So a character who loses himself in revenge seems cool to you? Sasuke from Naruto anyone? So most people like to think that once he lost his motivation for revenge, he became a annoying character again. This is just a sad way of looking at a character. He has a caring personality, but he also feels obliged because i think he feels that they were also partially caught up in this mess because of him. Even if he takes away the Valvrave and runs away, the school would be in danger because it was the place for the Valvrave project. It's not like he is the only one who can but he doesn't want something bad to happen to others especially after seeing what happened to the ARUS pilot trying to pilot VVV-1. He didn't know what he was gonna turn into so how can he let others turn out like him? Self-sacrificing characters are never really appreciated.

Nope you are wrong about that one. His Valvrave is special and the AI has control over him. But the others are immortal and they can switch bodies as shown by Saki. Btw immortality is a curse in a way, because time stops for you but everyone around you dies. So yeah in a way they are cursed but Haruto is taking the worst of it.

About Saki, if we notice what she was saying and those flashback coupled with the rumors, it is obvious that she has some deep and sad back story behind her. Pretending not to care about the flashbacks because you don't care about the character is pretty stupid isn't it? Moreover why do we take things literally? Saki wants attention. Is it that bad? Everyone wants attention. But that makes her a bitch doesn't it? It's not about wanting attention, it's about being recognized by people. From the flashbacks we can assume Saki really had a tough life, think about what she say about her parents. Someone even tried to kill her. An idol's life isn't easy (well i am no expert but you don't need a PHD in psychology to understand a little bit either). She always tried hard to be famous, to be someone people recognizes, to be someone everyone remembers so her existence isn't erased and she had to do it by herself (Before you say i am making stuff up, notice what she says and watch the flashbacks again). She may not be your perfect princess and her methods aren't likable but she is still much better than the rest of the female cast and that's a fact.

Please you do know how wrong you are on this one right? This isn't a love-comedy about vampire pilots. Fans here are interested about the secrets of the Valvraves, the mysteries of the AI, the future of ARUS, Dorssia, JIOR and the outcome that will come out of this war, the development of the characters...........i can go on and on. If you just focus on shipping that is only part of the series then you definitely have a wrong idea. I have no idea how you got such a weird idea about the fans of this show.

This is one thing that always bothers me when people attempt to justify a person's actions (whether that person be fictional or real). Having a tough life does not mean you can just do things that are detrimental to others. You are not excused for you actions because of the way your life has been. Saki has done enough within the story to warrant her being disliked by many people.

Never go on to state your opinion as fact. Who the best female character is remains entirely up to each individual. The few scenes we've had of Akira also make me put her above Saki as far as the characters I actually care about.

I don't want to leave you with the impression of me HATING Saki, because I certainly do not. I'm just tired of seeing characters like her stealing the spotlight from others just to later do something that makes some situations much worse than they should be (though it remains to be seen if Saki will actually end up doing so).

I also personally don't care for her archetype (nor Shouko's to be honest) because they end up being too flat as far as character development goes.

And the fact that bothers me more is that how people call her a bad character without even trying to understand her perspective. We are completely opposite in our views about Saki and Shouko, so i don't anything i say will really matter. I rather have faults in my liked characters, leaves some room for development.

Btw whose fault is that situation became like this? Don't go accusing the wrong person and you don't have to answer that. I like Saki more than the other girls and her character has been more interesting than the rest.

I didn't call her a bad character, to start things off. I just pointed out that she, just like the majority of the cast, has done enough to warrant being disliked by viewers. Shouko isn't excluded from this (and to a lesser extent neither is Akira). Shouko has done things that have left me laughing just as often as Saki has. I can just relate more to her character because her views are relatively the same as mine. Her actions tend to be ridiculous at times while grounded at others...just like everyone else's actions. As an example that treads the line pretty seriously, her proposal to go ahead with the school festival was a great one. Her speech, however, wasn't as it had no sense of direction and did nothing more at the end of the day than get everyone pumped up. I can see what she was going for, it was just executed rather poorly.

Also, there's not a single character in this convoluted story that doesn't have faults. None of the leading characters are perfect, as they all have their moments of what seems like stupidity to some of us.

Look man i am really too tired for this but i didn't mean you and that was my view/argument against how she was being treated like a bad character/slut in episode 6 and how i see her character. And from there, i only liked her character more. If the characters aren't perfect, it makes the show more enjoyable.

Contrary to you, i can understand Saki's character better. I don't want to start another "Why i dislike Shouko" flame war again. I had way too many of that. I like Saki's character better in comparison to Shouko, which is the opposite of you. So let's call it a day, shall we?

I'm fine with ending this here, though I'd rather actually know how you feel about the cast and your reasonsl. I don't think there's enough to the actual story to start a flame war in all honesty, but the internet has proven me wrong before...

Anyways, I respect your opinion. Just try not to get so agitated by others that don't put much thought into what they post. The internet is silly and has varying views out the wazoo.

And yes, my avatar is of the R-1 from SRW. One of my favorite mechs/real robots to use in the games. I also like/respect Ryu for some of the choices he made throughout the games (though I don't think there's a single member of the OGs crew that I don't like, haha).
