Yeah, an episode where Hayasaka is taking a bath, this is what I need. She actually have a nice pair, I don't know why she need pads...

Shinomiya's level in understanding technology is as expected from someone who got many restrictions from her own family. But this restriction is also sad enough, just like this anime drawn on the epilouge. How hard she is to socialize with friends in same age, just because she must follow the rule. Hayasaka's reaction is represented what I feel for Shinomiya.

As for fun part, fujiwara chika is gone Koizumi-san's way xD that's a good ramen scene, I'm hungry now.

I see the last two episode are going to hit you with the feels. I didn't understand that ramen scene. Can anyone explain this poor guy what the hell happened there?

The author seems to enjoy putting weirdly details backstory for side characters that rarely appear. The guy who eat the ramen is one of the four ramen emperors of Tokyo

It is chapter 50.5 in the manga. The old man is a person who "preach the belief that ramen is a waltz between owner and customer. He fill the concept of mannerism in ramen eating and the responsiblity of customer to eat ramen properly"

Overall, I think it is taking jab at shokugeki no soma
Thanks for that it helped me a lot.

I'm kinda neutral in chapter 44 cut. At one point, it's good to have a teaser of the most awaited episode, to sort of start the feels train. But on the other hand, it's also unfortunate to miss the other half of that chapter where everything goes downhill right after that moment which is IMO necessary for building feels and drama. I think this could be fixed by using this teaser as an intro for the next episode (or at least a few cuts of it) to recall and restart the feel we got from episode 11.

And I see people are starting to beg for sequels. Which is good...... inbefore J.C. Staff took over the 2nd season. God Fuckin' Damnit.

The first part had me feeling bad Hayasaka because Kaguya is so impossible to deal with, but then they hit me with that shit after the credits. Kaguya really had a shit upbringing and I imagine there's still more to learn. I don't understand why her summoned her tho. What Hayasaka said made it sound like he summoned her to literally say "Oh, you're here. Good." Like that doesn't make any sense.

Also the ramen scene was absolutely gold.

Not the funniest episode so far. But I liked it anyway.

First part about Twitter was very interesting.
And the ramen part was excellent. The salaryman VA did a great job.

The ending scene was... heartbreaking. I feel bad for Kaguya.

Damn...surprising emotional episode in a comedy anime.

I know the whole point of this anime is that the MC and heroine refuse to tell their actual feelings for each other, but goddamn...I really just want the Ship to sail.

The Prez X Kaguya are easily the best couple of this season IMO....just let them be together already!

Well, it's been a good run folks, last episode will be next week.

This episode is just perfect, it's funny at first, oh and damn, Hayasaka in a bath towel. The ramen arc with chika too, very funny. It was quite sad that the Prez and Kaguya didn't meet up, that scene with Kaguya in the President's table is just like the ED, which is really nice. We also see a bit of Kaguya's personal life with her parents, which is quite.... sad.

I love her regardless. <3

Kaguya is how tsundere if its done right. lol
although calling kaguya as tsundere is a bit oversimplified it since her character is more complex than that though

Non events? Really?

I mean, if you reduce things to what happened between the leads, I guess you are right, but this is not what matters, and that is _story progression_. And here, progress has been enormous.

We learn about Kaguya's background. It develops her, it develops Hayasaka, and it most definitely made me empathize with her more. It also proved that this story was not afraid to not pull any punches and deliver some harsh drama. For the longevity of what's primarily a romcom, this matters a lot.

Anzu Hayasaka can't get a break at all.

Chicka's segment had a Ms.Koizumi Loves Ramen Noodles feel to it.

Kaguya, with all her wealth and influence really lives a sad and lonely life. Her father probably hates the fact that he has a daughter and not a son.

