| Kon was actually better than Ichigo in this episode :D I would fall for him too~ Too bad Rukia erased her memory, though in the long run Kon could turn into second Ken xD Oh, teh omake <3 NO BANKAI~ I hope we'll learn the rest of the rules in next episodes. |

| I dunno what the problem most people have with the filler is. Especially when it's actually good filler like this. :) Kon needs to be in more eps, he's hilarious. And the story, aside from the fatso/love-blind chick romance was good. Seriously, if him saying basically, "I only keep you around for the food," isn't enough to make her see what's what, then she's hopeless. But Kon was actually pretty cool, and I love to listen to him talk. *lol* Poor Ichigo, Rukia was not pleased. ^^; And I have to find this omake. the episode I watched had it cut off before the credits. Apparently it's the best part of the episode. o: |

| I'm not sure what to make of this episode. It wasn't exactly morbid, nor was it exactly dumb. It was just...off...I'd like to make some comment about how that couple's relationship was absurd, but that felt more like the tip of the episode's strangeness. |

| I'm super tolerant of crappy filler, but even I found this episode pretty off-putting. There's just nothing funny about "my fat, lazy boyfriend who doesn't appreciate me and only cares about my cooking wants to break up, so I'll kill myself." Suicide for comedy is just never funny to me. For that matter neither is Kon in lecher mode and I was ultimately still left scratching my head about what the point of the episode was by the end. It almost had a poorly-executed but acceptable "you don't appreciate what you had until it's gone" moment in there, except that Ken learned nothing! He ran all over town looking for her, not because he missed her per se but because he, by his own admission, missed her cooking first and foremost. Screw that guy. I guess in the end all she really cared about was cooking for him, but it was still such flimsy logic. |

| I loved Kon's speech about the value of life! I believe that we people easily forget the great gift of life. It took me years to learn its value, and I carelessly endangered my life so often that it's a miracle I'm still alive. Even now, I have moments when I too easily say that I want to die whenever I find a situation unbearable. Hearing Kon shook me deep inside. It was like a reminder. I think that these people, who are more powerful spiritually and can see entities from immaterial worlds, have the purpose of maintaining a bond between the worlds. This becomes particularly important when we think of the close ones who died or restless souls who remained attached to the material world. If you think about it, all over the world, people have habits and rituals (and most of all, an inner call) to preserve their connections with those that passed away. |
