| A crazy final race with beautiful animation on top of it. I saw how they ended it. This is similar to what Yuri on Ice pulled. This was an idea that got enough steam to be made. WE should be happy it got this far. There won't be a season 2 of this show even though there should be one. Also I give it a 9 out of 10. |

| the show felt super flat. flat characters, no plot, no feelings. I would say its 2/10. 1 point for the opportunity to hear Dio's beautiful voice and 1 point for Adam's showy outfits. |

| HOnestly it was a great finale. Really loved the final part of the race. The soundtrack really added to the feels tbh. I am glad that reki shined in episode 11 and episode 12 was just as good. I dont get why so many people hated it though? |

| When I started watching this show, I wasn't expecting much. Skateboarding isn't my cup of tea. What made me give it a shot was Koyasu san being one of the main cast members. About 2 eps in, I began to love the vibe the show gave off. The way Reki & Langa interacted with each other was so adorable & fun to watch. And the ED was a perfect match. The skateboarding skills showed in the early eps were phenomenal, at least to me. The relationship between Adam & Tadashi was also quite intriguing. And I was super looking forward to their backstory & how their relationship was gonna end up to be. The turning point may be where Adam slapped Cherry Blossom with his skateboard. It all seemed to go down the unrealistic way. I can deal with sports being exaggerated in anime, but being upgraded to violence is a bit too much & unnecessary. The finale was quite rushed with a few details unresolved. It's a bit of a shame that the show had the potential to be a great one, but it underperformed since the midway. That being said, Adam was a very interesting character who you don't agree with what he did but still feel for him sometimes & really enjoy his screen time. Overall, I can still rate it 8/10 for all the enjoyment the show gave me. |

| Adam is one of the best villains I've seen in anime in a while! Amazing design, fascinating backstory, and absolutely incredible character development. This show is a freaking infinity/10 edit: oh damn I read some of the other posts on this forum looks like I'm the only one lmao. I related a little too hard to Adam's childhood. He needs good ol therapy |

| This could have been decent if it had sticked to the whole "Cute boys skating" thing that it had in the first half. Solid show until then, very fun. Dunno what happened in the second half, the whole cast basically got dropped, plot points would get mentioned and never resurface again and the whole political plot has to be one of the worst implemented sub-plots I've ever seen (The policewoman is even in the OP lol). Utsumi should really stop biting more than she can chew. She's not a bad director, but she's absolutely can't do drama or anything serious. |

| This ending felt rushed, even the final battle was underwhelming. You're better of watching the individual races on YT, they carry this show hard. 6/10 |
| I'm quite disappointed with the ending. The show started so strong, but ended so meh. As many have already stated, the cop lady's whole corruption side-story amounted to nothing and she was barely featured at all anyway. It could have been removed entirely and nothing would have changed. Our villain basically made it off scott-free, except that he now loves skateboarding again. I really wanted to see him get arrested at the end. Everybody else at least got a happy ending... except Shadow. I get that he was mostly there for comic relief, but the way they played off his last scene as just the butt end of a season-long joke kinda hurt. And unfortunately, Ainosuke's assistant seems to be incredibly pleased about continuing their toxic and abusive relationship until the day they die, which is just totally okay now because Aisnosuke loves skateboarding again and has obviously changed his whole life overnight because of it. I much preferred the earlier, more grounded episodes of the show. I thought they were great. But the more ridiculous the show got, the dumber it got. I was still entertained by how flashy and ridiculous it was and of course the slick skating animation, which all counts for something, but I can't say I thought an episode was "good" since somewhere around the half-way point. Oh well. Can't win them all, I guess. 5/10 |
| I never got that much into this type of anime but this is one of the ones I really enjoy. and it was an awesome ride I Really hope it gets a season 2 and they did shadow dirty While every other character got a good ending, my boy Shadow is the only guy with a bad ending. Overall for the whole anime 7 out of 10 great anime |

| Reki should've won at least once.... Also, honestly, I feel like Tadashi fighting ADAM in the finals would be better. Well, at least they're together now, in their own BDSM way so good for them ig. This show was just missed opportunities all over. |

| Damn, this was quite the finale for the series! Langa v Adam certainly lived up to the hype and beyond. How cool that Adam went as far as to prepare a new track for the contest and the scenes in the zone were pretty chilling. Good thing Reki's little message snapped Langa out of that though. And likewise for Langa to Adam. Lol, Adam crashing into Langa's party and Langa nonchalant about it was gold. Sad to see that Shadow's interest has found her significant other. But on the bright side, I suppose this could fuel his game. I wonder what was said between Miya and his classmate though. After credit scene, that's probably the best way to sign off so no qualms from me on that end. Story-wise, the whole point of the show wasn't really that at all. Likewise for the Character Development field, it was so-so and Adam an interesting enigma for the most bit but an underwhelming antagonist in the end. Reki's struggle to find a place for himself given Langa's pure talent was kind of aggravating as well, to say the least. On the departments that did matter however, i.e. Sound Department and the Art/Animation Quality, Studio Bones nailed it! To be honest, I found the series to be pretty good but to come out No. 1 in the BD/DVD sales ranking in Japan, that ... is a little tough to digest. But well, to each their own. 7/10 from me. |

