This episode just proved itself again that maids are badass.

Also got to see Lufas' game knowledge in display based on her experience. This feels like a buildup with a big fight coming soon. Dina got interrogated like she was a suspect lol

At this point, it was clear that Dina = that blonde-haired devil, whatever her name is. She kept missing when that Devil appeared, and she also kept Libra occupied by sending her somewhere away from the city, as she promised Jupiter that she could help him by stalling Libra for about 20 minutes.
Unless... this will be a big bait and trolling from the author. πŸ˜‚

Well that blond devil looks a lot like Dina the question is are they the same person.
Dina's identity has been suspicious from the start yet the main seems to trust her.
I wonder what she really is, a loyal servant of Lufase or someone working for someone else.
Tho it seems the group has other worries right now.

Suppose that confirms the reason for the extreme focus the intro, the outro, and frankly every episode has had on Dina's smile and puppeteering visuals.
Not a bad twist to this premise, though I wonder where it'll go from here

Damned Plot twist
Dina, the very unocent looking character, that so far passed as a nobody, and that was her excuse for not appearing in anyones memories or data registers, us theres rly no way she casually teleported libra out of action just b4 the battle. right after the lumiere said she could keep her at bay for 20 mins.
But is she a liar then, an alter ego? srsly evil? shes not a golem to follow orders so how much could she be forced to do, instead of her sction being her true intent

Either it's a master class misdirection from the author or Dina is playing both sides.
Though, are they hinting Dina mind control power are so great they are interfering with Lufas too, but kinda inefective on Libra since a golem? OP Dina.

Dina says that the "person" she was waiting for "shouldn't keep a lady waiting", Venus (she was named last episode) said the exactly same quote about Jupiter, hence it wouldn't be far-fetched to assume they are the same person, not to talk about how Venus say "I can hold Libra for 20 minutes" and then Dina teleports Libra far away, I just wished it wasn't so obvious.

As for the Goat - Aigokeros is a name I am not sure I will remember -, it is a bit sad how the mixed-wings have to be hypnotised so he can exact revenge on those heroes for "killing" Lufas.

Venus first appeared in the 4th episode. I don't think many people thought she was linked to Dina before she made her proper introduction in episode 7. If they're the same character, there should be several hints in the early episodes.

Yeah, I freaking knew it. Dina & that female demon are the SAME person. Pretty impressive magic, I must say. But the Mind Manipulation is really something else, Luphas should be jumping up in alarm seeing her stats that high, but just kind of blows them off? WTH?

Dina is 100 percent gonna end up being the mastermind of everything isn’t she lmao? About time Lufas started asking questions. It’s funny tho, we all kinda look at Lufas not being more suspicious of Dina and think it’s silly, but we also accepted Dina’s backstory very easily because of how funny and likeable she is. It’s almost as if it’s impossible not to like or be entranced by her. Classic signs of mental manipulation and magic, wow. If she’s strong enough to have played Lufas this whole time, she’s on a whole other level.

I’m worried about Libra, I swear if she kills her 😭 it’s also going to be interesting to see how Lufas handles things by herself here. She’s been so used to relying on Dina, Aries and Libra for things.

@groudonvert I didn't mean that. I mean she is obviously NOT WHAT she claims to be. Luphas said those are some pretty high stats. In other words, not a standard NPC.

Of course, but with the level she has, Lufas doesn't have to care about being betrayed, they have 700 levels gap between them and Lufas was able to handle 7 heroes at once who were at her level.

Dina and Venus definitely seems like theyre the same person, but also not? Like the moment Dina heard of the white wings plan for war she couldve just not mentioned it to Lufas if she was actually Venus. Not to mention she was acting pretty surprised hearing it.

My thinking is that she(Venus) used mind manipulation to forget about herself and actually make herself believe shes Dina. How she turns back or still carried orders as Dina is still the question tho.

Well, this episode was a big waste of time. Also is it just me or is it strongly implying that blue haired girl is that blonde haired demon chick? And by strongly I mean like it's a nigh certainty.

Something real fucky's going on with that girl. The blue hair, outfit, and attitude gives me Aqua (from KonoSuba) vibes. And she has some lore only power... Is she like secretly a goddess or something? Hm... That's the vibe I'm getting. I also think the author must be a fan of that series.

And do we know how many episodes this season is going to be? It's still marked as a "?". The slowness makes it definitely seem like it'll be 24.

