| Can't believe I started this anime yesterday. I should've done it long time ago and ignore the 'bleach obsessed' critics. This anime is epic and Luffy is definitely the most hilarious character ever. Naruto and Natsu are like his siblings. Haha. :3 |
| Humor aside (and the nut-cracking was pretty funny), I think Luffy's intelligence is pretty heavily understated by some. He seems to have excellent intuitive understanding of social situations; telling the truth isn't just about being honest: It also provides the townspeople with an outlet for their frustration. Buggy's problem from outset to end is his selfishness. He's similar to Luffy in ambition, but his reasons backing that ambition up are completely different, almost opposite in nature. This is the kind of pirate Luffy decidedly isn't- one who cares about only themselves and has no regard for others. It's the "proper behavior" for a "real pirate", which is why Buggy is vastly inferior to someone on the Grand Line like Shanks. |

| Episode 8: Luffy vs Buggy wasn't a fight at all it was just dialogue and alot more talk and the comedy, nothing more was to this fight if you could call it a fight lol :3 Nami helping Luffy beat Buggy (although he could probably have beaten him no sweat) I love the ending with the ending music it's moments like this that makes One Piece endings so great :3 |

| How Buggy ended up becoming a Devil Fruit user was as comical as it gets. It was his fault that he stuffed it in his mouth and accidentally swallowed it all out of shock after all. He might've lost 10 million Beli, but if it ended up in the sea, the water will just swallow the fruit and become one with it once again. Going for the body parts that were left behind by Buggy and subduing them in hilarious ways was a clever and simple strategy. Who knew that even when you detach from your lower half, you'd still feel the pain of getting hit in the balls while floating around. Because of Luffy's primitively blunt honesty, they had an angry mob after them but they managed to escape thanks to Shushu. The mayor bid them thanks and they left him 5 million Beli's worth of treasure much to Nami's dismay. |

| Buggy backstory. Okay, so the Devil fruits are incarnations of the sea devil which give you various powers if you eat them. Now the catch is that anyone who eats it will lose the ability to swim since the sea starts hating them since they have consumed parts of the sea devil. That makes a lot more sense than Shanks just saying "you'll lose the ability to swim" to Luffy. Lol that was a goofy fight. I still think they should have told the truth about them beating Buggy. Looks like the crew now has 3 members. Was that a potential new member in the end? |

| Buggy and Shanks backstory was hilarious... So that's why Buggy hate Shanks lol Chouchou MVP!! Luffy was so kind, he left Nami Treasure bag behind for the Mayor to fixed the destruction. |
