| Really impressed with how they adapted the fight between 9 and Reno/Iharu. It was a slow struggle, and it felt like it had weight to it. The animation of Reno coughing up blood was especially impressive. Kafka annihilating Number 9 was satisfying after the build up from Reno and Iharu. But man, does this have some brutal cliffhangers. Can't wait to see how they animate Hoshina going all out. |
| I thought Reno was a goner for a minute there, that is until both Iharu and then Kafka showed up. When Kaiju No. 9 said he now knows how to kill Kafka (No. 8) I think he may be implying that all he needs to do is take a hostage or 2 to have him give up since he protected a couple of guys. |
| This was by far the best episode so far, fucking awesome, it reminded me a lot of the fights in Jujutsu Kaisen. :3 |

| This ep was so hype!! We got Reno and Iharu tag-teaming against Mushroom Kaiju, Kafka showing up just in time to save the young duo, and now Kafka vs Hoshina... lots of ppl will know Kafka's secret at this point oof |
| Wow, Reno and Iharu were lucky that the Humanoid Kaiju wasn't fighting seriously. What I'm wondering about is what the Humanoid Kaiju meant by preparing Reno; maybe he was going to turn him into a Kaiju. Kafka arrived at the perfect moment. The fight was pretty good, and I'm surprised by his great power; he defeated it quite quickly, but it's obvious it will come back stronger (a typical cliché, but I like it). I'm conflicted: I want them to find out that Kaiju No. 8 is Kafka, and at the same time, I don't. Now Hoshina, who has a 92% battle potential, is facing Kafka. |

| i wonder who will thwart his attempt at eliminating no. 8...but of course the big bad escaped thanks to humans thinking of attacking no. 8 without thinking that he was probably about to kill another kaiju or something. |

| This was a very upsetting episode for many reasons. The torture, the fact that Kaiju #9 got away and then the 2nd in command just removed his limiter in an effort to take out #8, not good. |

| Reno and Iharu did their best but they were never going to win this fight. Looks like Kafka will have to transform again after all. I loved the humanoid Kaiju's confusion when Kafka was destroying him. The "I'm in danger" had me laughing. Well, this is looking very bad for Kafka. The vice-captain and his 92% are no joke! |

| Reno and Iharu practically praying for some asspull to come save them, and Kafka going full All-Might against Kaijuu No.9. Man, this sure was a fun episode. |
| Kafka did more damage to the humanoid kaiju than I thought, exposing his core and all. But of course the fight was interrupted so it got away. Now Kafka cannot surprise it next time they meet. Why did the two rando's not call in that Kaiju No.8 protected them? Communication is the greatest power in a battle. Hoshino has gotten serious! Who will interrupt them next week do we recon? Find out next time on Dragon Ba... I mean Kaiju No.8. |

| It's one thing after another that my heart couldn't get a second of rest, whew! What an episode! I mean, I know that Kafka will later come to the rescue but still, seeing Reno undergo such ordeal was so nerve-wracking. And then when everything seemed to be all over for the enemy, Kafka was seen by the other officers, much worse, the enemy managed to escape! But as if that ain't enough for the roller coaster ride, Captain Hoshina caught up with Kafka in his kaiju form. Much as I want Kafka to overcome the dilemma, I want to see Captain Hoshina in action too! |
| WTF WAS THAT CLIFFHANGER!!! Honestly a very good episode. I liked getting to see the determination of both Reno and Iharu, and I loved the action scene between Kafka and the humanoid Kaiju. I wonder how this next fight is going to turn out. I know Kafka isn’t going to die, but how will he get out of this? Is he going to have to hurt Hoshina? (10/10) |
| This was a fine episode overall. The production value of the fights and their choreography was fairly weak. Versus the previous excellent offerings. An expression on the difficulty of consistency at this level. |

| The Kaiju vs Kaiju fight was really good visually. Still the best part of the show. Dialogue/Internal monologue during the Reno-Iharu vs Kaiju fight was atrocious. Reno is getting killed and Iharu is at first jealous of Reno and upset at his own limitations, but then is like "He's gonna be a great soldier one day! You're awesome Reno!" So dumb. |
