| I wasn't expecting to like Namari as much as I did. Wtf she's so cool. Nice episode overall. I think at first, I wasn't really sure how to approach Dungeon Meshi, but some episodes ago I figured it out and enjoy it a lot more. I like the vibe. Or really, I was actually worried about this sister being eaten thing, so I was kinda just like on edge about it. I think by now I've learned to chill about it-- especially now that I learn more about the dungeon mechanics, lore, and such. |
| Our protagonists encounter Namari, their former group member, who now serves as a bodyguard for Lord Tansu, a gnome who wouldn't hesitate to use someone as a human shield. Despite this, he compensates with the ability to resurrect. The dungeon's curse is briefly explained. Laios, Senshi, and Marcille aid Tansu and are rewarded with a taste of tentacles, along with healing Marcille, who is left magic-depleted. Using Senshi's most potent weapon, a pot made from the hardest metal, they decide to capture an undine to restore Marcille's magic. Namari proves helpful in the undine confrontation, and in the end, she gets to taste dishes made from dungeon monsters. While Namari doesn't join our protagonists, it's likely we'll see her again. |

| This episode is wholesome in its own way. Glad to see Marcille and Namari have made up :) although I was a bit surprised when they put the tentacles in the meat stew, because it looked like a banana... Oh and, hahaha! Laios almost had a future brother-in-law~ xD |

| Another fun episode. We got some lore on how revival works, and how magic power works. Can’t wait to see what adventures next week holds. (7/10) |

| Dungeon Meshi Episode 9 We had a closure between Marcile and Namari. Now we know that we can resurrect the dead inside the dungeon. Senshi without a helmet is glorious. Now we know that Senshi's pot is not only good for cooking but is also a very strong weapon made out of adamant. The sword organism of Laois still comes in handy. We have yet to see Shuro, but we found out that he is in love with Falin. Now that Marcile has her powers back, the adventure to save Falin continues. |

Animede ki tek sağlam kişiliklere sahip karakterler tatlı Elf Marcille ile Senshi herhalde. He's a dirty traitor and he's making useless drama, but I'm not upset at all. You leave your party at the first difficulty and then talk nonsense about needing money, it's extremely annoying. Laios is another idiot. Even though the woman didn't save your sister and left you, it's even more annoying that he treats her nicely as if she were your classmate who didn't share his food with you. I think the only characters with strong personalities in the anime are the sweet Elf Marcille and the Senshi. |
| Laios's party encountering Namari with her own party, and Marcille sure has her feud against her, and the gnomes of Mr and Mrs. Tansu casually uses her as a meat shield for his revival magic. But still, to revive Marcille means following them on their research, and both Laios and Senshi follow them deep into the castle ruins...to encounter tentacles. Laios letting himself be bait to save Kiki, he depends on Senshi and Namari to save him when it comes to the crunch. Laios pretty much just getting stings from ivy tentacles, and Senshi peeling it like a banana, they have a taste test before cooking it. Most importantly, the deal is made that Tansu healed Marcille, and putting the Falin incidient aside, both women have their own feuds. The Undine is still there, and since Tansu's group is going back to the surface, Laios wanting Marcille to return with them to restore her mana, and with just 3 people, the Red Dragon cannot be dealt with. And recruiting Namari into Laios's party is not an option...so Marcille wanting to face the Undine and swallow it to regain her mana, it's not as easy as plain chunk. And Senshi's wok, which has been passed down from generations, is an adamantine pan/shield, and cooking is the only way to defeat it, with both the pan and lid of the efforts of both the strong and barbaric Senshi and Namari. With the Undine condensed down to water, using it as a nutrient base with tentacles and kelpie meat, Marcille's mana comes back to life, and Namari is rather surprised that dungeon food tastes good, as well as her apology to him for insulting his weaponry. Everyone is finally back on good terms, and I love to see this. |

| This gnome is way different than what Paracelsus describes. They look like a cousin of some sort of dwarves on this take. Though it's nice we got to see a different portrayal of gnome. I only got to see them on some gardens as a decor. It's odd that something that moves looks like a banana, kind of expected Octopodidae-ish looking meat since it got tentacles. They finally got to deal with undine and recovers some mana for Marcille. Two birds with one stone. So, Senshi a dwarf does not obsess about blacksmithing, he prefers to cook rather than do that. Nice take, lot of portrayals of dwarf is basically a hairy midget obsess with crafting and liquors. That resurrection part must be mindf*ck sensation, if someone experience that for the first time. In Namari case it's definitely not the first time she got over it way too quickly. |

| Got to meet some interesting new characters in this episode and the party finally defeated the undine monster. Senshi looked pretty different without his helmet, more dignified I suppose. Also it's good to see Marcille up and running with mana again. |
| I loved the part at 6:45—them trying to convince Marcille to wear a frog suit. Then at 6:55, when the music kicks in. My subtitles, for some reason, literally read "[intriguing music plays]". Which kinda made me choke and start laughing. Just the combination of visuals and grandiose music, and the literal frog suits we seem them all wearing in the next shot. This anime is just so perfect... the comedy is never in-your-face and is an example of the strengths of subtlety. |

| Alright another dwarf nakama arrives and surely she had such a skill with that one-shot kill over that Tentacles. But to think that the tentacle can serve as a banana tho. A sting banana kekw Alright Marcille needs to replenish her magic asap after getting healed. But they need to defeat Undine first. So they use the adamant pot as a way to catch the rampage water spirit? And here they are succeed boiling the poor water spirit and used it as a broth to their newly freshen stew dishes! |

| I love this episode, there was a lot going on. I finally found out about that resurrection magic and how it's used. So basically it's "forbidden to die" in the dungeon huh. They were reunited with one of their previous members and it went well. That one gnome was kinda racist to elves but he's not so bad. And they fucking cooked a water spirit lol. |
