| Imo, too much merchant bullcrap that made no sense half the time, and not nearly enough romance. Still, it left a nice warm feeling, so 8/10 well deserved. |

I remember Horo mentioning that when two wolves rub noses together, it has an equivalence to a human kiss. So my guess who be that Lawrence picked up on that and did exactly that, thinking that it would be a good idea as a normal french kiss would be out of his character. Thus the animation of his mouth on the side with their noses crossing each other. Or it might be just as everyone else stated, they really ballz up the kiss up, meh... Kinnda disappointing, been longing for a good romantic ending *sigh*. However i do agree about the lack of Horo's response of Lawerence's acts. Disappointing... But Horo will forever be my favorite :D. Coincidentally, Ahri ( from League of Legends if anyone knows --'') has just been release and she reminds me so much of Horo! <3 IMO, there WILL be a 3rd season but the question is when. I would say 2-3 years more xD |

| Just saw both seasons in 2 days. I love Horo but Lawerence lost a lot or respect from me in second season. He is too old to be acting like that. He did say he was a child when it comes to matters outside or merchants. I hope a 3rd season comes out. IDK why but this anime reminds me of Earl and Fairy i guess because of the art style. I'm not really sure. |
| 2 years already and still no news about season III? Crap, is the last message "Hope we meet again in season 3" really meant it? Well I won't stop waiting though because recently a 6 years untouched story (Eureka 7) has just announced next season It's still 2 years though, hope it'll come out anywhere soon in 2012 |
| Finally, THEY KISSED!! :D Now I can almost die happy - all I need now is a Season 3 Watched both seasons in like two days; it was so good that I couldn't sleep without watching the whole thing. Definitely one of my all-time favourites. What a touching love story! I also noticed how Holo's eyes fluttered right when Lawrence kissed her, but then pretended to have no reaction as he pulled away! Ohoho, Holo, you are already under Lawrence's spell. |

| Ni-i-i-i-i-ice. I liked that episode. Too bad Boland turned out to look like the bad guy(I'm not even sure what happened during her conversation with Lawrence). At least now I'm full of hope for the next season(and I'm actually looking forward to it way more than I did after Season 1) no matter when will it come out. All this season contained two great and intriguing arcs and I liked it way more than Season 1. Borland is my most favorite character from it... yeah, she's great merchant I like probably everything about her. And even if the ending was somewhat nice, I still feel bad about Lawrence's missed chance =\ My score goes like this: 1. Characters. +1. Besides Holo and Lawrence, there were some really good characters like Borland, the inkeeper and Mark. They were so much better than the Season 1 supporting characters. 2. Atmosphere. +1. Totally great, I enjoyed every bit of it. 3. OST. +1. The ED wasn't big deal imo, but the ED was just great, probably better than the one of Season 1. 4. Animation. +1. Although many dislike this season's animation I like it way better than the one of S1(back then it was too flashy for my eyes). 5. Background story. +1. I guess I'm giving score here because of the background stories of Borland and Holo(we got to know her background better just now). 6. Storyline. +1. The plot was way more interesting now in either of the two arcs. I must say that the first one was probably even more intriguing even if I liked more the latter one. 7. Ending. +1. This time we actually have some kind of ending - yeah - open ending, but still I love the way this season ended. 9. Drama. +1. We actually got some drama unlike Season 1. I have to say that I expected from S1 the level of drama we got in Season 2 - but I guess it was purposely delayed, because this time I got a nice surprise, and I really don't see reason why this anime won't get a 10 now. 10. Overall feeling. +1. As you may have noticed I liked this season better compared to S1 in every aspect of this anime. Spice and Wolf finally got to the level of quality I expected because of the hypes I've got before even starting it. I really want to see Season 3, but it's hard for me to believe that it can get as good as Season 2 was. Bonus(extra) point for:... +1. I already gave enough points on this anime's spirit, but still I'm gonna give last score on my maybe most favorite part out of it - the merchant spirit. Every time Lawrence's deals are on stake, every time he's talking with another merchant... That's something great in my opinion ^__^. Overall score: 10/10. |

