| Her father is nothing but a pedophile and it's crazy if she doesn't take nude pics he just takes everything from her. In real life he would be in prison for a long time. But other than that part it was a great episode. I'm guessing Rea is going to turn into a zombie soon since she said she wanted to die. |

| The most important part of this section of the story is something that DEEN left out of the anime - Chihiro's thoughts at the very end of chapter two as Rea goes back to her house. I wonder if this means that DEEN intends to change the focus of the story? I also wonder if the anime will reach the point where we are shown the details behind Rea's family and why things are as they are... It's too bad this isn't a longer series - it's a shame to have it rushed. Never-the-less, it's a great adaptation so far. |

At the end of the day, it's fictional. But it's too weak I didn't feel anything but disappointment. you forget the fact that she has already had other people disappear becuz she got close to them. she's smart enough to not want this relationship to disappear. and if you immediately just jump to the conclusion that this is fictional, than your missing out the whole point of entertainment from stories. besides, you'd be very surprised at how real her story can be, i've heard worse things happening in real life. |

| This series is starting to get better and better. The episodes do a good job of getting me hooked for the next weeks episode, and I f'ing love it! I'm curious to see how chirihou and rea's relationship will progress as it's blatantly obvious that she's become quite smitten with him, while he couldn't care less because, you know, she's not a zombie. Either way, it's looking like this series won't disappoint. |

While in real life, a lot of teenagers kill themselves for much sillier reasons, no make that grown-up adults doing stupid things then killing themselves. You seem to lack empathy. Regarding the Anime I think it will be very hard to depict the psyche of distraught teenager girl to please certain anime fans. I certainly have never expected this anime to be this heavy-handed but I don't think you should expect anything sophisticated and mature. Here I thought this anime coming from Dean was already miraculous enough. |

| Rea has such an aweful family. A possesive father who takes pictures of her (the creeper) and an ice cold mother who doesn't give a damn. Good thing she came te realize this isn't really a normal situation. That doesn't always happen in other series. She told her father bu of course he dind't really want to hear anything of it and blamed the influence of others. She made her only friend move and that friend blames her for it. So damn unfair! D: Pretty predictable he would found out about her sneaking out this time too. She just can't catch a break. In the end Babu did resurrect and Rea (tried to) take her life by drinking the poison she snuck out. Looking at the preview it didn't really work. Can't wait for the next episode now. |

| What the...Baabu, it worked?! I felt so sad about Sanka Rea's past. Everyone she came close to was just snuffed out like a candle due to her disgusting father, what an ass. I'm liking the MC more and more. He has the courage to not act like a beta and sweep Sanka off her feet (albeit aggressively). Quite refreshing from some of the male leads I've seen this spring. That last scene and the ED - goddamn the tears won't stop. Why not confide in Furuya first? It's worth a shot considering the chemistry. Maybe later then! So far, I love this show. Cannot wait until next week. |

| Loved this episode. Haven't read the manga so I don't know what happens, but at the end when she drank the potion I flipped out. That was definitely the point of no return for me, I'm hooked. And as stated above several times, the dad is the worst. Definitely hoping he has an unfortunate encounter with the undead. Can't wait for the next episode! |

| That is a sad life to live when your bound by your parents will without being free. This is why many teens suicide because the pressure is too high. But im glad i read the manga so i know whats gonna happen. But reviving babu was nice. Also her dad is a INCEST PEDO... holy .. |

| Rea's dad is just sick. It sort of reminds me of Mawaru. What is wrong with these adults. Seriously. =___= And I love Furuya's character. So... refreshing. Idk. At least compared to last season's guy leads. Can't wait to see the next episode! |

| I like cats. I like the undead. A Cat+Undead=Undead cat=fuckawesome. DEEN have outdid themselves so far in this Sankarea adaptation. I guess bad studios can produce good stuff too sometimes, just like with the Higurashi adaptations which I really liked (The first season, the second and Rei, not Kira obviously, which turned into a huge disappointment). You can feel the amount of care in the animation and I'm hearing that it sticks pretty close to the manga and even better in some areas. The voice actors are great, especially Rea's VA. I'm just hoping for enough episodes to flesh the story well, and DEEN, please, no anime original ending for this, give room to a second season. And that ending of the episode... 'It's raining'. |

I thought of sex with zombie, kisses and body parts all over the place. I thought there would be scenes where he would kis Rea and her tongue would stay in his mouth... But no... It is tragic and very sad, despite zombie theme, I would just take out fan service because so far it doesn't suit this sad anime. |

| Damn, Studio DEEN is doing a mighty fine job on the adaptation. I'm not kidding, I'm actually very impressed. What can I say, I fully enjoyed this episode. Everything's going well so far, I just hope the adaptation work doesn't trip somewhere along the way. |

| Great episode, great atmosphere, great story. I'm loving it so far. Hopefully they keep up this "sad" pace because it really fits. Like many else, I too reeeeeeally expected some sort of comedy in this show, but what's given is far better. Favorite show of the season so far. |

Regardless her Seiyuu left quite the impression on me with that one. |
