Great episode. But having Kyla be the one who eventually ends up being the only one trying to actually kill Gabi was FUCKING CRINGE. Way to ruin an emotional moment. Just turn who was the voice of reason last episode, a blonde little girl, into a cold blooded killer. What even in the fuck

???? that was the scene that made it even more emotional

also what do u expect her to do since before she didn't even know... she literally felt betrayed lmao
It completely killed it for me. Since when are little farm girls capable of killing. Have her try to punch or slap her not slit her throat wtf.

And she supposedly understood the conflicts. She tried to get them back to their homeland. Ultra terrible moment

That's the whole point. Kaja is a girl about the same age as Gabi. The whole reason she tried to help Gabi is to be like her hero, and Gabi is the one who killed her. She is the person who is most likely to feel the leat remorse and kill Gabi as she doesn't have to think about killing a young girl like Mr Braus/Jean/Niccolo.

The whole reason Kaja didn't blame them for her mum getting eaten was because they weren't the direct cause. This is different as Gabi is literally the direct cause.

I see what u mean but for me, it elevated the heat of the moment
Personally, I don't see anything wrong with the small child with their narrow way of thinking having emotions take over them and just proceed to take revenge, as opposed to the adults around her that took their time and understood the situation.

No way a sweet little farm girl can switch up like that. Idc that Sasha was the one who saved her and that Gabi being the killer made her rage. She was ready to kill which imo is just cringe

Sweet little farm girl???? Are we watching the same show? This 'little girl' still has PTSD from seeing her mum get slowly eaten alive in front of her, and is only able to push through life because she has her saviour 'sasha' to look up to. Now that Sasha is gone and Gabi killed her, ofcourse she's going to be enraged.

You're acting like this is some sheltered princess that's turned into a stone cold killer.

THIS EPISODE WAS GREAT!!!!!!!! i really enjoyed it, it was so intense and ahhhhh what on earth, zeke's plan is to make all the eldians drink his spinal fluid so he can kill them with titans???? wtf (and on top of that, the titans are the ones from connie's village) this show is weird af but it's so engaging i can't stop thinking about it and how it will continue

i was waiting for gabi to realise it was sasha she killed and for sasha's family to realise gabi is the one who killed sasha, and it was kind of touching (although i don't blame kaya for her reaction either lol) but poor falco, he's a good kid, i wish gabi would take a moment to listen to him sometimes

also FINALLY we saw levi <3 <3 <3

i've heard a lot about this table scene, looking forward to it next week! :) also can't wait to see levi beat the shit out of eren at some point (again) (i hope he does) :)

Where did that PTSD kick in last episode when a girl in front of her was ready to kill her. ye sike boy nothing in her personality or background warrants her to be able to stick a knife in a girl's throat, agree to disagree

Y'ALL ma boy Nicolo did what we all wanted to do to Gabi fucking finally!! but at what cost poor falco :(
I know that she was fed with lies since she was born but I believe that what happened today will shake some sense into her, hope she can change her perspective on the Eldians :/

I honestly was shocked when Eren just showed up like that like WTFFF!! Floch's expression took me off guard too :0

That escalated fast, Nicolo made the connection fast. Great episode.

Falco is too nice of a guy, he's always looking out for Gabi. Truth be told, I wonder what Gabi would do without him. I also wonder when or rather if Gabi will at all begin to adjust her perspective on the Paradis Eldians. It's very clear that Falco on some level understands that not everyone is just an evil devil and he acts on it and respects the compassion he was shown by Braus and co but Gabi still seems to have no respect for it, I'd love to see her change a little bit but knowing her I wonder if it'll ever happen.

Mr.Braus was really the bigger man there, in his own he's trying to end the cycle of hatred that's been going on years. Respect to him. :(

Eren showing up at the end was unexpected, he just waltzed in there like he owned the place. xD

I think you're missing the point, she has no reason to kill gabi at the moment in time. She's killed plenty of animals before this.

But yeah agree to disagree then.

It's one rollercoater of emotions after another... Now the truth is out on who killed Sasha and honestly expected Nicolo or Mr Braus to kill Gabi on the spot, but honestly... I can live with Mr Braus' reasoning.

So Zeke's spinal fluid in the wine, That is going to be a major disaster. Things are looking very grim right now.

Eren just walking in casually and sits at the table Armin and Mikasa were at. Whole episode was tense AF.

Another damn good episode, it's honestly surprising how much of an effect Sasha's death has had on the second half of this season. Before I used to think her character was more or less just a comic relief, but ironically in death I can't imagine the story without her now. It's led to many moments that have really drove home the themes of revenge, forgiveness, misplaced hate, etc. Everything from Niccolo freaking out to Mr. Braus choosing mercy was great stuff, and now I have hope for Gabi to change. Let's just hope Falco doesn't get killed before then trying to protect her.

Aaaaand the truth behind the wine comes out, guess that means everyone who drank those bottles are sleeping Titans. Next week looks like it'll be crazy, with the main trio finally talking and Levi getting into trouble in the forest. Here comes that scene of him in the trailer. Speaking of Levi, that shot of him with the reminiscing was really creative, with the flashbacks flashing across the trees. Also, while this episode still looked good I was surprised to see it had so many animation directors considering there wasn't much action. Is that a bad sign for the prospects of the last 3 episodes if they needed that many hands on deck for a dialogue episode?

