| Usopp is the Kuwabara of One Piece I suppose. Comic relief, but good hearted, and making up for his lack of strength with willpower and loyalty. Always one of my favorite archetypes, and Usopp is both original and does it very well. I thought Zoro was my husbando, but it may be Usopp... And I also wanted to mention, no matter the reason for collecting money, Nami is a horrible person sometimes. She willingly knocked Zoro down and climbed over him to get her money, meanwhile he may be literally necessary for saving an entire town. And then she bashed Usopp's head in out of rage due to him offering to give the pirates her treasure that they were going to take anyway. She's more self interested than Bulma! Even if when it comes down to it she does do the right thing, that hardly matters if she kills villages in the process. I'm sure I'll warm up to her more as the series goes on, but right now her character is: self-interested money grabbing, says something about doing it for money, does something good in the last moments of trouble. Cons outweigh the pro's right now. For the record I'm not calling her a bad character, not everyone needs to be nice and likable, just calling her rather unexplored and only focused on her bad traits thus far. |

| Breaking the glasses Kaya got him, killing the sheep guy, and making a mess of the place just to look like an asshole is a really dumb thing to do when the plan hasn't even started yet. Now the team's late and his plan's falling into pieces lmao I'm surprised that Zoro wasn't the one that got lost on the way to the North Coast. At least they both managed to make it in time for Usopp so he wouldn't get any more hammer-related hemorrhaging. |

| Quite a lot of funny moments in this one. Firstly, Luffy just plain getting himself lost: "Straight North! Straight North! Straight North! Which way is north?!" Zoro not being able to climb up the slope for a long time because of the dumped oil on the pathway and I gotta hand it to Nami and Usopp they really did hold their own against the hired help that Captain Kuro has now. But what was awesome was the fact that Luffy and Zorro finally joined Usopp and kicked some serious ass on them. Otherwise this was a fun episode for me. |
