Wtf, I wish I had Hondomachi’s guts to do that. The Perforator is a smart guy, he even escaped with Hondomachi, but he’s totally broken, as we could see through his well, everything upside down. I mentioned Hondomachi’s self-drill? what a girl. There’s a background for Sakaido, his daughter and the assassin behind it, also, John Walker’s entity is very strange, someone fueling serial killer’s desire to kill. The animation is good and the ost is awesome, this story is really intriguing, especially by the basis the show established.

This episode was more understandable than the previous one.

I hope that John Walker doesn't end up being the Chief lol.

All weebs creatures of the galaxy, hear this message. Those of you who listen will not be struck by western animation. You will no longer know hunger, nor pain. Your Anime have come to lead you now. Our strength shall serve as a luminous sun toward which all intelligence may blossom. And the impervious shelter beneath which you will prosper. However, for those who refuse our offer and cling to their western animation ways… For you, there will be great wrath.

I'm having a bit of trouble liking this show right now. It has an interesting premise and an adequate pacing, but I just cannot seem to relate to any of the characters, especially Sakaido. I find no reason to care about them. Sure, I admit I'm not the biggest fan of these kinds of stories, but I thought I could step outside my comfort zone and I find something new to watch, but it seems this show failed to deliver anything worthwhile.

Hmmm. I think the little girl won't be okay. The one who smashed her head on the drill.

My bet is that now she will be controlled by that John dude thanks to this interaction...

I hope to be wrong.

Interesting and complex, got to learn about sakaido in the real world. Is he a criminal who works for the agency? Not too sure.

Hmm... those pictures on Sakaido's cell wall... they look a lot like Hondomachi. Is she his daughter? So maybe the Muku his superior was referring to was his wife. His backstory makes me so curious...

Awesome, slightly unsettling show. It's so unique and refreshing. I've never seen something like this. I'm totally confused by how people come up with such ideas.

Drilling holes in heads. That's brutal stuff.

Was a little surprised to see the treatment Sakaido is getting in the real world. It's like he's being confined or something. Didn't expect that.

Edit: Okay that makes sense. I didn't read the synopsis so I was out of the loop for a bit.

Chief Hayaseura suspiciously resembles the John walker dude with the white hair and ponytail, maybe I'm just looking into it too much as this seems way too obvious.

Didn't expect Hondomachi to move into the drill, must have been a pain in the head

Damn, that episode answered a bunch of questions of mine but, with it new questions arose. Very interesting premise with a great execution I might say. I am sure Fukuda still has a role to play and the op and ed is pretty good looking forward for more.

Actually, those kid was not die! I was surprised, this show concluded everything in a simple manner rather than the first one that decided to use a hectic theme. The twist served better. I am appreciated. Still, there was some mystery to wrapped up in the next episode. Especially with the mystery of the John Walker, Sakaido real self in the real world, and Mizuhanome system at general. Honestly, those system was so great that could manipulate the ID well into showing up the real world condition by absorbed the cognition particle from the culprit, even in the real time too! Sci-fi was not my thing at all, so it had a little affection. So, i might be taking up that as an okay attempt, for now.

I love mystery shows but this 20 minute episode felt like it went an hour. And I took a small break too after seeing the first episode. I feel like the actual case and villain let me down here, again I like the mental world and how its being presented but the storyline for these two episodes just bored me. I was way more interested in the first couple minutes of the first episode when Sakaido was trying to figure out where he was, what happened to him, how to fix his body back, and what is going on there and what to solve. All of those little questions were answered quickly in the first few minutes of the show but I found those to be nice to watch, but the story itself was a snoozefest for me. Cast still meh too.

This sadly may not be a Great Pretender situation where I dislike a show initially but like it 100x more after rewatching it. ID:Invaded has felt the same for me, if not a tad worse of how I felt when seeing it the first time. A cool, unique concept that's interesting for the first few minutes but once adjusted to the world itself and trying to comprehend what's actually happening with the case, it falls down to earth really quickly.

The imagery of suicide to avoid getting drilled was perfect.

I like the idea that there is a mystery dead girl and a mystery person inciting people to kill. It's when you add to your fantasy idea that things become interesting. Lesser stories would stop at the idea of investigating via killing intent since that's good enough for a story, but the great ones add to it.

This is very complex and deep at the same time. Going into someone's mind gives me so many questions , especially why that stabbed girl appear in every criminal's mind and why John walker is always there. Is he the mastermind behind all this? and is the girl a part of John Walker so thats why he has there the whole time? maybe it could be related to him and she's a part of why he wants to take revenge of what happened to her?

So many questions and clues we been given

That old chief guy looks awfully suspicious himself, with his permanently shut eyes and white hair. Is John Walker hiding in plain sight?

Also, I'm not sure of the exact chronology of the events from the end of the first episode to the start of this episode, but if "The Perforator's" appearance was already identified in the id well by the time Matsuoka discovered his real body, then was that not revealed to the id well (Kura) analysts? They communicate remotely with the field agents, so assuming they were made aware of the killer's appearance by this point, how'd he get all the way to the ambulance with no one recognising him? My guess is that the anime is just randomly jumping back and forth in time for the sake of building up suspense, and to justify episodic cliffhangers, which would explain it.

I kind of understand the whole well system a bit more. Also seems like this killer is just some idiot who drilled himself. Kaeru seems to have some connection to akihito and apparently he has a dead daughter and is a criminal. We also get to learn that doin this and stressing out the killer could lead to them killing themselves which I see ass a plus. Not a bad op and end.