| Weak confessing and weak kiss, I'm so sad that they screwed up that scene... Well at least they are lovers finally. While I liked Holo being a lot more cute in season 2, I liked the first season more. The story about Fleur was not as exciting as the gold smuggling and the first half with the pyrite and Lawrance trying to win back Holo felt almost like the Endless Eight, it was dragged on far too long. I actually found some of the scenes between Holo and Lawrance the only thing that was better then it was in season 1 :/ As much as I would like to I can't give it the same score (9) as season 1. Therefore it's an 8 from me. Hope to see more, but mainly for the relationship between the two of them. The trade stuff should again be lowered just a bit more. Actually when I think about it I would be more than happy to see only episodes like the OVA :) |

| ECONOMICS, baby! I will leave this season a 1 point lower than the first since it focused more on the fictional romance aspect(albeit still a likeable tandem) rather than that essential and technical plot/theme they always discuss along the show, which I took as a college subject last semester... Once reaching the 3rd season, i hope they resume the "ECONOMICS, baby!" gimmick... S&W II is a 8/10...and this series adaptation up until now is a wonderful gem that should be recycled from the dustbin ^_^ |

| I really liked most of this season, but I feel the same as some of the other people. I hate saying this about a show I liked so much, but it just felt unresolved and I really felt like they wasted a lot of time on the mercantile aspects of the story and not enough on why Horo was acting the way she was, and on Lawrence responding to and resolving those feelings. It seemed like she was really worried and angry, and suddenly it just disappeared. It also somehow felt rushed without substantial content or story development, which is weird. Same thing with the character reactions...I just couldn't follow some of it. I still ended up giving the season a 9/10 overall, because the character's personalities and reactions didn't seem off until the last couple of episodes, and I was going to give it a 10 before them. |

| The ending was nice, but I still felt like it was missing something. Perhaps... more? (Yes, please.) I was so ready to give this season a 10 and even possibly add it to my favorites after the first arc. The whole duel with Amarty was so intense; I didn't know that medieval-style economics could be so captivating like this. Even the fact that Holo was absent for practically two episodes during this arc was excusable due to the quality of it. But then... the second arc happened. I was basically screaming at Lawrence (non-verbally of course, I'm not a madman) to just walk away from it with Holo. It was just a stupid situation for them to be in. I kept thinking that anyone who would buy Holo would surely at least make her take off her hood, discovering her wolf ears and then tail right quick. It was just dumb. And the fact that Lawrence was just going to leave Holo and all that... Of course I knew it wasn't going to actually happen, but it was still infuriating to watch it unfold. But, like I said, it ended rather nicely. I still enjoyed the show overall, and I definitely hope there'll be more in the future. Holo is awesome. |
| Wow, it took me 4 years to finish this anime LOL. I started when it first aired but never continued. Glad I finally finished it! The ending didn't really satisfy me. The money and price crash was really confusing to me...maybe it's because I know absolutely nothing about how the economy works lol. Holo is so cute when she blushes! 8/10 |
| Finally got around to seeing this anime I loved the first season, even considered giving it a 10/10. But I have to admit the second season was pretty disappointing. I did enjoy the Amanti Arc but I cannot for the life of me figure out what was up with Horo this time... She does things like blush when Lawrence kisses her on the hand, acts super possessive and jealous, and finally when Lawrence works up the nerve to confess and kiss her she literally has no reaction at all. I thought that was what Horo was waiting for?! She was also quite a coward this series wanting to run away from their relationship using some half-baked excuse. It left the impression that she doesn't feel all that much for Lawrence and that their partnership was mostly based relieving her own loneliness. Overall I think the pacing and character development got screwed up quite a bit. Which makes me sad because I really loved Craft and Horo as a couple and the medieval merchant fantasy setting was truly interesting. For that I'll give it an honorable 7/10 despite my disappointments. Eventually I'd like to read the light novel series to see how it compares - I think horo is such an amazing character they just messed things up unfortunately. - On a side note, it's kind of funny just how many people at the beginning of this thread seemed so sure that a third season was going to happen lol. It's too bad but I think we can officially give up hope on another season to redeem this series. |