A nice way to start the episode with Chika and her two sisters enjoying their time on the beach. They all have nice figures for their respective swimsuit and bikini outfits, as expected! =3

I definitely feel for Hayasaka. She got the bath to herself and wanted to relax and become stress-free, but Kaguya kept on barging in and demanded Hayasaka's help with so much. XD

But either way, that segment was really good fun as Kaguya struggled to get used to how Twitter works and her constant excuses for not following Miyuki on Twitter led to Hayasaka dropping a brutal verbal retort in response. =P

The ramen segment was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. The middle-aged ramen master and the ramen shop owner were constantly surprised to see how well Chika ate her ramen bowl. The best part of the segment was Chika's facial reactions as she ate her food. It certainly gave me vibes from Food Wars and I can already picture her in that series eating something that Yukihira Soma made! XD

Although I do agree with the manga readers after checking the two manga pages that would've made this segment end on an excellent note. Either way, it was still great.

After that, the last segment felt tense and somewhat sad. Both Miyuki and Kaguya wanted to see each other and they did go to school do see if the other was their. Sadly, they somehow missed each other, which ended the segment on a sad note.

The after-credits scene only made that sadness feeling even stronger as Kaguya was summoned by her father to come to Kyoto, which meant that she couldn't go with Kei, Chika and her younger sister to go out shopping. I don't blame Hayasaka for muttering her insult to Kaguya's father under her breath for simply summoning the both of them for a mundane reason like that. D=

Although Kaguya said multiple times about it being alright because her upbringing and not having the same fun as a normal girl her age would, it just made me feel depressed. I REALLY want her to have as much fun as possible for next week's final episode at the fireworks festival. I really do! ^_^

God damn, Chika's older sister, She's sexy AF.

More screentime for Hayasaka, much needed to be honest. Seeing her in a towel was nice, but putting that beach chair in the bath caught me by surprise XD By the sound of the other people in that house, she does that regularly. Her body though! Fanservice is off the charts this episode!

Never would have thought that Kaguya was so hopeless when it comes to the internet. I have to agree to what Hayasaka said, Kaguya should definitely appreciate her more. She's a star!

Omg that Ramen scene was hilarious XD

Both Kaguya and Miyuki heading out to school, but missing each other only just. How unlucky!

Oef, that post-credit scene though.

Only the second is really a non event, it shows nothing that we didn't already know about Chika and the other characters there aren't recurring. It is not relevant to the plot either.

On the other hand, the first part shows a plot point that will be necessary for the next episode. The third and fourth are character development and those two plus the first part are all set ups that are going to pay off in the next episode.

Masterpiece!
I don't get why some people are complaining about this episode being too melodramatic, when it's where precisely the series excel and makes it all the more relatable and feels close to reality.

shanimebib said:
Someone's gonna tell me the adaptation could have been any better? You'll have it coming from me!

The pure loneliness of Kaguya and Miyuki not being able to meet each other was so beautifully captured! I am a big fan of romance in anime, but this anime seem to tick all the lovely things that make the romantic moments in an anime worth every second! And then I am leaving out the high level of humour week-in week-out, not to mention the genuine dedication shown towards making this anime by the animators.

With just one episode left, I am calling it now: THIS HAS BEEN A MASTERPIECE!

You guys can go and update your ratings already.

The only part that was really missing in this episode was Chika meeting Prez and Yuu on her way back and Yuu, the considerate boy that he is, slipping a mint in her hand because her breath was stinking of garlic. :P

Small things really, but you gotta read the manga to help yourself with all the other small fun moments! Go read it! I guarantee you pure entertainment!
Sure, will do. Regardless of how the final episode will turn out, I'm changing the score to 10/10 next week. I'm really loving this series. :')

Maybe Hayasaka is right, if they're more honest and open about their feelings, it'll be better. And the ending with Sentimental Crisis piano arrangement is really beautiful...

Not a bad episode overall (the post-credits bit was particularly well-done), but the ramen shop scene was by far the absolute worst this show has done so far. I hope that the "Ramen Battles" aren't a recurring thing in the manga, especially if they're all as bad as this one was.

they arent, that guy comes back at a later chapter (like 100 chapters later type of later so think a hypothetical season 4) but the next one is actually funny cause theres more to the joke than what we got here and its more of a background joke to something kaguya is doing.

The weird thing is, this seems to be one of everyones least favorite chapters yet for some confounding reason the creator specifically wanted this one chapter to be animated if it ever got an anime, its bizzare but whatever
