| I guess this is one of the deeper ends of anime LOL. The music choice was perfect. I was laughing through the whole thing, because everything was so exaggerated. And to top it all off, Tsukihi walked in on them π Nisio Isin probably had a blast writing this. We also got a new OP! Ranai Circulation was pretty good, but Platinum Disco is my favorite OP so far :) |
| I hate fan-service. I really do. BUT THIS. This is like an evolved form. What did I just watch? What did I just enjoy? Love me some phallic imagery and incest lmao Meh, I ship it. I wonder if Gahara would mind her boyfriend making out with his sister using toothbrushing as a pretext. Although it was completely jacked up, I kind of get where the episode was going...we all have them weird situations where we're way too into what or who we're doing and when interrupted we finally understand how weird and awkward the whole thing was. The human ego is a strange little thing. We have inhibitions for a reason XD What really made me roll though was when Karen wanted two more rounds of the "game" and Araragi was all like "hell yeah". They were even gonna take turns oml. Not like they crossed any real lines yet though aside from being too into it. There's a fine line between fantasy and reality, but it's still a line. Basically mind play, he is only brushing her teeth...it's the psychological part; his thoughts, and not the action itself that makes it erotic. Like, anything could be sexual if you make it that way in your head! Music was perfect as well. All that dramatic orchestral stuff had me on the floor. |

Thanks for sharing that. I feel for the people that watch things as they air, especially if they went into this thinking they'd relive some of the things they experienced in Bakemonogatari. I have a feeling as I'm working my way through the Monogatari series that there are certain common elements, but things will shift drastically depending on things the writer and directors want to convey. This isn't a linear story. If you can't appreciate the comedy in what this episode represented (or the fappability) then maybe you need to take a step back and shed some of your expectations. Going into an art gallery expecting an artist to display a bunch of the same piece is kinda dumb. Going into an anime expecting it to be the same as the last is just as bad. BUT, I understand going to a concert and wanting to hear a band play their good songs, and being disappointed when they play some of the new songs they're experimenting with. The difference is, this isn't the same. You can always go back and watch 'that' show. So sit back, un-clench your rectum, and enjoy this shit for pete's sake. |
