that automatically make them not Japanese?
For example: Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis is located in "Mistarcia" from what I've read, would that make them "Mistarcian" and not Japanese?

For Challenge #43 - Watch an anime with a main character that is a professional in his field:
I've got 3 anime I'd like a confirmation for to see if they are considered "professionals".
Darker than Black has a character called Kirihara, Misaki and she is described as a "The Section-Chief of the Foreign Affairs Section 4".
Ryuu no Haisha has a character called Kishii, Nonoko and is seen as a dentist in this show.
Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis has bounty hunters and Lidfard, Kaisar has the following comment on his page: "A noble by birth, Kaisar, is obliged to make his living as a bounty hunter".

Would someone be as kind as to pick any anime from my Plan to Watch list or maybe recommend me a new one that I might like based on my favourites and highly rated anime? (Preferably not longer than 26 episodes)

Does it have to be for this challenge, so I'd have to watch a show that someone else has watched for challenge #60 ... OR ... is it for the entire Anime Watching Challenge, so I can pick basically whatever show?

As for #60 you can use any anime used by someone else to complete any challenge.

You are going to have a hard time finding them for legal streaming. As for titles around those date you can find some on YouTube.
There's also this https://myanimelist.net/anime/6654/Namakura_Gatana shared here. I think that one's legal and they have a version of their site in English.

@SheyCroix for 36. i chose one that has currently more PTW than completed, I didn't go with that method, so I'm all good

@Shaene I had the same problem and someone, I think it was SheyCroix, told me to watch 2 or 3 episodes from an anime, list it as dropped or on hold and end watching it 2 or 3 months later. Anyway wait for someone to confirm it

Start a new anime, watch about 2-3 episodes, leave it there without watching for 3 months and then finish it.

Kyoto Animation. Aside from OVA "Shiawasette Naani" all are commercials... I guess these don't count (Also don't fit the factor of SSS challange).

My question is, can I pick up the lowest scored full series on this one? Can I exclude all specials, commercials, ova's in this list?

Unless you will complete the challenge with the TV type restriction you can't skip them. You have to watch one of those lowest rated.

Thanks for the answer. Though, I'm still confused. I mean, a 30 sec long commercial... can I really count that as watched an anime? Also it seems that I can skip all the specials/ova's of the series I still haven't seen.

KyAni is making me confused, maybe I should use another studio (sweatdrop)

Well, apparently it seems it is lol Yeah, you can try changing the studio.... you could also just watch the lowest scored until the one you want to watch is withing the last 5 not watched...

I think I asked this before, but im having a hard time finding where I did, so I might as well ask again:

Suggest me an anime. I dont care if its on my PTW (Be aware, some of them are on my bingo sheet already) or not. Im currently watch Serial Experiments Lain and will watch Spice and Wolf: Lupus Bugaloo 2 after it. After that, I'll likely go for what is suggested.

Bonus brownie points if you take the time to look at what ive seen and suggest based on that, but as long as you dont suggest crude fanservice/non-monogatari harems, I will be fine with that. (Hint, hint: I just finished Nekomonogatari, and am trying to find a way to shift around my bingo card to fit Monogatari S2)

Bonus brownie points if you take the time to look at what ive seen and suggest based on that, but as long as you dont suggest crude fanservice/non-monogatari harems, I will be fine with that. (Hint, hint: I just finished Nekomonogatari, and am trying to find a way to shift around my bingo card to fit Monogatari S2)

Ikoku Meiro no Croisée, can be used for #42, right?
Judging from the description it looks like a definite yes, but just making sure

Same with Kobayash san Chi no Maid Dragoni for #41, its good, yes?

Also Alice to Zouroku for #43, Zouroku=professional florist. Is it ok?

#41: Watch an anime with a main character that doesn't look human
#42: Watch an anime with a human main character that is not Japanese
#43: Watch an anime with a main character that is a professional in their field
