| Nah not really. I've actually gotten some of my friends into it as well. One of my goals is to get as many people into anime as I can haha. That way, people like OP don't need to even worry about watching anime in public and can be confident in speaking about something they enjoy doing. |

| I don't watch anime in public, but if I did, it would depend on what I'm watching. Unless we're talking about watching in front of people in general, but that wouldn't make much of a difference. I'd openly watch stuff like Bartender or Bakuman or something, but watching ecchi or gore openly seems...Well...Why the hell would someone do that? |

| Pick and choose what you're going to be noticed watching. It's like any other form of media. I have no problem with someone seeing me watch Redline. But, I'm not going to let them see me watch Clannad or something like hentai. I'll allow people to observe me watching a television show like The Office. But I'm not going to allow them to see me watching something like twilight or pornography. |

| I don't watch neither anime nor movies or TV series in public, because people keep coming at me and asking what am I watching and it's annoying as hell. I'm not embarrassed with what am I watching, I just don't feel like answering the endless questions. Same with books. I can't really concentrate on that, so I usually just end up listening to music. |

| No. My computer desk is placed in the corridor between the kitchen and the living room... So, everybody always pass behind my back. If I really had to pause everytime somebody pass, it would take me an hour to watch an episode. So, I don't give a damn. My family don't care at all anyway, and afterall I never watch ecchi anime or the like, so I have a clear coscience è.é I don't give a damn outside of my house either... some time ago I used to watch Hetalia on my cellphone while riding the train to school... I always busted out laughing, and people glared at me xD |
