| I've only been here for a couple of months but there's nothing here that is truly exciting or engaging. A few topics pop up here and there but its nothing compared to the troll wars and debates I've had on other forums. Nothing beats going into a troll war and watching troll after troll get flustered enough to get banned. It is quite funny actually as I'm just about done cleaning up the DmC board on GameFAQS board at the moment Got one troll left and we're good for now. |

| I've never cared much for the MAL forums. Made an intro thread over a year ago then never came back. Finally got run off the MCF which had been my home since 2010. I picked MAL back up as it was low hanging fruit so to speak. Already had an account here and a buddy trying to convince me it was worth my time. |

| I've met some really nice and open-minded people on MAL, but I've found that you have to take the conversing outside of the forums, because it's not exactly the best place and setting to have meaningful discussions in. I mostly just visit the forums to amuse myself, but if I stumble upon some interesting members I might chat them up, and it's much more pleasant than trying to have a deep, thought-provoking conversation when people are going mental around you. |

A 1v1 discussion on a forum thread often have other users commenting on it as well with the obvious troll type, skeptic type, and the spamming type involved.