Yeah, Dina and the blond whatever talking to Jupiter are visually identical except for the hair, but I have a suspicion that it is not that simple that they are the same person. They both take actions that would strongly fight the others apparent goals.

Conclusion of the fight between Libra and the demon Jupiter.
Dina find out about a plan of the White winged to attack the dark winged. Ares meats Agitori the goat and he reveals a plan to cause a civil war.
Venus tells Jupiter that she will hold Libra back for 20 minutes.
After being replenished, Lufas interrogates Dina.
Dina and Libra use Exgate to back to base.
Jupiter and Agitori attack and turn the white winged and clack winged against one another.

Who precisely is Dina?

OMG finally Lufas is also questioning how a background NPC can have such op skills like teleportation and mind manipulation. It's now more apparent than ever that Dina probably used her mind manipulation to create false memories of herself in the minds of Lufas and Aries. But since Lybra is an inorganic being, mind manipulation doesn't affect her. But it wasn't until this episode that I realized that Venus also has blue eyes just kike Dina. Guess we know now who Dina really is πŸ€”

@curvedtree It was obvious from episode 1 that something was going on with Dina. The ending alone made her seem a bit more than a background NPC, at first I thought she was likely another player or something. But now I'm not so sure it's that simple given the insane amount of suspicious things linked to her.

There's no ending and opening in episode 1 though.
The only real suspicious thing about Dina in episode 1 (except the fact Lufas doesn't remember her) is the fact that for someone who has waited Lufas for 200 years, she did 0 clean up.

Can't decide if Dina is obivously the blonde demon or if the show is making it TOO obvious and it's a fake out.

Most game logic would not allow a low level character to cast spells on a high level character successfully, which SHOULD mean that Dina can't mess with Lufas' memories.

Of course, they mention that the only other being that they know of able to cast Extent is the Goddess. So maybe there's something there...

@groudonvert I'm way too lazy to go back and check, so I'll take your word for it. I still think it would be weird if Dina could change Lufas' memories unless she was secretly much higher level than just a mere demon luminary.

I have mixed feelings about Dina's identity. She really does seem to be that blonde woman. But at the same time there are some inconsistencies: it doesn't seem like she was waiting for the Jupiter guy, as he had already other contact waiting for him there, that Dina didn't know - the hooded guy that she followed. She also seemed surprised by the civil war plot. Everything else seems to point at her being traitor (?), but all of those are just conjectures that could simply be a bait from author. I mean, it's all too convenient while also somehow nothing being an actual proof.
She is suspicious and I bet there is more to her, but this time I'm leaning more towards it being a bait.

@curvedtree There are, but to put it simply, they're all pretty mediocre compared to this one. This is one of the first anime with a premise like that which isn't completely terrible. Kenja no Deshi wo Nanoru Kenja AFAIK is the anime that is the most similar to this, it even also has a male MC reincarnate into their female game MC, but it's characters aren't as good as this one and it focuses much more on fan service than this show does.

LOL, did Libra just magically put all the Ammos into "between her legs under her skirt"? LOL

.

And now Lufas is getting super SUS vibes on Dina and her "teleportation skill"

Especially with Blond Demon girl saying how she'll distract Libra.

And then Dina comes and suddenly mentions she can teleport Libra as she's not a organic.

Coincidence? hmmm...

SUPER SUS

.

But... if the Blond Demon girl possess the Teleportation skill... why didn't she bother using that skill to kill the weaken heroes to began with? She could literally just teleport bunch of bombs or something into buildings and BOOOM... everyone dead.

Tho... apparently the "Elf" in the beginning also had the teleportation skill, that summoned Lufas... and yet that guy also didn't use it to teleport bombs into the demon's buildings.

So... what's the actual restriction for this?

And it's also even more SUS, considering that Dina said Exgate can't be used on "organics"... yet... it summoned Lufas (which is organic).

I only know 2 Isekai who are similar to this series while being very different :
- So I'm a Spider so What? (also has a huge amount of mysteries)
- Demon Princess Magical Chaos (same as above but also has a character similar to Dina).

The second one is not an anime, only a Light Novel written in English.

@groudonvert I haven't seen Demon Princess Magical Chaos, but the similarities between Kenja and this are enough that I'm pretty sure it's about the closest thing to this in terms of premise at least.

I mean, realistically there's probably at least 40 Japanese Novels out there similar to this that just have 0 translations or whatever so they go unnoticed on MAL.
