| For anybody wondering why it is called "Gi(a)rlish" Number. Its a pun. "Girlish Number" is read as "Garish" Number Girlish = girly Garish = crude, overtly overblown in bad taste, kitschy, tasteless. The title itself is a pun on the double-faced nature of the anime industry, as well as the production of the show that Chitose is VA in. |

| Chitose is literally a savage, coming down on these bitches with sticks and stones motherfucker. This is literally the only show I find interesting this season. The humor is spot on, it has the same character dynamic of OreGairu (1 character that's not a copy-paste interacting with copy-pasted characters), and I can't stop laughing at how cocky Chitose can be and how easily it's knocked down into a cynical fucking savage. I have high hopes for this. |

| Koto is challenging Watashi Chitose for my favourite charcter. Was Koto's age ever esthablished? At the end, she was drinking beer, so she is at least 20. The (in show) anime isn't looking too great, it could end up like Jiggly Jiggly Heaven. Let's hope there are less "funny stories" in this production. |

| This episode was the perfect blend of character intros and cynically snide monologues. Chitose has this in the bag. Yae is basically gonna be the but of all their jokes without reprieve, which is sad and funny at the same time. Looking forward to learning more about the two pro-Seiyuu's though. I get the feeling their back stories may be a lot more interesting than the new girls. And what exactly is the deal with the original author harping about the anime? Other than stating minor visual differences I really don't get what the big fuss is. I get there's gotta be some drama in the show, but at least make it realistic. If it's a minor issue with an earring or a mole on a character, couldn't that could totally be fixed at any time during the production? |

She'll fall really hard if she make any mistake or failure in some way tho, so I hope if she does, please spare me the drama.. Why does Yae's VA sounds like HanaKana at some point!? I loved it tho! I expected audiences will bash the PV after looking how horrendous it was, it's like watching A-1's anime or something..! *cough*denpa kyoushi, qualidea code*cough* Most of the pacing and atmosphere so far, reminds me of Shirobako a bit, except it's about Seiyuu. | I am seriously loving that arrogant little cocky Chitose. She looks cute and her personality is so bad. Can't not love this girl. Lol how they're treating this LN adaptation. Chitose didn't even bother to see what the LN was about to the point that she didn't know that it's gonna be a harem anime lol. And the staff behind the anime didn't care about it either. They changed the character designs a bit too much and the visuals are like crap. Diomedea did a good job showing the whole PV and making it look like shit. Good job in making crap lol. And the audience buys that shit lol. Look at that applause for that crappie PV. I was expecting Chitose or someone else to say that the PV looks like shit but no one did. And the future of this anime looks bleak lol. They don't have a key visual yet, the PV looks like shit, the staff and cast couldn't care less about the source material and the anime, especially the staff who are treating it like a joke. This is gonna fail so bad. Chitose and Yae's interactions are fun. Lol how Chitose straightforwardly says that Yae's heart is black and her words are empty. Chitose really doesn't like Yae lol. The Kansai girl was okay too. I am loving this anime even more now. Everyone is such a fun bunch. And I love the poking fun and things here. Now to see how Chitose's first major role anime flops. Or maybe they're gonna show how everyone will buy it even though it's crap. |

Her "innocent" song at the beginning had me in tears already. I really like her agency and that studio where they are working. That Kuzu-P guy is pretty much Shirobako's Tarou but with power lol. I didn't catch what his role is, producer? He's so irresponsible that he's hilarious. If they do make this anime, I wonder how bad it will look in the end, probably pull some yashigani lmao. |

| The MC is a bit of a dick. I like her. And the snarky portrayal of the industry is funny in its own way. I'm pretty sure these kinds of poor attitudes exist all over. |
| This show continues to be one of the best this season. Chitose's just so likable! The production staff are also hilarious with how little they care about the quality of the show. And that PV did look terrible. It was so funny how many cliches they fit into the anime they're working on. And I also love the fact that the otakus are still hyped for it. |

| Haha, that art quality in PV :D Total garbage :D I'm never watching PVs :p I'm picking series by generes and posters :p It could look silly, but it's effective in 99% cases if it comes to me. 5/5 one of my favorites of this season. |

| Well I'm not a very big fan of meta anime like this but these first two episodes have been pretty decent, mostly because chitose is a qt 3.14 and the writers of this show seem to want to take the piss out of LN adaptations and people in the industry. Girlish Number still feels quite generic though so far, meaning I can't help but feel like these satirical elements presented are somewhat hypocritical. I'll keep watching though. |

| Another week of savage, scathing bliss. I have a feeling Chitose's gonna come down to Earth one of these days, and it won't be pretty. The Shirobako similarities seemed to deepen this time around, not that I have a problem with that. |
| great ep, really liking all the characters except Kazuha though hopefully she will change in time that PV though was definitely lots of weird things in it especially the characters just looked really weird at times which was lol but over all this series is really great am really enjoying it so far |
