| They cut a lot of stuff from the manga and still have the nerve to put 3 min of recap, I've seen that the direction will continue to suck, they should have made it for 64 eps and not for 52. |

| Goddamn, it looks freaking spectacular. Byakuya's blade particles were just gorgeous and I can say the same about Quincies' abilites. I've had shivers down my spine when that remastered version of "On the precipice of defeat" with violin played. These week-long waits are cruel. |
| 3.5/5 Easily the best episode so far with the non-stop intense action sequences paired with absolutely sublime old school Bleach osts. The invasion has begun with blood splatters everywhere and no sign of that stopping anytime soon. All the captains are engaged, injured, even defeated now that some of them had their bankai stolen. Ichigo, like always, seem to be the only one immune to the Quincy's diabolical plans...go figure. Animation wise, some fight sequences were good but again, nothing too flashy or fluid. I do love the use of different colors in the show so far. The directing was not too impressive as the pair up sequences felt too urgent or abrupt but that's just some minor nit-pick. Overall, a very satisfactory episode. Time for some Kenpachi & Rukia shine |

| man Bleach manga chapters were so short, a single episode can adapt 5 of them an still have some time to waste on a recap still good episode, though i hope a few fights get some extended scenes |

| I feel like we didn't need a recap after only three episodes, but alright. Crazy that 4 Captains knew about the Bankai issue and were like, "Fuck it." Between that, and many of the foot soldier Soul Reapers outright fleeing, no wonder the Quincys absolutely wrecked the initially invasion. |

| Why the recap? We are talking about a finished manga here. What the heck. Guess they decide to MILK this return as much as they can.... Other than that it was an okay episode with some very cool shots. It's worrying that we are getting so many off-model faces this early but the special effects are spot on. |
| Quilge was such a good introduction to the Stern Ritters. He had now achieved his goal, and Ichigo will feel the despair of being trapped without having the ability to save his friends, and the dying soul reapers. As Nodt as well, that chad didn't pronounced a single word. God dammit I was waiting for it, but oh well. From the next episode title, I guess we can expect to see something really cool. Chojiro was the one talking in the outro, and now that we know Quincies steal bankais, we will likely see his bankai being used by the one who stoled it. |

| That was honestly a stupid move by byakuya. he shouldve just let renji use the bankai. Ichigo is trapped in the void now. I like that development. It is no fun if he reaches soul society right away. Also, they are seriously outnumbered. It's better to wait until some outside help arrives. |
