| Finally that was a cheerful episode with Elaina teaching students how to use magic properly. She could also meet her former teacher, Flan. In fact, this episode kind of remind of Harry Potter series (there were a few similar things like Magic Academy). |

| The tone of this show is inconsistent. There's nothing wrong with the style of this episode versus the last, but you can see in this thread that a lot of people like one or the other. It'd be one thing if the beginning had one tone versus the rest, but if it's going to bounce back and forth then I don't know if anyone will be happy. I think fluffier slice of life mixed with tragic fairy tales could work, but it has to be mixed better. |

| comfy episode after 2 tragic/sad one's. elena meeting her teachers again, training going on and that fish kek. they froze the poor dude then unfroze him repeatedly the fish was like BRUH.........  |
| It's nice to see Elaina meeting up with her mentor Fran after all these years of traveling alone, it was a nice stop. It's also nice seeing Elaina teach with Fran and having a fun time at it. That was a nice heartwarming parting gift from Fran and all the students. |

| Not a bad episode at all. Always great to see Elaina defeating everyone effortlessly, even when there is an entire group of more than a dozen of older students. Fran-sensei's reappearance was also quite heartwarming. Too bad people turned her manuscript into a book without even asking her. That poor fish, though. |

| So the nice and sweet chapter type is back. I don´t complain about the last two chapters, but it should be this way, I think it´s more suitable to this series. Nice chapter, all those students were nice characters, especially that dumb blue-haired one. Hope they appear again somewhere. Also Fran came back and seems to have a nice image of her. That last 15 seconds showed Fran being recognised a lot, and also having her statue, like a San Martín from the world of witches. But even stranger were all that dolls in that shopping cart with the image of her and... Elaina??? Also that brown haired one could be a wink to that shy and nervous student? Confusing but nice to expect. 5/5 chapter, the show went back on track. Ishitateso said: I won't read through all the comments so it might have been mentioned but it seems like the most interesting thing this episode revealed in an indirect way was that Eleina's mother is the witch about whom her daughter had read so much in her favourite book Niké's adventures and she was also the person who had teached Fran, which made sense of why she had asked her in the first episode to help Eleina. | Finally, a chill episode! Even though i was always expecting for something to happen xD Great to see Fran again, and all those students. It was truly a great episode, i do wish she stayed there, there is no need for more sad episodes xD Lmao, so that country that she visited made merchandise and sold Fran's book xD |

| Now it's back to the wholesome one, and Elaina reunited with Fran was the best, that guy that is trying to be cool was the best one lol. And the new characters was pretty cute ngl, and Elaina is back to the dark story again(I hope no more dark one). |

| A little more stagnate episode as compared to the last few, but it was a much needed break from the last two episodes, which were more serious and depressing as a whole. Definitely enjoying the series as it continues to develop, but I am hoping for a little bit more worldbuilding, we are not getting that much which is a little disappointing to me. The story is definitely reminiscent of something like The Travels of Marco Polo, where there are wildly varying parts with respect to the narrative, which is totally fine, but sometimes it has felt a little jarring with these big jumps. |

| I'm sure Nike is Elaina's mother and Foula is Fran, it was so obvious just from the art in the book and the fact that Fran mentioned Elaina been inspired by her mother. casual episode with bit of a reunion feeling good enough to enjoy it. |

| This was the best episode yet. Like wow why isnt this the last episode? It was really conclusive, fun and enjoyable. That ending was a great way to end the series if they chose to. Meeting her old master, having fun in a new country, getting asked questions about her journey and parting ways excited on where to go next. Perfect ending episode material. Honestly I kind of wished every episode in this series was like this. You know, the bait the series is of a happy wholesome witch slice of life anime XD. I know people like the more seriousness of it but this series is so well fit to be that wholesome series that it sucks that they go down darker paths but oh well. I really hope they have some more episodes like this to offset the darker episodes they introduce. (Especially since Ive heard about episode 9 and how dark they're willing to go) But yeah just this episode in itself was a solid 9/10 I loved it. |

| Yehey! A Wholesome episode this time! Or maybe it's in preparation for a very dark episode in the future haha. It was nice seeing Fran sensei and see her and Elaina just catch up with each other,Elaina teaching the students and her being interested and happy with them showed really nice interaction. Also the farewell given to Elaina was a pleasant scene Lesson from my perspective: Don't forget to enjoy the little moments with people who mean a lot to you :D I'm curious on what the next episode will be about but other than that , a nice and relaxing episode. |

| What a lovely episode! Elaina teaming up with Fran to teach some students and have a bit of fun. I think Elaina is a bit afraid of making connections with people because she knows they have to part eventually, and that would make her sad. It looks like Fran correctly guessed this, and that's why she had the students send Elaina off like that — so she can see them as not just students, but friends as well. Flowers and butterflies, imo, perfectly represent the nature of how Elaina goes about with her journey. Flowers don't usually last long, usually 1-2 weeks in perfect scenarios, which is akin to Elaina's normally short stays in each country she visits. Butterflies don't usually stick around to one area or specific location and never have an actual nest or hive like ants or bees to return to (especially the migratory species, whom will only return to their birthplace to fulfill the end of their lives for the next generation). This is sorta parallel to the "wandering" and transient nature of how Elaina travels. Maybe I'm looking too deep into this, but I personally felt like these were some great nuanced details to this already amazing series. Nicely spotted :) |

| Weakest episode to be honest , too childish and pretty cliche.Lighthearted episode was nice for some , but I'd prefer more dark episodes. Was it even that long in original?It feels like they try to make the story more casual in adaptation. The only interest part of the episode is some symbolism and a hint about Elaina's mother being Nike while Fran is her student that started travelling inspired by her. Male students acting like degenerates and females having a crush on Elaina once again hehe |

| After the last two episodes leaving a sad aftertaste, I'm glad to see an uplifting episode again. With the implications throughout the episode its interesting to learn the mother is Nike and Fran is Foula from the book that inspired Elaina. |

| So... this episode is basically a sort of "flashback". And Elaina's mom is basically the MC of the book she read when she was a little girl. A fairly good episode, tho I still have no idea of the timeline Elaina is in due to the constantly time skip and flashbacks, lol. Best part of this episode is Fran being in it. (she's a pretty nice witch and a good mentor/ sensei) |

If you want someone to follow you - you need to try talking to the person first, not freaking catch her.. ;D Well, it was Flan's lesson, after all.. ;P Well, not often you'll see Elaina smiling like this doing some stuff together with others.. Usually she's more observing, I guess.. I remember her smiling before to things like food or stuff.. But with people - not so often.. Well, then again - some really strange people she met in the recent episodes.. With who you need to be weary, really, what Elaina and did.. |

| I like this change of pace from the disturbing episodes they used to air we now get to see how Elaina can handle these bunch of students Well I'll be damned if it isn't Miss Fran a surprise to be sure but a welcome one, Finally an episode dedicated to their reunion What a wholesome episode to watch just casually teaching at the sides helping Miss Fran in any chance I do hope Elaina enjoyed her stay in the country, while she's off I hope they get to reunite once again. |

| Another too bland episode for my taste. The most strange thing in I found in this episode is the talk with her mentor. I feel that's something they'd have talked out in the entire year they spent together before. Anyway, this is as far as I go, I'm dropping this. |
