| I was hoping that Rito would take one for the team and give in to Mea's request, but noooo--he's back to normal after episode 10 so no slavering sex beast--just the usual kind, inhibited high schooler. Oh well, maybe that's what makes him so attractive to the potential harem members. This story arc does seem a little darker and more mature than the arcs in the original series so I'm looking forward to a second season sometme in the future. |

You don't understand the appeal of TLR. Generic and Annoying? If TLR was Generic it wouldnt be as popular as it is. There's more to it than you think. Darkness does indeed seem better. There's a serious plot, 3 specific significant character development and more. But that's because it's just more serious, or more cool to you. You have Moka on your avatar, I don't even understand why you would say that stuff about Lala/Haruna. Darkness Lala comes from the result of EVERY Event and Char.Devel. from TRL/Motto. Confession from Haruna, etc. It's all part of it. Don't give me any of that shit. Anyways: Went even better than expected. The expression of the voice and face together on Mea's face after hearing Tearju and Rito was just so good. Im really sad that there is only one more episode until this season is done... There just better be more! I'm already buying Japanese Version of the Manga, but I still need entire anime! |

| That was one sad reunion but well finally after so many years they reunited but damn that's some interesting development on Mea in the ending, I wonder what the last episode has to offer! |

| Uncensored version is out for eps 11/12. As usual loli-Mea got convenient censors (wish a studio that has no issue with loli ecchi had TLRD instead) but Celine sucking on Tearju wasn't off-screened like with Mikan on Yami. |

| Just on a quick rewatch of the first season of Darkness and once again I'm blown away by how well they've done this. While Rito does play an important part, all the intense action in this episode was between strong female characters--Tearju, Yami, Mea, Nana--each of them was important in carrying the story along. I came for the harem and the cute girls, but this is one hell of a story as well. |
