Total war warhammer series. there's above 60 different starting lords with their own unique perks and starting position from 15 different races (and they keep adding some so by the end of it there should be around 90 if not more for around 20 "races"), each campaign can easily take 50+ hours, it's a sandbox so it never turns out the same even if you start with the same Lord, and at every update stuff change with the addition so many campaign get altered due to their surounding having changed partially or balance changes, plus there's a huge community of modders if it's still not enough somehow.

Who in their right mind would want to play the same game forever?

I can play first Deus Ex every month. Usually just do it once per year, since 2001. Sometimes with mods, sometimes just graphics enhancements.

Classic Doom! I have so many Doom mods in both of my laptops, and I had so much fun playing Project Brutality.
Also, The iDOLM@STER: Theater Days is the rhythm game I am currently playing. I have been playing the events.

I have never trusted in winning an online club until I attempted to play in a demonstrated online gambling club that makes it conceivable to play for cash in online mode, yet additionally in demo mode, I love the gambling club for having the option to play for nothing here https://playappcasino.com/luck

Call of Duty. I'll never get tired of it. Started playing when I was 8 and and ten years and thousands (probably more than 7500) hours across the various games later, I'm still not tired. What a great game.

well, games from certain topics have a better replay value than others, this includes grand strategy games

an example of that would be Stellaris, or the Total War series

another example is Sandbox games, where you do the work, you make the story, you make everything

this is an example that everyone probably already knows, Minecraft

then of course there's games you just love, and even when you run out of things to do, you'll find things to do

for me, this includes Skyrim (mods op), Fallout 4, and Horizon Zero Dawn

- Streets of Rage 1 & 2

- Destruction Derby 1 & 2

- Any half decent 2v2 Volleyball game, seriously I'm probably the biggest fan of volleyball games ever.

- Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine💓

- WWE Smackdown: Here Comes the Pain & WWE Wrestlemania 19

- Akiba's Trip 2 Undead and Undressed, so I can simp waifu Rin💓

- Command & Conquer Red Alert 1, 2, Tiberium Sun & even Generals is ok, but hate how you can completely annihilate the ai by camping at your base and using loads of super weapons.

- COD 4 Modern Warfare, I suck online but sometimes have moments of greatness.

- DK Virtual Eyewitness Dinosaurs, it's old and outdated af but it's still one of the best and most informative games on Dinosaurs ever created. I used to get so scared of the soundtrack and seeing the Dinosaurs wandering around the Museum 🤣

- Jurassic Park Operation Genesis, like it more than JWE but I hate those random storms.

Maitetsu Pure Station, has such a great lovely story to it.

If you are talking games that don't end after you beat the objective, the credits roll, and you can return that save file after clearing but continue leveling, this is what comes to mind. For instance, I wouldn't count chess unless you double stalemate. I wouldn't count minesweeper, not pacman because 255 bug, wouldn't count persona 3 because you have a limited amount of days till you eventually have to fight the boss and theres no new game+, ect ect.

Civilization
Disgaea(?)
Minecraft
Nightmare of sleeping girl (Touhou fangame with endless rounds)
*Super Mario World (endless ROM hacks, also MM is trash)
*Super Mario 64 (Endless ROM hacks)
OSU (users make their own beatmaps, endless rythem game)
GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas, Vice City Stories (Mods galore)
Any MMO (they are designed to drain your life away)

*Games are finite, but the mod culture makes it infinite*

Classic games like Tetris or Mahjong Soul (Yostar) or Risk have good replay value.

Card games can last long but you end up using almost all possible combinations against opponents who usually follow the same style.. There are big card games like Hearthstone and Shadowverse, and small games like Age of Rivals or the old Flash game "Elements", but I only come back from time to time. Also depends a lot on the community/meta/drops generosity. I could have played Elements for a long time if not for Flash death.

With grinding/gacha games, it depends on the studio continuously giving content and the gameplay. I rarely see good games and I thought I'd never say that of one; but maybe I'll quote it now. I am starting to see kinda the end game in Princess Connect Re:Dive (JP), but I might continue to play since the gameplay is fun, the VN side is interesting and most of all the devs always offer new content. And, we get a 2nd season anime! How long will that game last for me?

In the 3D Action games, I'd put Dead Frontier, a nice zombie shooting with a chilly atmosphere. I only play the original but I've heard there has been a modern v2.

Games that I'll never get tired of playing are King's Field or Tail Concerto and retro household names like Dragon Quest 7.

The good thing about retro games is that we don't have to worry about political correctness, one of the reasons why I have a love/hate relationship with modern games besides generic FP shooters like COD: MW.

An honorable mention goes to Arc The Lad 1 & 2. Even the anime is awesome.
