| Tatsumaki and Fubuki's re-introduction to the series after six years being featured with a shot of their ass and boobs respectively sure was a decision. Sasuga, hentai director! 3/5 start. Practically a conversation-heavy setup episode with barely anything remarkable to point out. As for animation, I have had the lowest of expectations since the moment J.C.Staff was re-confirmed for this new season but seriously, seeing so many people whining about animation in an episode that was purely talk is... embarrassing, to say the least. |
| Just seeing animated Garuo made my day ten times better. I love how the animators specifically animated a manga cover of Garou. |

| Six years have passed, and the sequel is finally here! Last watched it when I was in my second year of middle school, and now I'm in my freshman year in college. Time flies fast, huh? Judging from the intro, it actually seems pretty ordinary—like most anime. However, why is the rest full of static images that are just shifted around? Sure, there's no fighting, but this isn't how it's supposed to be, is it? The details in the images are also nonexistent. Honestly speaking, this is only the first episode, and I'm already disappointed. Kinda ironic, the fact that they had at least six years to give their best, but turns out? |

| I have just seen the episode and....I don't understand why some people are disappointed of this episode. This episode is just typical non-combat OPM episode, not to mention this is post Garou / Elder Centipede fight episode actually, of course things would get calmer. Too soon to judge about animation when there is no combat scenes at all. |

| After Season 2 i knew things wont get any better, but i mean it was the Hype Episode. The Episode to get people invested into Season 3. And i honestly didnt expect it to be worse than Fan Animations. At this point i am wondering why they are even getting paid for. Is this season being animated by 2 guys? |
| After 6 years of waiting, this is what we get I suppose... They didn't even bother making a small recap, and jumped right into the plot. Had a hard time following this episode due to that, but that is not particularly a problem of the anime, maybe I should have just rewatched the 2nd season. Besides that, I felt like the episode was really fast paced, they were just adding characters and characters, each of them saying stuff that made me stop the episode to read the subtitles since it was so fast. And the fact that the animation was non-existent, the episode felt choppy, and just not overall great to watch. At the end of the episode, it just seems a whole bunch of stuff happened, but nothing really important happened at the same time. I don't know, I feel like this episode was an overall mess. One Punch Man was the 3rd anime I have ever watched, so i will always have a special place for it, but this episode was hard to enjoy. I am not surprised this season is starting in this messy way, considering all the red flags shown throughout these 6 years, but wow, they really didn't get a single thing right this time. Just like the usual, the new opening and ending themes for the anime aren't my cup of tea either... And they always make the endings show an empty world, always so sinister, when the anime never really gets remotely dark in that matter. |
| Well, even though the art and animation isn't Madhouse-quality, I might as well not gripe about it if I'm going to continue watching this series. Overall, I thought this episode was a good setup for what to expect story-wise from this season. |

| finally opm is back after so long, but wow, that first episode was kind of rough. the art looks nice, but most of it felt like still images instead of real animation. it honestly looked more like a slideshow at times. i really hope they’re saving the budget for the big fight scenes later (a lot of hype ones i really look forward to). the comedy and voice acting were still fun though, and i liked seeing saitama and fubuki again. it’s just weird that after all these years, the animation still feels this flat. i’ll keep watching because i enjoy the manga, but yeah, i’m really hoping episode 2 picks things up. |
| Nice to see OPM back. Well, perhaps it was not the best opening episode ever released, and what it lacked the most was animation, but all the other stuff I enjoy in OPM anime in general was still there, so I can't say I wasn't entertained at all. ;p I wonder what will happen next. Speaking about animation, I wonder where all those folks are who complained, even in a very rude way, about OPM S2's animation, while it was not half bad. Well, I guess after watching the first episode of Season 3, they might change their opinion, lol. I don't believe that the animation quality in S3 will drastically improve... Not after those official statements telling fans not to expect a lot from Season 3. Welp. It's a shame that fairly popular action series gets a sequel after all those years with underwhelming animation quality that is arguably worse than animation in, dunno, a random romcom series. I like this blonde woman with a whip, lol. Very cool design and interesting ability. |

| Crazy to think that the first season came out 10 years ago. Almost feels like yesterday watching it xD Gonna enjoy this season a lot regardless of animation. Sure absolute cinema like S1 would've been peak, but that was a one time thing that will never happen again. The content will be good enough (the best this series has been) And I enjoy the memes about the production, even tho I also feel damn bad for the director and the staff since people got not chill at all. |

| I'm nervous, why the score so low...... art style imo looks better than season 2, in fact if I remember correctly it now looks more like season 1 art style, for example Genos metal body in season 2 looked cg like, it definitely didn't look hand drawn while in this episode it is hand drawn. I can't say anything about the animation since there was not any action, but based off the score something tells me that fans aren't too happy about it. |
| this ep was great?? and visually looked fine..? Feels like people were literally just waiting to bandwagon hate on this anime. I keep seeing people memeing on how bad it is with just the same clip of Garou sliding down that grass lol. Will see how it develops but so far looks to at least be as good as S2, that while was ofc a step down from Madhouse s1, was still good and worth the watch despite all the hate it received. |
