wow you're so pure. i'm not even being sarcastic.

It had the opposite effect on me socially. Influenced me in a bad way but still I don't regret it. It helped me get over my obsession with anorexia a little.

Anime helped me quite a lot actually. I've only recently started watching it more seriously and well, it actually changed the way I see things in general. I am way more optimistic than I already was and I know exactly what I want from life, how to get it and I would also say when to get it but that would be almost impossible to know.
The answer to this question, whether anime helped you in someway highly depends from person to person because some people get very attached when watching anime, they just go deep in the story while other people just watch them like meh, entertainment, time passer and so on.

Try to go clean for 7 days.
Pros: more energy, clearer mind, and tons more. I'm sure there's going to be a shitstorm on this threat now. Check out that reddit. Porn and masturbation can ruin your life (if you are addited).
Try it out, I thought it was bullshit but I tried and felt way better being clean instead of doing it every day.

I'm on a 11 days streak now, the normal "test" periods are 30 or 90 days. I'm trying to go for 90+ now... It is hard...

You can go ahead and fap 4 times a day to porn.

"NoFap® is a web community that hosts challenges in which users ("Fapstronauts") abstain from pornography and masturbation for a period of time ("fapstinence"). Whether your goal is casual participation in a monthly challenge as a test of self-control, or whether excessive masturbation or pornography has become a problem in your life and you want to quit for a longer period of time, you will find a supportive community and plenty of resources here."

I think that it originally had helped me. I began looking for more things to do in life. I guess it kind of inspired me to try a lot of new things. It also introduced me to some new friends who happened to be Korean and Japanese, and not to be stereotypical or anything, but my grades in school went way up after hanging out with them more XD.
The only problem is that now I end up consuming too much time watching anime, it interferes with other things I could be doing in life like doing sports... or something...

It's been there for me when I wasn't there for myself.

Specific anime have also taught me various good lessons, as well.
☕ Truth be told, I'm quite proud of my house blend. To attain my flavor and fragrance, I use five different types of coffee beans. ☕

Thats a good way to put it. It really depends from person to person whether they see anime as a benefit or a hinderance. And for people who find it a hindrance, they (sadly) might not have even done anything with their life anyway. btw (Sorry not really related) I think its good for everyone, whether they are young or old, to go and see what the can accomplish and not just sit around and wait for something to happen. You have to be looking for something, just don't expect it to come to you.
