| As time went by, I really started to like K-On! more and more...except for Azusa. Azusa is absolutely useless and has the personality of a cardboard box. And the fact that the series' emotional climax is dependent on her is just tragic, considering the worthless tub of tapioca can't even carry a basic scene by herself, let alone the emotional climax of a 36-episode series. And the bizarre thing is that Azusa is the only character in the show with this problem--everyone else, even bit one-shot characters, has a definable personality with human traits. Azusa does not. Azusa is a human block of tofu, definable only by her association with everything else on the plate. |

| To be honest, not for me. Never is there a single character that makes a show unwatchable for me. At worst, it's an entire cast. Some like Shin Asuka from SEED Destiny and Naota from FLCL, in which the MC is so intolerable that an already bad cast is no longer as putrid and a large chunk of the disdain I have from those shows comes from them, do come close. Though both shows sucked ass regardless. zal said: To be fair, Re:Zero was terrible even without her inclusionRem from Re:Zero. |

He's not smart, he's not skilled, he's not brave--he is just able to make everyone think that he is. He puts a lot of stress on Simon because--AS HE EXPLICITLY TELLS YOKO AND THE AUDIENCE IN GREAT DETAIL HOW DID YOU MISS IT--Simon shines under pressure and is actually the one who manages to save the day, because Kamina admits his faults and outright says that the only worthwhile thing he can offer to anyone is moral support, because, again, he is charismatic, not smart or skilled or brave. All he can do is pretend to be those things to embolden the characters who actually are those things to take action. |

| Hey, a listing thread. Well then. The obvious choice would be Biba from Kabaneri, but I hate Kanetsugu from Masamune-kun's Revenge more, but alas, possible spoiler territory ahead for my reasons as to why. He's just a person that you just hate... he destroys everything the main character worked towards... but that itself doesn't make him a bad character - Dio from Jojo for example is how you do this right. It's the fact that in the end he's magically 'forgiven' for everything he's done, and the conflict isn't properly resolved. People say Masamune became bad once they introduced a harem element, Neko, to the story, but Kanetsugu made it worse. And also that MC from Orange. I can't remember her name, Just because of how... she didn't even try to do anything with vital information she was given, in the few episodes I watched. It was frankly frustrating, maybe her character changed later in the series, but I ended up dropping it at episode 3. And lastly, Kirito and Asuna's daughter from SAO. She just... didn't need to be there (or maybe actually the entire arc itself) and in fact, I'm not going to put in a spoiler as I assume everyone has seen SAO and those who haven't don't care, it's because of her that any sense of realism in the series dropped, when Kirito codes her into an item in like 10 seconds. A hyper-advanced AI, turned into an item, by coding the game from within the game itself. Yeah, sure. |

I don't think the show was garbage, but he t made me try watch other thing, and I was too lazy to come back |

| Mika Shimotsuki from Psycho-Pass 2. Other than that, no, a sole character has never been the reason I disliked an anime. Although they've definitely contributed to anime that were already bad and may have been the reason I dropped some. (For example, I didn't like Fuuka all that much from the beginning, but I probably would have stuck to the end if it weren't for the main characters). |

| Revy from Black Lagoon. The authors try way too hard to make her like a cool badass. It was like watching a typical action hero, just with boobs. Lucy from Elfenlied. Okay, I didn't like it overall, but she and the (imo) dumb-written splitted personality ruined everything for me. Both mcs from "Say I love you." I don't know. Their relationship was a cringefest to me. Same for Shuichi and Yuki from Gravitation. ^^" Usagi from Sailor Moon is kinda cute, but her and Mamoru's relationship isn't better than these and also very boring. That girl from Vampire Knight. Okay, all characters there. Heroine from Amnesia. She was too dumb to live and never stood up for herself against everyone of the abusive boys. That was a pain to watch. And other female characters like that. |

| 6. Subaru. Yes, Re:zero is trash enough as it is, and emilia and rem are just as bad (which is why Subaru isn't 1 in my list), but being the MC, subaru wins the contest for worst character. 5. Gon. I like HxH, definitely one of the best I've seen, but Gon is just a trash character. That scene where he stops the recording because he didn't care about his real mother made no sense either. 4. Karma. I don't dislike Karma inherently, but why the hell was he in the assassination classroom? He pretty much didn't have any flaws, which was the point of that 3-F class (was it 3-F?, cant remember). 3. Biba from Kabaneri, mentioned already. Do I have to say why? Kabaneri was good or at least decent until he showed up. It didn't need a human antagonist, totally ruined the show. 2. Shiro from UWB. 1. Black Star from Soul Eater. I was mostly liking soul eater, but that guy was just unbeareable, people complain about that Black Clover guy, but this guy was just as bad. Thank you, just thank you. -Kaiser- said: Touka from tokyo ghoul made me wanna guest star in one of Logan Paul's vlogs if ya catch my drift hmm, good, I give it a 7.8/10 |

| Shalltear and Albedo from Overlord, both make me wish we'd get less harem wars and more action. Hikari from Himouto Umaru-chan, she feels like a self insert. Croix from Little Witch Academia, cannot comment on this one without major spoilers. Hitomi from Madoka Magica, just everything about her makes me hate her. Rem from Re:Zero. Even though she cutes, watching the parts with just her and Subaru was a pain. If it wasn't for the bimonthly challenge I would've dropped it right there. I dropped it then gave it another shot. To be continued. Maybe. |
