| i stopped watching gigguk after lockdown ended and yesterday his announcement post came in my feed. it was good to see he was making an anime and of course its an isekai. channel must be doing pretty well to be able to take on projects like these. good for him. |

| If I recall correctly Misty Chronexia commissioned his own anime and it was a sloppy mess. It doesn't seem that big of a feat, thinking about it, since MC is now one of the most irrelevant anituber out there who mostly got by through top10s. Well, at least, Gigguk has the wisdom to keep it short. I highly doubt it's going to shatter mountains and reach even outsiders, instead being merely a little cherry pie dedicated to his most supportive fans. |

It may turn out to be trash, but he was given an opportunity and took it. Now he's putting his money where his mouth is. Also, I'm curious about what it would mean for the industry if this is a huge success. |

| @Ambeon If they are using it and not being honest about it, then that's extremely unethical and wrong. One of the current anime apparently got caught using AI subtitles that they were dishonest about. If they want to use it, then be honest and say you cheated and I'll watch something else but if these companies lie about it that's dead wrong and people are right to be angry. |

| I hope they gave Garnt a lot of power over this production and aren't just using his original concept and name and then running with it, because I think he generally got a good take on things. Really cool to see some Thai mythology in anime too. Hopefully it paves the way for more anime based on SEA myths EDIT: I've now watched the Trash Taste episode where he talks more about it and it seems really promising. I'm glad that he's truly approaching it as a passion project and some of the concept art and world building he showed looked great |

His taste may be trash but I won't belittle the hard work that must have been put through to accomplish this feat. Even if it manages to get on the database (LOL ifykyk) and has an average of 5.90 score, it's still a lifetime achievement. |