| Second season was much better than the first, finally they kiss, it was a long time coming but it looked pretty weird lol. God i actually want a third season, the relationship between Holo and Lawrence is so enjoyable to watch, its so cute and unique in its own way. Had trouble deciding over a 8 or a 9 but ultimately had to give it a 9, there were too many things i liked about this season. 3rd season pls. |

| Nice ending, it was quite sweet the story was good devoloped through all the episodes and the plot was quite decent, I still would have liked a bit more devolopment in their relation but that ending was quite sweet, I can't really say if they actually kissed it looked more that they where quite close face to face but either way it was a nice scene! The first and second season are really quite some story, compact storyline and with a nice plot though I still feel there should be a third season! At least I hope there ever will be one! I quite enjoyed this anime and give it a global score of 9/10 for the whole story! |

| Someone here is seeing maoyuu maou yuusha? its an anime with the same director, music, and seiyuus from Spice and Wolf, the air feels a lot like S&W (it made me feels nostalgic) maybe we dont have a 3rd season yet (and maybe it never will come, perhaps... this serie give a little hope of it because its reviving S&W in the mind of the people who has already saw it) but its something at least, very look alike |

| Eh. Kinda mad. Ended it it mid arc, and they are still pulling the we aren't a couple but are basically a couple thing which pisses me off to no end. That and the kiss scene looked like something from a 6th graders notebook. Guess I'll give the LN's a shot. |

| This as well as the first series were an amazing series one of the rare gems that u find in the anime world that would make you remember it for the rest of your life I do feel somewhat disappointed mainly because the series ended in a semi conclusion they haven't reach there goals yet but at least they have officially become a couple there is just something about this series that makes u connect with it u know the characters are believable and lovable, the story is fascinating, the touch upon the economics, religion, war are really portrayed accurately to how they worked and interlinked with one another back during our own middle ages and even work in the same principals in today's modern life which is a rarity among all genres of entertainment to this day. Regarding for a third series there is always hope it will come even it has been a number of years since the last airing i know quiet a few series which had years in waiting between airing of more episodes in order for to be produced for example: Zero no Tsukaima f 4 years Rozen Maiden 6 years Tenchi muyo ryo ohki III 8 years Lupin the Third: Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna 27 years space battleship yamato 20 years So don't threat guys there is always a chance just keep hoping and a new series will come :) |

| Yes! A confession and kiss!! Although, frankly, the kiss was rather lackluster. I really liked the timing of the confession though. So the story ends just where it should - Lawrence who has only known the merchant life of gains and losses gives his chance (and dream) up to be with Holo and have love. The end scene where they walk away from the chaos hand in hand was very beautiful. While I did like this series a lot, I was a little disappointed and I can't point out exactly what it was. I think it was the timing of the events at the end but it just seemed a little off. I loved the characters but maybe it was just the anime adaptation that was like that. I'm definitely going to be reading the LN to compare. Still, the series is really great and I'm totally jealous of Holo and Lawrence's relationship. |

| It was a good ending but the story is still left open. Didn't feel like it was the end at all. I was happy to see that Lawrence didn't care about the money and he chose Holo. That proves that even for a merchant like him money is not everything. |

| Thought this was episode 1 since the uploader entitled it episode 1 on the site. Was confused throughout, didn't know what was happening, didn't know who the new blonde character was. Had no clue when Lawrence fell in love with Holo. Sigh...guess I spoiled myself of the ending. |
