| Yamazaki with blond hair looks ... odd. Okita, instead, had an expected development, looks a little more like Light Yagami and De Sade as an extended name matches up with him. It was good to have Shinpachi finding something in common with Hijikata as a sort of normal person in the new off the wall environment (as long as someone like Hijikata can be considered normal with his otaku persona and mayonnaise fetish as Shinpachi himself rightfully remembers to the audience) "i wasn't strong on merchandising" Madao as a singer would have been an interesting subplot "i wanted so much to eat a mayonnaise bowl with you..." "You never did, you always called it dog food!" And when they pulled off the harisens, i was hyped remembering funny ladies from other anime shows as Kaname Chidori, Arumi Asahina and Mai Ootsuka able to spread terror with it Perfect arc to begin the second series, even if it didn't last longer than two episodes |