| This anime had a strong start but as episodes progressed some events were kinda meh especially those involving ADAM who really came off as a cringy villain with issues. Bit cliché but I quite liked the developments in Reki and Langa's friendship and also seeing the crazy cool skate tricks they all did. |

| I really enjoyed this final episode, and I'm gonna miss watching this :'). I pray there's a season 2. I also have to agree with other comments, I don't think Adam got what he deserved. He skated dirty and did dirty business with no consequences to him in the end. Other than that it was a really great ending! |

I don't disagree that everyone else was doing illegal stuff, but Adam just seemed to go tooo far. I also agree that Shadow also skated dirty but Adams and Shadow's intent was different. Yes, they both did dirty tricks to win, but Adams was more harmful and dangerous (and he didn't care if they wound up in the hospital or not). |

| Extremely corny, but cute ending. And to my surprise, it didn't turn to yaoi in the end lol. It was a decent show, but nothing too special, in my opinion. I'd watch a second season though if it's gonna be announced at some point. 5/10 |

| Me at the start of the episode: Wow, so dramatic~ I loved how they made Adam's shadow look on the floor, all twisted and creepy. When he walked into the tailor shop, I thought he said funeral...and I was right! It was such a scary theme...his grim reaper type of outfit and the ominous stage X) (I did love his outfit and skateboard). I was hella worried for Langa. It was cool he managed to stay safe, and even imagine his dad :') And finally, the mask fell off of Adam, and Langa got through to him. I am so happy for the hug between Reki and Langa...I wanted that so bad because that's what I would have done too XD flying hug~ Group hug was cute too. And seriously, my thoughts and feelings on Adam were a roller coaster X) Love/hate relationship X) I'm glad he ditched that corrupt member, protected himself and his friend...And that blush/happy look from Takano when Adam said he's his dog for the rest of their lives..haha *screams* XD He was going to let him take the fall before though right? And I wish I could have seen the reaction from those nagging old women >:) I hope he tells them to F off whenever they try to tell him what to do. The party scene was cute X) The little doggy sleeping on Carla. And then Langa took a bite of his burger even when Adam was crashing in. Haha that glutton XD Overall, I loved this show ^^ Very awesome. So happy Reki and Langa are skating together again. (And I wonder what Miya's friend said to him in the hallway..maybe that he was cool in S/to skate together some time? Who knows.) (I know this is mean but..laughs at Shadow..I do feel bad for him though.) |
| Adam: *Tippity-tappity-tapdance-riverdance-salsa* Pretty sure Adam at the beginning says "it's not, it's a...[funeral]." Then shows up as the grim reaper of skating with a dope ass bone mask, coffin-shaped board and sick costume. The purple and blue effects with that music of the beef was SO INTENSE! That was AWESOME! It was perfect how Langa got in the zone, lost sight of everything then remembered. The flashbacks were perfectly timed. Then, after when it showed Adam all alone it was pretty brilliant. Langa was so sweet to Adam. Great ending. Can't wait for more. |

| Great series, friendship will see through to the end but those homo plot were wickedly annoying. The red haired-girl-investigator is just a mob character, they ignored what they introduced, huh... I've seen a lot of things that can be considered as yaoi but I'm glad we didn't get any conclusions and only friendship matters the most. This series made my imagination run wild while they're skating, this also made me realise that skating is fun depending on your friends A bit disappointed but overall 7~8/10. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| Loved this show so much omg. It's so fun and over-the-top like there's literally a skater who relies on AI to calculate shit and help him win beefs and the audience see nothing wrong with that. Not that it would look out of place in the series' setting anyway considering we literally have some ballroom dancing freak who just straight up bashes people's heads with a fucking skateboard who happens to be a big time politician that's been bribing the police and keeping illegal underground skating rings cause he's just bored like that. I really lost each time they start sword-fighting with their skateboards and every skateboard-bashing scene like it was so funny and brutal in the most entertaining way possible. Had a really great time watching the entire thing. Reki and Langa had a really good and cute dynamic. The chemistry was undeniable and felt natural. They could pass as actual real life friends to me idk. Especially loved how they handled Reki's insecurities of being surrounded by a lot of geniuses in tandem with a prodigy who's just discovering to have fun again after he lost that spark. Great development for the both of them and who doesn't love some angst in their little yaoi show. Crisp animation, great art and sound and especially pretty boys! What's not to love really. Oh wait about that redhead woman... what was even the point of that little political side story? lol I'll give it a solid 7.5/10. Can't wait for the OVA and second season. |
