Worse yet is The Crawler having to be rescued by him not once, but twice, and then having to "do laundry" because Captain Celebrity kept autographing his favorite All Might hoodie. |

| Someone here said it spot on in saying that Captain Celebrity is like a bootleg All Might. While he spends too much time trying to impress the ladies and being unfaithful to his wife (How she's still married to him, god only knows), at least he's pretty entertaining to watch. His skills when he actually tries is pretty impressive, but he met his match when he tried to hit on Makoto. Thanks to her, C.C. is now doing his best to change his image for the better. Whether that'll truly work in the long run, who knows. The post credit scene was very interesting, as Koichi's mother is visiting and is known to be pretty strict. In typical Koichi fashion, he had to mention that he has a girlfriend when he doesn't actually have one yet, so with both Makoto and Kazuho shown in the preview for next week's episode, I can see it being very entertaining in more ways than one. Plus, it'll mean more scenes of Kazuho blushing, which I find incredibly cute. =) |
| With just a few minutes of screen time I knew I would absolutely despise Captain Celebrity. Also, did you notice that none of local professional heroes even showed up while he was on the scene? |
| I know it's not really feasible for these productions to go all out, but I really appreciate it whenever they try to show as much of diegetic multilingualism as they can (the first episode of Great Pretender is another great example of this, I just wish we could get the same kind of proper immersion in anime that we get in things like all the Dothraki scenes in Game of Thrones. Actually I think Mushoku Tensei might do that, but I think it's the exception). It would be so cool if there could be a cut of this show where whenever Chris is speaking English they use his dub audio. I have to imagine Vigilantes will go down as my favorite superhero anime of all time (the only thing that could for sure dethrone it is if we ever got a Worm anime, and that's never going to happen). I'm just having so much fun with this show and it's making me really happy :) |

| The Japanese sure love mocking the Americans. Captain Celebrity/Catastrophe is like Captain America and a certain orange hued president had a baby. A fracking kaiju? Really? And most of the damage was caused by Captain Sparkle smacking and kicking them onto buildings. They should have made him pay for the damages. |

| I always find it fascinating whenever MHA expands its worldbuilding. Last week we got a brief history lesson about the beginning of hero agencies in the US, now we get to see an American hero moving from America to Japan. I wonder what the process is for moving your agency to another country? I also wonder if there's any kind of power vacuum he left once he fled to Japan? The US is likely filled to the brim with heroes, I'd love to see who were the most powerful before Star entered the scene. If CC was such a problem that he was forced to leave from being unable to find work, but despite how much of a jerk he is, I'm actually looking forward to see what they do narratively with a former top hero from the birthplace of heroes. Especially power balancing-wise. |
| I really liked this episode! It did something the main series seemed too reluctant to do half the time, and that's actually showcasing the ugly side of heroism. |

| This guy has got to be using support items or something, because he's doing a lot more damage than even the "peak" of human strength should be capable of. Which, isn't like it's a mark against him, since support items are a normal thing in this world. I was just surprised when they said his Quirk is Flight then proceeded to show him lifting a yacht out of the water. |

Entertaining episode even though the main plot with Hachisuka is barely progressing as of now. And as for this Captain Celebrity dude, I was honestly expecting him to be a complete jerk but it seems he's just a comedic jerk of sorts. Still want Stain to make him his first Hero victim tho. |

| They can't be getting away with a guy named Captain Celebrity XD that is one of the most bankrupt names you could come up with. And you have Crawler here losing all the facial guards to this dude. If he wasn't a foreigner could have lost the vigilante business right then and there. Stars And Stripes infinitely better, and yet ya know. Wait wait now we have Godzilla in the house? 👀 expected the energy blasts the moment it was walking out and about. Bee girl is so nonchalant about the villain business. Really the one in the crowd casually strolling while everyone else runs. Godzilla let me down 😔 put up 0 fight against the CC. He has endless budget for performance frfr. Put him against All For One and he gets smoked. Have Pop cheer for you, and that's all you need 🫡 When you have a villain that demands an eco friendly getaway car XD |

| Welp, America's top-ranked hero Christopher Skyline a.k.a Captain Celebrity...he is no All Might, that's for sure. As Knuckleduster puts it, Captain "Catastrophe" Celebrity is quite the infamous person to the few who sense his rather laid-back and arrogant attitude who wants to be a show-off to all the media and even has his own variation of a theme song too from his personalized DJ crew. Still, he manages to get the hero job done, but he sure can piss people like Koichi off by having his own priorities first (that gives Pop Step an idea of how to elevate her own content). Of course, Makoto finds herself being at the scene too, though both Koichi and Pop Step have to maintain their own privacy. The Roaring Stallion sure has his own Ladies' Man playboy issues, which inevitably put a stain on his reputation. That said, this IS only one of a handful of times where Makoto, being on a date with Chris, gets the latter sideswiped with her Polygraph Quirk calling his own wife Pamela, and has to initiate interfering a villain's robbery attempt with the backing of her boss, and it's quite the PR stunt lol to regain his sanity. Yelp, Koichi's mother coming to see him, and that leaving the son in total disarray...and the mention of a girlfriend, which girl will he choose though? You get what you get with Captain Infamous, though Koichi's in for a wild ride with his upstanding mother. |

| Gosh, the entire stuff with C.C, Captain Cringe, was so unfunny. He kinda deserves paying those alimony.. Also, of course, Pop is going to play the girlfriend, and we'd have the misunderstandings too with Makoto. |
