| Such a good start, I honestly think a certain subsection of DB "fans" will just never be happy. They hate that Daima isn't DBS2, but hated on DBS the entire time it aired too. There's gonna be a lot of set up this ep...it's the first episode...almost all the complaints and criticisms I've seen have centered on this and feeling "slow", which is just utterly misguided, insane and bad faith take on a first episode. How can you ever expect them to tell a new story without setting it up...? I feel like it comes from those people who went in wanting to dislike it and tear it down, and it feels like they will always find something to complain about. I think any real fan giving Daima a fair shot is going to absolutely love this! The animation this episode was incredible and the whole thing was gorgeous, all the new designs look great and I'm excited to see the new story and what Tori cooked for us, R.I.P. the GOAT!!! |

| Kind of a silly premise but feels like a lot of fun. It was cool seeing Vegeta and Goku spar again. I miss Dragonball before they got blue hair lol so this was a nice thing to see. |

| Interesting So this is basically the canon version of GT, LOL (there also appear to be some slight changes of events compared to what they mentioned in Super) (also... did not expect Nameks to actually be originated from the Demon World... but I guess that makes a lot of sense... as "Demon Lord Piccolo"... lol) (but question remains... how... did the "outside" Nameks get there in the first place? seeing how they have to go through a portal (giant fish)...) . However... how the hell is this old Namek able to sense, gather and restore Dragon Balls from Earth... Especially since he "created" the Demon World's Dragonball and it's Protectors... why not just get the Demon World Dragonballs if you can actually control the Demon World's "dragon ball creator"... who should be able to control he's own creations (protectors)... This part... doesn't make sense... . Also, quite interesting this event timeline is canon, that explains the "missing years" most people were asking about when Super was released. (especially since the release was the Movie first, and it had a giant time skip) |

Ya seriously. It's really annoying as of now. The DBS Manga is 2 big arcs ahead and they are still not bringing the sequel

That didn't seem to be the case at all with Gohan in DBZ. 10-11 year old Gohan in Cell was clearly bigger and taller than 5-7 year old Gohan in Frieza. It sounded more like a cheap way to excuse themselves for not bothering to draw Goten and Trunks in the events of Super older than their infantile appearances in the events of Buu despite the fact that several years had already passed. Except they forgot that Gohan's evident growth in Z was never going to validate that. |

I thought of it as something wacky, but I didn't consider it that much of a big deal. Anyway, Dragon Ball Daima just added more details to said information, by specifying the age on which Saiyans' height rapidly increases. ;p |

| Really great first episode. Dragonball with high quality animation is such an amazing sight to see! So we're bringing back the adventure vibe of OG Dragonball, huh? The new king guy Gomah reminds me of Pilaf so he's a fitting villain lol. Also interesting that they retconned Namekians being from the demon realm now, as well as mentioning some "third eye". Perhaps Tien will be relevant again? I'm so excited for this adventure, and I wonder what kind of dragon the Demon Realm has with its Dragon Balls? |

| Man that buu saga recap at the beginning really makes me want to rewatch dragonball and Z. Its just so nostalgic. I also dig the asthetic of old dragonball. Something about the colours mixed with the detailed line work just flips a switch for me. Akira Toriyama really has a thing for turning his characters into kids? I guess at heart he was always more fond of making stories for kids. The animation surprised me, it was really good. After Super I was sort of worried. Crazy to think Super ended so long ago aswell by now. I did not know what to expect from this, but it seems to be decent enough! |

| I'm not a fan of recap episodes. Especially of a show that's been out for 20+years. Just about everyone that have seen Dragon Ball Z have seen the Buu saga. They already know about Saiyans, Freeza, Cell, and so forth. About 50-75% of the episode was a recap. Hardly any new story except for a new Demon Realm King obtaining the Earth's Dragon Ball's almost immediately. I'm still going to continue to watch it, but I feel like this is going to be another Dragon Ball GT (as a friend described). |

| Interesting premise. I’ve always wanted to explore more of the demon realm outside of the games. It’s cool to learn that Namibians are actually descendants of demons. I feel like there is a bit of a plot hole with the Potara defusing thing since it was explained in Super that mortals fusion isn’t permanent. (8/10) |
| It was amazing to see Dragon ball again. Love the animation that we're showing off now. Waaay better than the start of DBS. So bad quality. They're showing much more love and care to do on this series. One thing I don't like is that they changed the skin color of Supreme Kai and Kabito Kai. Retconning of them after Battle of God's event. But okay. It's whatever. Also, don't like when Krillin been with the gang for all his life knowing the kids but gotta ask trunks like "lol sooo.. how old are you again?? lol" Other than that, it's great. Can't wait for the story being explained. |
| dubbed only fam, it's good to see u I know a lot of people irl waiting for the dub too, I do feel bad at how long you'll all have to wait, really feels like a fumble and they should've had this a simuldub...especially if the rumours are true and isn't that long (in terms of total eps). hopefully there will be some more of us in the fanbase engaging with this series now anyway! I defo wanna rewatch dubbed too once it's all out! |

| At last time to watch Daima since the English Dub is fully out! Loving the artstyle, very reminiscent of the "Super Broly" movie, a lot better than what majority of DB Super brought (which was way too clean / bubbly) Animation is fantastic too, so many small movements that add so much to the fun of it. Story so far is really fun to watch, excited to learn more about the Demon Realm and the person that was spying on Gomah. Great stuff! |
