| Akito is soooo unsettling. Colleen Clinkenbeard being the english va knocks up the creepiness even more. I’m glad that the natural hair joke got adapted! It’s the first and only scene I had seen of the original anime before watching the remake |

He only showed up to intimidate Yuki into submission since he didn't attend the family's New Year's festival. |
| Akito is an enigmatic character. What an aura to define cold and dangerous. Btw we had Kazuma VA from KonoSuba as the Student Council Prez this episode. Too damn funny and with Black Haru you get one helluva ride. |

| A few weeks ago I asked people whether I should hang in there and watch this despite hating shojo anime and wanting to see the mc dead, and now I'm happy I was convinced to keep on watching! Akito looks incredibly promising, I'm so happy there's some raw piece of sh*t motherf*cker in the show, I would have gone insane otherwise. Hell yeah, bring in the psychological trauma. So looking forward to being horrified. 10/10. |
| I read the manga a looooong time ago and I nearly forgot about the whole "main ship" bait. it's almost funny to watch now lol I'm glad I know how it ends and won't need to worry about being disappointed with how things are going now, otherwise I'd probably drop it. |
| Great episode tbh. First half was really fun. Tooru annoys me sometimes, but I'm pretty fond of her "space cadet" side. The second half gives us another reason to hate Akito. I definitely have a lot of questions about how their family dynamic works. Glad this will be a complete adaption. |

| oh how i loved this episode. we got some good reveals and even more hilarious moments. kyou being all protective over tohru was so sweet. the whole argument over momiji's outfit and haru coming in to defend him and then proceeding to prove his natural hair color to the president had me on the floor ngl lmao. akito showing up had me so shook. she comes off as a nice person but she's obviously a very good manipulator. finding out about yuki's backstory and everything that happened to him hurt me so damn much, god i feel so bad for him. his emotions and physical reaction was done so well. i wonder if they're gonna change the opening and ending themes now that we're 12 episodes in. |

| Amazing episode! Tonal shifts this episode was right on the mark, and that’s always great to have! Tohru and co have become second-year students now and right off the mark we get some gold Uo, Kyo and Hanajima moments! President is a ridiculous person too but seriously what’s with Momoji wearing the girls’ outfit lol? I’m really curious to how Haru managed to convince him xD but since he mentioned ‘hug’ somewhere along the line, it must be showing his true form. Risky move though, no? Anyway, that aside, Akito’s little cameo was legit terrifying! Yuki totally blacked out yikes and those flashbacks looked horrifying. Good thing Shigure managed to pull him out of there. Tohru pushing Akito aside was very nice to see and her trying to cheer him up even more! She’s an angel, for sure! Lol @ Hanajima totally fine despite the others breathless. Funny that even Tohru didn’t seem too tired also but I’m assuming this is pretty much nothing. Apparently, we’ll be seeing another Zodiac next episode so can’t wait to see how that goes! |

| Soon we will be meeting snake. Ending show snake with Yuki soon... I wont say more. At the ending someone said "little brother". Conclusions everywhere. Also, manga readers knowbetter why Yuki is really afraid of Yuki. If the promise is real, we will be watching this on anime. The first part of the episode was really fun. When I first read it I was like Tooru: How did Haru show president Taikei that his hair is natural white? But then I understand: both man... a bathroom, what black Haru said to Tooru... Ok, I stop now. |
| I loved everything in this episode... the first part with the comedy around Momiji, Haru and the Makoto (and his sidekicks) is very funny... and Kyo defending Tohru... so cool the second part, with Akito, was so well-done... they really build a terrifying atmosphere around him... (and that angry look, Kyo give was great) badminton game was fun too ^^ (Hanajima just stand there, like if nothing happened, while everyone else are exhausted, XD ) |
| I wonder how long Yuki was locked in that dark room. Such a simple, yet devastating punishment. I cannot grasp how utterly terrifying that must be. Imagine: you cannot get out. You waste your strength feeling and prying at every nook and cranny, trying to escape. You holler at the top of your lungs, desperate for an answer that will never come. No one acknowledges your existence. You are isolated from all human contact: not just being unable to talk to other people, not just being able to read their posts on the internet, but being unable to just hear them speak over the radio or read the thoughts of others written in books. No other ideas, no implication of the existence of another being to comfort yourself with. You are simply alone in the dark with only your own thoughts. You were tossed in here because your leader said you did something wrong. You cannot fight the ruling of the leader; his authority has been recognized by a clan consisting of over a hundred people. You look up to see the adults obeying the leader's command, despite knowing his nature. If such people smarter and more resourceful than you refuse to disobey their leader's command to save you, then they have recognized that there is no way to resist the leader. There is no escape. Or... perhaps all of those responsible adults can see something in the leader you cannot; perhaps they believe the leader is doing what's best for you. You begin to think to yourself "is it me who is the problem? Was it may fault?". When you'd leave that box, who knows how much time had passed. The world marched on without you. You'd do anything to avoid going back to that dark room. You must not commit that mistake again... If I was in Yuuki's position and Akito told me to stop seeing Torhu, I'd be hard pressed to resist. I'd be paralyzed with fear, might even sell out Torhu. Anything to avoid going back... |

In this ending there is no sleeping Kagura and Ayame (they are shown as animals though and walking by Yuki's window when he was little, but that's too little when compared to other zodiacs). Also, no Ritsu at all. In this opening they included Kagura and Akito, but no Ayame, Kisa, Hiro. And if they keep animating 2 chapters as 1 episode, we should meet Ritsu at the end of the 1st season, so he should be included too. Oh, not to mention Hanajima, Uotani and Shigure are shown so briefly. T_T Akito and Kyouko can be shown briefly since we don't see much about them in the beginning, but those 3 are important since the beginning... |

| AKITO IS A DUDE!? Or did the dub just screw up his/her genderization in the final scene? Or is Tohru just duped by Akito's androgynous features? Because Tohru definitely referred to Akito by male pronouns in that final scene. Mod Edit: Removed quote of deleted post. |

| Lol Tohru is 100x more attractive than Akito, his/her personality is the ugly one. Though I suppose he/she is aware of that, I sense low self-esteem hence high jealousy and obnoxious attitude. |

| I'm glad the tension of the meeting with Akito was well preserved. It's a scene I remember well from the original adaptation, especially the music. Akito looks beautiful as well. | Dark Haru is so savage xD Such an excellent job with that transition from a lighthearted scene with Haru, the Pres and co. to a more tense one with the meeting between Tooru and Akito. Not to mention that the way they portrayed Yuki's terror of Akito was perfectly executed in my opinion. Overall, it was another fantastic episode. |
| So, Akito is the shoujo version of Orochimaru. The tone changed dramatically when she appeared. Haru showing his bush ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) and Shigure looked so handsome with that hairstyle lol. |

There is a very valid reason for why Akito gets away with so much and why the Zodiac members can't go against Akito.
