| Not sure what Id buy but probably something so long as the price is reasonable. Id more likely buy merchandise and manga than I would buy anime. If I were to buy anime id more likely go for films or short ova series. They charge too much for series. |
| I have about 30 anime titles and 3 proper anime figurines. Altogether, the costs......gah, lost count. Coupled with the fact that I'm a hardcore gamer with about $5000 worth of games, my hobbies aren't cheap. I'm definitely not poor but I'm not rich either. All things considered, I need to find a better paying job (which I'm doing). I can only console myself with the fact that I never spend my money on any luxuries other than games or anime. |

| I buy a fair amount of anime, and some LNs and manga on the side. As for merchandise, it's mostly T-shirts and necklaces. Wearing my Soul Eater necklace right now, too. Besides that... I have a Spice & Wolf deck of cards? Only other thing that might count is that my Boogiepop Phantom DVD set is the legendary edition with the OST, character cards, art, and pretty box. |

| I'd consider myself neither poor nor rich and I do buy stuff but only if I really liked it (I try to get DVDs and mangas of series I rated 9 or 10, couple 8s as well). I recently calculated how much money I've spent on anime and manga since 2007 and it was around 2,500€. I have a job and support myself, I'm sure I wouldn't spend money (at least not nearly as much) if I were still a kid going to school. |
| I'm not rich. But I still support the anime industry. I bought several anime figures that I love. And recently, I begun buying anime DVD and CD's. I think its more important than figures. All you need to do is to do some budgeting. So hopefully, I can buy all the anime DVD and CD's that's on my list. |

| I bought cowboy bebop a long time ago. It's unopened in the case that's under my second monitor so it sits a little higher. :| Money aside, I wouldn't use or even organize any of it so it'd just become misc clutter around my house. So no, I do not and would not in a house or with a mouse. I do have a CR sub that I don't use cause I forget about it always. So there's my contribution to the world. |

| For the most part, no. Most merch doesn't interest me, I'd probably buy a few small things, but that's it. Aside from manga of my all time favorite series, and the occasional phone case, there's not much else I'd want. I don't have room for the small amount of merch I already have anyway. |

| The point of buying anime goods is to further support the anime right? You buy figurines of your favorite characters because that money goes into the animators pockets as a reward for all their hard work. Same with Blu Rays and other stuff. I hate pointless shit. If it doesn't have a use, like figurines than I can't bring myself to spend money on it. If it's like a laniard or something, I might get a Mario themed one or a Geass themed one. I might get a laptop carrying case designed like Taka's in bloody monday, but pointless shit like dolls, figurines, posters and gunpla are things I can't in good conscience convince myself to believe are good purchases. Blu Rays are a given. If I was rich I'd buy the shit out of them. |
| Personally, it's not a matter of being poor or not. I don't have any use for that shit. I wish I could support my favorite shows financially, but official merchandise is usually figurines and ugly shit, both of which are useless and have no value for me. The only anime merchandise I buy are fan-made. |
