| Absolutely stunning animation and Rudeus inner monolog was on point with the magic explanation. I would overall say that this episode was solid intro into the story although they skipped some background about the Mc before the reincarnation it wasn't bad and if you're interested you can read chapter 1 of the manga for clearer understandings of his motivation moving forward in the story. 10/10 |

| Man everyone hyped for the SnK episode today, but this first episode was an absolute masterpiece, my God. It may be the best first isekai episode I’ve ever seen. The visuals, the voice acting, the animation.. it’s simply beautiful. If they do this adaptation justice, it’ll be the best isekai of all time. |

| This pretty much overwhelmed me, great visuals, great characters and even it's 2021 it is giving the OG isekai vibes. MC got hit by Truck-kun and reincarnated in another world (again), a pervy shut-in-NEET that is being voiced bu Sugita Tomakazu is goddamn funny. A world of swords and magic, yeah i say that is generic but seems like many people considered this as one of the OGs of isekai, i can't say that much abt it. I liked the parents they're silly, great voicing pretty genuine. Sensei is a cute loli XD and seems like she will have a good relationship with the MC, glad that next ep i'll get to see more of her. Visuals are stunning, smooth and clean one of the greats this season. This is looking to be an isekai that will focus and go deeper into a charcter not like the other ones. |

| Bro, I was not expecting him to say the phrase "I might cop a feel." People have been wanting this adaption and last season was the first I have heard about it. From the PV, the animation looked dope but this episode was really great. I enjoyed the characters and I love how they provide more to the magic system than others. |

| i got to see roxy, 10/10 no but the art and sound and everything about it so far is really well done so far so if they keep this up, it might turn out to be a great addition or game-changing to isekai adaptations, especially after the story picks up later in the series |

| Wow...what an amazing start. I can talk about ALL of the things that happened in this episode. But what is undeniable is that this has to be one of the greatest first episodes of an anime that I watched. Easily met my expectations and actually surpassed it with its own might. Of course bonus points for making me laugh for all the edgy comedic scenes and lines (OMG did they really just added Rudy's parents having sex, WHAT A FLEX), but everything...just took me away. It has the same promise as Re:Zero but added with the same magical feeling of Majo no Tabitabi, and I just got an anime that I will enjoy for the season. Already the competition is so high for my AOTS. Heck it's not just this, but also Horimiya, Re:Zero 2, Yuru Camp 2 and MORE. But I'm just gonna do it, I rate this 1st episode a 10/10! Why not. |

| At every season we get more and more confirmation....The fantasy genre in anime is dead and gone, all we have now is copy pasted harem isekais one after the other. This one is based in a novel that was one of the first ones to gain notoriety when the isekai wave started picking up , soo it might do some thing or another well if they improved the source material, but i predict it going to absolute shit eventualy like they all do. |

raiderublaze's 666th forum post I repeat...for me this episode is simply perfection. I love Rudy already with his attitude and you know...perverted character. Roxy is really nice (hope they have some hot scenes with Rudy together). And Rudy's parents along with Maid Lilia are nice to have around too. But dear lord, the animation and the amazing art, I AM SEEING A POTENTIAL 2020'S CLASSIC. For a debut work for Studio Bind, it is just mind boggling how they put up a budget for this to be as extensively beautiful than what an anime normally is. From the teaser on the PV to this, it is just pure greatness. I am betting that this will turn out to be a masterpiece series, because I'm not joking that this is truly a 10/10 start for a potential 10/10 anime. I got an amazing entertainment this episode alone and I'm excited for more to come. |

| I'm not a fan of the Mushoku Tensei content that I've read from before but I do like a couple of the ideas at hand, especially considering how the reincarnation business was handled and how we get to see the MC Rudeus grow up from a baby and see his powers and abilities develop overtime, although the side comments at times were pretty cringey as usual by the MC when being extremely horny as hell. It's an isekai that while is really generic, does show some signs of ambition and creativity at times here and there with the journey aspect mainly. The visuals do look extremely good though, I have to say, stellar effort so far with the animation and artstyle and some good camerawork too at times from the little scenes like Rudeus' mom looking for him as he's hiding, to him actually using his magic and seeing the camera pan really nicely to make it feel more grand and epic. The episode did feel oddly quiet though with the lack of music for the most part, so some scenes felt a tad empty or dragged a bit too long without but for the most part, an okay episode. Could have been better if the MC's personality on the inside was a lot better for sure, but considering the content of the first episode alone and not the boring shit that happens later on, this was fine. |
| That was awesome! First of all the visuals are impressive, with beautiful character designs and great animation, the quality that both of the water ball scenes had... wow! Voice acting is also top notch. Sugita voicing the perv MC is perfect, it would honestly have been creepy to see all that from an adult but seeing it from a baby made it hilarious. Hearing his parents having sex is something I didn't expect haha. I guess it makes it more real xD. I already love Roxy, she is so cute! Konomi Kohara fits perfectly. And lol with Rudy getting distracted by her panties. My favorite premiere so far, looking forward to more. |

| Oh god! another shitty absurd fantasy with lot stuff done completely wrong. No female can appear without having a gross fifty year old man in the body of an infant comment on her breasts, likely followed by something regarding her underwear, and probably a summation of which otaku fetish she's supposed to be appealing to. This is on top of the internal narration just never, ever, EVER, shutting the hell up despite there being zero story to speak of. A pervert guy reincarnated as a kid. Immense magical powers. Super genius. Surrounded by boobs. We're not treading bold new ground here that requires seventy thousand words and twenty minutes to explain. And yet, explain we do. Over and over and over. Anyway the production kicks in every now and then, mostly to overanimate casting a spell or a dude flexing. Otherwise, it's fairly nonexistent. The fan service is also excessive and annoying twice his parents start having sex in front of him while he grins like a pervert, which is somehow less obnoxious than it immediately declaring every female a stereotype and then them trying their hardest to live up to the label. There's no comedy here either, and definitely not any dealing with the middle aged man narrating the whole thing through the body of a 0-5 year old. I've seen this episode a dozen times before. at least doesn't have status screens... Yet. |

It seems you had misjudged a lot of stuff in the anime before realizing the context that are present at that moment. There are a lot of thing that will subvert your expectation based on how you presented your view to this anime, one thing that I can assure you, since I have read the series multiple time, there will be no status screen on this anime. |

| This is by far the strongest premiere of the season so far when it comes to the new shows. I loved every second of it. The monologues throughout this episode were gold, the comments he made about his own mum and Roxy were priceless. I respect that. Speaking about Roxy, oh my lord I already love her. A bit biased that she's voiced by Konomi Kohara (and blue hair), but she's adorable and not what I had initially expected as she is Rudy's teacher. Rudy's mum is a bombshell, also what was that grin when she found out he used intermediate magic, she's a keeper! So far I have no complaints, Animation looked really good. Really digging the art as well, it's been a long time since I have been this excited for an Isekai Anime. | I cannot express how much I enjoyed this; seeing this person caught between the mind and ideas of adult and wonder and body of a child is so funny. It was hilarious every time he had a perverted though whilst we visually see him as an adorable little boy, especially when he tried to cope a feel of Zenith's oppai and realised he was a baby 😂 I was really surprised by the animation quality; a lot of Isekai have pretty crappy animation no matter how great their plot & characters are, but the animation was vivid, tidy and especially stunning in the scenes where Rudy started to use magic. |
