| Never understood it either. Fortunately, I haven't butted heads or met any of those folks on Mal, at least, I don't think I have. Space opera isn't exactly my favorite genre, tbh, but I give credit to Logh for its good characters, entertainment value, and political intrigue. But there's absolutely nothing 3deep5me about it, so any pseudo-intellectual arrogance emanating from its fanbase is laughable. |

| LoGH, in truth, is a good ol' space opera, with some fantastic world building and yada yada. And that's the key word, it's a good show, considering all its flaws and all. And even if you are blind to all the meh parts, I still don't get why people consider it a 'deep' or 'intelligent' show, considering the narrator fuckin spoon feeds you every time, and thus obliterating any attempts of using your intellect in the first place. In short, Good =/= intelligent. |

| LoGH isn't really that complex from a narrative point of view to muddle up the watchers with the details. All ya need is a bit of patience. It's large scaled with its world building and character expositions, sure. But without the narrator's constant babbling, the show would have been more fun and probably a bit more intelligent than it is. |
