@iluvmozu I'll recomend you Romeo x Juliet. This anime fall in the categories of Historical, Drama and Fantasy. As you can imagine, adapt the Shakespeare history, but from an anime perspective, with its characteristic touches. Plus, the opening is wonderful!
I'm looking for a good sport anime or fantasy good plot :)

@iluvmozu Would love recommendations based on my favorites. Especially shows like Orb:On the Movements of the Earth, Tatami Galaxy, or Mononoke! I also really would love a show that feels like the end of The Land of Lustrous (manga)! One show that is worth checking out is Kingdom! It is a historical that focuses on the warring states of china in 200 BCE. It also has great drama over the rulers of the kingdoms and especially Qin. It also has a little fantasy with a ninja character and a man that wants to transcend humanity by becoming the greatest fighter. One downside is that the show starts a little boring and has horrible animation the first 2 seasons. But after that it is consistently peak! I would also recommend Mononoke. It is definitely not historical fiction, but does have a good mix of horror, fantasy, supernatural, and drama. The show focuses on a medicine sales man in the 14th century japan that stops a mix of mononoke(basically demons) by finding their truth, form and reason. The show has a fews short 2-3 episode arcs that each have a twist on the mononoke's reason for haunting things and what they are. Also the animation/art is beautiful.

@Byronlove9 It seems like our taste in anime is quite similar, so based on your favorites I'm guessing you like an interesting story with plot twists, some action and you don't mind older anime either. So here are my recommendations for you: Death Parade is thought provoking, has an interesting setting and a few plot twists along the line. It really is a unique experience. Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens has an interesting plot with interesting characters and a lot of action. I would say it's a bit similar to Banana Fish in some aspects. Seirei no Moribito is again a quite unique experience, with travel, quite some action, plotics and great characters. I hope you'll enjoy any of them if you decide to check them out :) ------ @Harisrox Since you liked Genius Party, I'll just let you know, there's a Genius Party BEYOND out there, if you'd like to check. Since you like sports anime and unique art styles, you might enjoy Dance Dance Danseur. And you may also like Saraiya Goyou for the art style and the slow storytelling with many plot twists throughout. I hope you'll enjoy :) ---- As for myself, I am open to romance or comedy I haven't watched yet. Or something you think is unique and should not miss from anyone's list :)

@AngelSaphire I watched A Silent Voice, and here are some options I think give similar vibes: Both Your Lie in April and Colorful have protagonists that struggle with inner turmoil and aren't mentally in the best of places. Both anime are tragic but also wholesome, and they make someone see life in a different light. Meanwhile, Dororo is a little bit different, it's more gruesome and has action, but given you liked Demon Slayer, I think you might like like it too. The thing that made me think of Dororo when you mentioned "A Silent Voice" is that the protagonist (Hyakkimaru) is under a curse so he starts with nothing (no vision, no sense of smell, no hearing, nothing) and he slowly has to get those things back (nothing of this is spoiler, btw, this is all on the synopse). So I established this connection between Hyakkimaru and Nishimiya, both having to navigate the world differently. Besides, Dororo is very wholesome too. If anyone wants to give me recommendations, I'm open to anything, but you can check my profile to get a sense of what I like the most if you want to.

If you like loner-type protagonists who are secretly smart, you might enjoy Ore Monogatari!! (My Love Story!!).
It’s a bit different in tone, but the main character Takeo is unique, kind-hearted, and way more capable than he looks.
Here’s the link: Ore Monogatari!!
I’m really into overpowered main characters, so if you know any anime with OP protagonists—even underrated or lesser-known ones—I’m totally open to suggestions. Anything I haven’t seen is perfect for me!

Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai (I Want To Eat Your Pancreas) is a movie about a high school boy who discovers his classmate is dying and decides to spend time with her making happy memories before she dies. 3. Takopii no Genzai (Takopi's Original Sin) is a 6 episode anime about an alien which lands on earth and meets a bullied child who he tries to make happy. Looking for anime that fall in the categories of: historical fiction, fantasy/supernatural and drama (bonus points if it's an anime with all of that combined!)
My recommendations:
If you're looking for psychological horror with gore elements Shiki
If you're looking for a short comedy that involves the yakuza Karaoke Iko
If you're looking for a historical setting with urban fantasy elements-and vampires-Vanitas no Karte

@iluvmozu I've got 2 animes that fit your criteria of historical fiction, fantasy/supernatural and drama combined. 1) Ookami to Koushinryou: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf In a Late Medieval European-inspired world, traveling merchant Kraft Lawrence meets Holo, the Wise Wolf as he navigates the world of market economics. Financial pressures and supernatural drama ensues. Romance included. 2) Gankutsuou The Count of Monte Cristo re-imagined in a retro futuristic setting of the French-themed moon city of Luna. Very unique artwork for an anime. The story is still based on the original with some added liberties for the anime.

@LoopyDoopy Loner but smart? Then Rascal Does not Dream of a Bunny Girl Senpai is for you. Although the Protagonist gets kinda popular later on You can also watch Makine. The proganist knows well how to handle tough situations. It's very comedic and enjoyable.
