What is this midget waitting for? He'll never get another girl like that.
Possible reasons

1) Not everyone wants a relationship.

2) Maybe he's just not into her romantically - you can't force love.

And the President isn't the easiest person to .. get along with oddly she might be the hardest (Usually one might place a mind reader as harder but in this series I think I actually have her as the hardest ) she seems to even be able to hide her thoughts to some degree - and then use them for gain (not just teasing like our mentally perverted treasure lol) but for personal gain - [not sure where I really stand with her is she REALLY a friend or more like a Friend who wouldnt be there if there was nothing to gain. - If so Moritani even though many seem to hate her (I admit to calling her a bitch for what she did she was) but if the President really is that cold shes surpasses moritani easily. ]

But perhaps hes waiting for her to sort this entire thing out the younger him was much different then how he acts now also.

I'm kinda happy for Kotoura, atleast she had a normal day without reading the mind of other people.. the ending was very cliffhanger.

Their date was very sweet.

That ending really caught me by surprise though. Really loud, blew my damn ears. And I hate when they take away the pupils and make the eyes really big and white.

Shits creepy.

Am I the only one who is really annoyed when this show is perverted? It's just bad, pure bad.
I've been posting in prior episode forums how I wish Manabe would tone down some...
All the perversion is only in the thought. And I am sure if you are able to look into private thoughts of people, you may be surprised to see how often you find perverted thoughts in people. Of course Manabe is exceptional in having vivid imagination with just a small enticement, but at least we never see him acting as a pervert. In fact I would say that he may actually hesitate to act like one even if he is given the chance.

Manabe is a contradiction.. He thinks perverted thoughts but when given the chance he couldn't act on them. I think his perversions are a bit over the top but I don't mind mainly because he's a harmless character. He genuinely cares for Kotoura which I find a redeeming quality that overshadows his perverted tendencies. Plus he's probably a virgin and in that frustrated phase where hormones overpower every other thought.

Contradiction. Not at all. His a school boy. The cowardliness to act when a chance appears is very normal for a boy his age since his inexperience in sexual matters makes him a little afraid despite his lust. Also since his a decent person he doesn't actually want to do anything that will hurt Kotoura's feelings. But imagination is something that can't be helped. That's typical for many boys who have some decency on them.

You won't get an argument from me regarding what goes on in a guy's head regarding women. I fully admit I spend a considerable amount of time thinking about having sex with women, real or animated (and I've slowed down since I was a teen 35 years ago - sucks getting old).

I'm simply objecting to how strongly it's presented here. It's the difference between listening to your favorite heavy metal at 90db versus 125db

I can't even begin to understand how the male mind works, but they say men think about sex every seven seconds. If that is true then wouldn't that make Manabe normal?

A little more complicated than that i guess. Yes guys think sexual stuff all the time but i guess it's not exactly like that. Men can not think anything sexy or erotic for hours but can also think a tone of it when something even slightly arouses them so i guess it depends if something brings out those thoughts. I guess Manabe is excused because those are the times that his with the girls his crazy about so it's normal. If the anime showed him at his home doing other stuff then maybe you could see he doesn't think anything perverted for hours.
Men have 10 times more testosterone than a woman so girls should understand that men actually have a lot more hormonic lust and are quite good at keeping control of themselves considering. Perverted thoughts ain't anything bad, it's just a way to blow steam i guess and don't really show intentions. Sometimes people just like to think stuff for the hell of it.

Personally i believe Kotoura's power can be a lot more dangerous to her mental health because thoughts can be very deceiving and when you hear them you can form quite a wrong image of a person instead of actually forming a more complete image. People think many crazy thinks that don't even express their true feelings or intentions.
For example i can remember thinking about a girl i actually liked "damn she's annoying". But the thought was nothing but a passing thought of something small while my real feelings was that i didn't actually care about that small annoying thing she just did.
If she could read my mind though she could form the the opinion that i actually found her annoying while in reality not. Superficial thoughts can be very deceiving because our mind isn't just thoughts that pop-up but also our deep feelings about things that aren't even thoughts and can't be read.

So after being forgiven ridiculously easily in ep 4, Moritani changes her character entirely. Seriously, she went from massive bitch to butt monkey pretty much immediately. The change made no sense whatsoever from a writing perspective, but it's mitigated somewhat by the fact Manabe (justifiably) continued to troll her. She feeds him her shitty food, he shoves the rest down her throat. Stuff like that. You don't see that kind of thing often enough in anime. So I could enjoy it despite it making no sense.

But then she half reverts back to her bitchy self this episode, beating the shit out of Manabe twice with very flimsy reasoning. Her entire character is just the dumbest thing. Tsunderes are bi-polar as it is. But she seems bi-polar on an entirely different level. It would be the equivalent of Manabe randomly changing to an indifferent, stoic character from ep 5 onwards.

Yes it does make sense if you would to stop and think about it for a bit. Let's go back to Episode 3:

When Haruka had heard that Yoshihisa was sent to the hospital due to "an accident", she sees Hiyori wrecked and writhing in guilt for sending her dojo mates to attack him on the pretense that he was stalking her. Why does Haruka choose to forgive? Two reasons: one Practical and the other Personal, and the show left its viewers to figure out both of them, but just the Personal reason will do here:

Had Haruka pressed for justice, she would have used her telepathy to hurt someone which is exactly what people accuse her of already; she would have become the monster everyone says she is. Hiyori is already guilt ridden because this plan spiraled out of her intended proportions due to one simple question: would you go easy on someone who was stalking on somebody you care about? Hiyori didn't think that through, but Haruka sure did!

By forgiving Hiyori for her jealous behavior, Haruka proves that she is above these accusations and is capable of understanding people on the most personal levels, something true monsters can never do. This is what allows Hiyori to understand that she was being the real monster all along and eventually accept that Haruka deserves having Yoshihisa more.

Really? Can you give her a break? This was meant to be a simple reaction and not a lasting impression like her little stunts in the very beginning of the show. Also, that hypothetical comparison is a ludicrous thought to begin with. Yoshihisa is comfortable with who he is, and his personality doesn't need change at all. Hiyori still has her bad habits too, but her character did change for the reason explained above.

At first it seems the latest episode with the usual canons seen in previous stories, but in hindsight it is not.
Narrative that manages to combine great comedy and serious moments, with a bonus at the end of episode pretty good.
Drawings and animations discrete, the plot reveals small part in his intentions, I am satisfied on the whole of this episode.

Wow that final scene after the credits... if you think about it she can’t choose who’s mind she can’t read... I can’t wait to see next episode for some answers...

On a side note:
Man, I know the first episode showed why but I still can’t fathom how a caring mother turned against her child like that.

Well, Haruka didn't really want her powers in the first place.. So she's fine with them gone.. But also she was getting life with them being there as well, so maybe would be fine to continue having them as well.. Or who knows..

after credits scene is still scary even if in the previews Kotoura seems to have returned fine.

Come on, nobody did predict that Manabe's gift to her seemed a little too pure? Luckily she replaced the questionable content with a better one during the "not a date". Still, even without disliking him, i would have enjoyed to see Moritani's attacks on him when it was discovered how his perverted thoughts from before weren't detected.
