| Plot holes, boring characters, lame way of implementing Naruto's team into the story, slow moving plot...all the elements for a Naruto filler. The only good thing about this is that we might get to see Sai finally having a good fight. Why can't they do a cool background story for characters like Zabuza, Kimimaro or Team Sarutobi (third). I could think of so many more cool things to do instead of this lame stuff. nina4life said: So hold on a moment. Actually, Pein was able to do that by himself as well. I think the weapon with the tailed beasts is supposed to be able to take out whole countries lol. |

| 1. When I said that I wanted to see more Naruto action ( cuz' I got tired of Saucegay's lameness ), I meant moving on to the Pein arc, not a stupid dumb filler ! 2. Another weird guy with an emo-like haircut appears, now why am I not surpised ? He acts like Saucegay, he even talks like him. 3. Um...soap bubble technique ? The staff is probably running out of new ideas for the fillers. Is it so hard to just stick to the manga ? 4. Hotaru reminds me of young Sakura. She is obviously obsessed with that Utakata dude. 5. Do I have to deal with this crap for another 20 episodes ?! I hope it gets better. Here I was barely waiting for the Pein arc to get animated,and instead, I got stuck with another filler. This better be worth ! |

| This could well be the worst filler arc so far, judging by this first episode. Why do we need fillers anyway? Shippuuden is about 2 years behind the manga and was going at a slow enough pace with the canon anyway. The bubble-blowing fag is just a carbon copy of Saucegay and that stupid, whining girl is annoying as hell. The enemies have the worst character designs I've ever seen in Naruto and they re-use the same "Person hates Naruto, stuff happens, they become friends" theme over and over and over in fillers >.> |

| I'm not too thrilled about the idea of a filler arc but I have to say this doesn't seem that bad to me. The bubble jutsu is pretty awesome. Sasuke v2.0 is pretty hot too. |

And what's so bad about having filler ninjas use ordinary standard techniques and just be really overall skilled at fighting, like for instance kakashi? Instead we get the *hey I can use like one technique but it's like really frigging-uber-special-awesome, which automatically makes me awesome. and today it's bubbles* And of course the enemies use some kinda frigging combination tech that will prove to be utterly useless when they're alone. One good thing though is that it seems the postal service is working like a charm, heck konoha knew those uglies were attacking before they themselves knew it... God I hate fillers!!!!! /Rant |

| what I reaaaally can't stand about fillers is the fact that whoever comes up with them seems to think the audience is stupid. just because we've been out of a 'serious' arc, they have to start all over again with that stupidness characteristic to fillers, like Yamato and Naruto's ridiculous faces, bleeding hell. whatever, at least the guy's a jinchuuriki. by the way did anyone else realise the relationship between the bubbles guy and the kinjutsu girl is supposed to be a kinda parallel to sasuke and sakura? |

| Don't normally reply to old episode discussion threads but... I was watching this on my phone in hospital for a procedure, and couldn't help but burst out laughing at the guy floating away in a bubble. And then even started laughing at the thought of it later on that day. It was just so funny to me! Oh and Naruto's counter scary face. That was epic. |

| So how long will these fillers last? Just a bunch of dumb characters with some weird backstory. And that one kinjutsu that's so strong it can destroy a whole village. A group of 4 shinobis (most of the time) try to take that kinjutsu and create havoc. Cliché shit. |