And finally Eren decided to talk with Mikasa and Armin (& Gabi)...I'm just gonna say this for only this moment, FUCK YOU EREN AND YOUR EXTREME WAYS TO "SOLVE" THIS PROBLEM. Look I still don't know and I still can't understand the true motives and actions that are at play right now, but I just hate the fact that Eren pretty much shitted on our cast right now. Who knows maybe I'll change my mind later and be proven wrong next episode. But goddamn Eren is looking like the villain now for me, and it's bittersweet to know that.

What are you talking about? "Extreme ways" fucking Christ. The military wasn't listening to him and weren't gonna do anything as Marley declared war and gathered the world to attack Paradis.
So Eren acted himself to secure Zeke and buy them more time which lead to a massively successfull operation where they even got the Warhammer titan's power. In exchange they locked him up and were about to KILL him and pass on the power because they're too scared about not being able to control him. And only then he busted out of his cell and went to track down Zeke by himself. The military betrayed Eren, not the other way around. If just Levi, Hange and the other old survey corps members were on his side, this would look a lot like the season 3 part 1 coup against the old government. But they're just not because reasons which seem unclear and situational.

What even gives Zackly or Pixis the right to rule like dictators and make these decisions about everyone's lives? If it's the will of the people, they were keeping Eren locked up against popular opinion and were trying to kill him in secret without telling the public.
If it's because they were the most qualified for the job, then it was on them to form a coherent plan, present it to Eren and convince him that it's worth risking everything on. Which they clearly failed to do.
And finally if it's simply power, well then Eren just showed them who has the actual power and they can't complain. The people Eren is rebelling against have no moral authority whatsoever.

But I agree now. It didn't take me out of the experience, but for a young farm girl to leap to commit murder up and close is a stretch.

Best episode in quite a while, I fucking hate Gabi, but her arc is being handled very well, Eren is cooler and cooler with every passing episode, and I’ve suddenly become a Floch fan, I very much enjoy his villain smile. I hope Eren’s talk with Mikasa, Armin and Gabi next episode will be as good as his talk with Reiner, because this season has a pretty good chance of getting Aot its first 10/10 from me.

Marvelous episode, as always. The voiceacting was phenomenal, especially in the scene with Niccolo finding out that it was Gabi who killed Sasha, or in the scene with Niccolo confronting Sasha's family with that news. Kaya's desperate attack on Gabi was adapted brilliantly.

Eren's entrance could've been more epic (like looked slightly more significant; I'm not a guy who wants to hear You See Big Girl track in every good scene, lol), but it was alright.

The tension is rising and it will be rising in the next episode as well.

I think many people forget that both Kaya and Niccolo are very young and therefore more impulsive and hot-headed. Kaya is a very calm and understanding girl in general, just like we saw in episode 11, but we don’t have to forget that she’s still a kid who has gone through so much. It’s normal and more realistic that she has this kind of reaction imo

Heart skipped a beat when she (forgot her name already, girl that sasha saved) went flying at gabi with a knife. It was all tense with the dad holding the knife and giving his children of the forest speech, and then we slowly breathe out as he puts the knife down and he shows he has no intention of killing the girl who killed his daughter. And then boom out of nowhere crazy flying blonde chick with a knife with the intent to kill, holy shit. Don't remember that happening!

Good episode, stuff happening, niccolo's voice acting, and of course flochad. I'd just like to mention armin and mikasa for a bit. I kind of wish they were a bit more emotional regarding gabi, she killed one of their best friends after all. But I think it just goes to show that they've been through so much, that they understand what the nature of humanity is, and have accepted it. Still, wish they were just a BIT more angry, you know, instead of like being totally calm. Maybe it's because they knew gabi wasn't meaning to kill sasha specifically. She was aiming to get to eren, sasha was just the one who happened to catch the bullet. Although gabi DID see sasha on the rooftops, MAYBE she was aiming for her? Idk really.

So I really like the dad's children of the forest speech. It's deep, it makes sense. Although part of my dark self was kind of wishing for the typical "I'm a good guy I'm not going to kill them" not to happen, and instead for the dad to unleash full savagery and go for the kill instead. That's something you'd probably NOT expect, that'd be something dark and grim, and would totally fit in the overall tone. But no gabi gets to live another day, and I haven't actually finished the manga but obviously she probably has an integral role to play later, probably, so she need that plot armor doe.

The next eren confrontation next episode. Gonna be the climax of this season for me personally, topping declaration of war.

ok i just watched this episode and OMG so much happened and it was so good, i did not expect gabi and falco to be put in a situation where they meet everyone who loved sasha and then falco as usual protection gabi, god i just wished gabi died she's so annoying, at least nikolo punched her that was fun, and omg then eren's faction appears out of nowhere, this kinda confuses me i feel like the pacing is a little bit all over the place, i still dont really understand why eren formed a new faction, specially with zeke since it looked like he hated him, but god i just hope this unravels into something where just every marleyian dies, oh and levi, i wanna see him back in action!!! anyways the episode ended in a really freaking cool way, lets see what mikasa and armin are gonna say
