| Sword Art Online had an amazing first 2 episodes, then the rest just went downhill. Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun had a really good first episode but the rest was a little disappointing after that, but the comedy was still good. Mirai Nikki just go watch it, it had me hooked on episode 1. Shingeki no Kyojin, this is my current obsession and has had me on edge since episode 1. |

| Yep, Death Note, Code Geass and in my opinion, Fullmetal Alchemist the original series had some strong first episodes that set the tone of the story and got me very interested as to what lay ahead. |
