| When I tell you I haven’t been this excited for an episode in a while, yeah, THE HYPE IS FUCKING REAL. Though, for an episode titled "Luffy VS Kizaru," I would've hoped for more of that... but I get why we didn’t. The whole first half is about what the gang is planning to do now that Kizaru’s basically fucked everything up. And Bonney just being Bonney, kicking ass ofc, whether that’s as a kid or an adult. That mini fight was just a sneak peek of what was coming in the second half, because if they went that hard for a little scuffle like that, best BELIEVE the main event was gonna go EVEN HARDER. Or, second main event, because Lucci vs Zoro went HARD ASFFFF too. Nah because in the manga this fight was like what, not even two full pages iirc?? So they did NOT need to go this hard LMAO. Not complaining though, that shit was PEAK. But back to the main event: Kizaru somehow out-trolling the biggest troll we’ve ever seen, Gear 5 Luffy, because LMAOOOO that whole scene in the clouds man... AHHHHHH WHAT THE FUCKKKKKK. And the trolling doesn’t even stop there, because they just have a full-on troll off for the rest of the episode. Until Kizaru pulls the ultimate bitch move and just grabs Usopp’s lips for whatever reason xD. That is, until he realizes Vegapunk is making a run for it, so he tries to blast him, but OUR BOY LUFFY SWALLOWS THAT SHIT LIKE IT’S NOTHINGGGGG. And yeah, Atlas living up to her title of wrath/violence to an insane degree because... did she just ORDER THE ANNIHILATION OF 30,000+ MARINES?!?!?! Regardless, FUCKING EPISODE OF THE SEASON, YEAR, I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY, THEY JUST DON’T DO IT LIKE GOAT FUCKING PIECEEEEEE. |

| Neat to see more of Lucci vs Zoro in the anime. Toei's Zoro bias made this a given. The Sanji moments on the other hand are just goofy af, lol. And the biggest troll in all One Piece is actually Kizaru  Especially how delivers in the anime is beautiful. Speaking of beautiful. How they adapt Luffy vs Kizaru is sublime. This is the shit Toei had on the stove months. Well worth the wait. Favorite part was the execution of this panel  followed by the light clones That whole sequence was a visual feast. Atlas was able to turn the tides of the battle to our favor for now. However, now Saturn is on the move. And grandpa is even higher than Vegapunk in the Pacifista command chain. Damn, this was one of the coldest to be continued transitions. |

| Toei really knows how to nail Luffy and Zoro’s fights. The Captain and Vice-Captain are shining again! Luffy swallowing light is hilarious and fits Gear 5 perfectly. The Lucci vs Zoro choreography is spot on. Another peak episode. |

| Lucci vs Zoro looked so good, and Luffy continues to be as goofy as ever against Kizaru lol. It was nice to see Bonney holding it down on her end too. But, holy fuck holy fuck next episode IT'S HAPPENING. Starting next episode is where this arc REALLY starts to pop off. I was just wondering how much longer it would be until we get to that part too lmao. |

| Luffy threw Kizaru like a QB aiming for the end zone. I feel like they cut out a "Suuupperrrr!" when Franky was leaving Lilith. They know that's what we're waiting to hear. |

| This show has gone from being one of the worst anime adaptations in the history of manga, to becoming perhaps the best anime adaptation of all time. There were traces of it throughout Wano, but Egghead has just been an elevation of the source material beyond what I could have ever hoped for, or even imagined. This might be the first time in my life that I say this about any piece of media, but this shit is just so peak |

| HOLY HECK ON A STICK, TOEI!! Damn, Toei went so hard in this episode! 🤩 How many amazing amazing animators participated in this episode? Did Vincent Chansard and Akihiro Ota work on this episode? The animation for this episode is sublime. And so divine. 🥰 Luffy throwing Kizaru away like a toy, haha, so much disrespect to the Admiral. 🤣 Brook's jokes always amuse me but dammit Nami, that hit was uncalled for. This is Brook's first time seeing his captain in Gear 5 but she didn't have to be so violent.. They're trying to protect Vegapunk but Vegapunk insists on going to save Bonney. He was hesitating on answering their questions as to why he should go, and I believe I know the exact reason why he was hesitant on answering.. The choreography for Bonney's fight against the Navy soldiers...that was marvelous. Such stellar animation. Zoro vs. Lucci was pure gas! Toei cooked with that animation, because that fight was mostly off-screened in the manga so they did their job remarkably in this episode. Both guys have savage one-liners too. 😆 The main event of this episode was Kizaru flying back to Egghead to attack Luffy where that sublime "kaleidoscopic" sequence of fight choreography kicked off like ballet on crack. 😂 Stellar animation with awesome camera angles. Those damn Kizaru clones, and he never loses his cool. Kizaru even easily escaped Gear 5 Luffy to pursue Dr. Vegapunk. Luffy swallowed that beam of light but his body couldn't contain it so it penetrated to his eyes. Man, I'd love to make an animated GIF of that scene as my own expression from the animation that I witnessed from this episode. 🤣 Uh-oh, Saturn is gonna make his move... 🥶 That "To Be Continued" scene was creepy as hell and I'm so eager to see what comes next! Also eager to see the reaction of the anime-onlies. 😊 Been watching reaction videos for One Piece on YouTube and anime-only viewers are fun to watch. 😄 |
| Daaaamn that's gotta be by far one of my favorite ever episodes visually, like seriously there were highlights but literally every single second looked amazing, from Bonney's combat scene to the glorious Zoro vs. Lucci and the mind-bending Gear 5th Luffy vs Kizaru. Possibly even tops the best of the Luffy vs Kaido fight. Next episode looks like it will continue to be fantastic, man it feels good to be back! |
| easily episode of the year so far, toei cooked a proper meal here. they keep 1-upping themselves even though i think it's not possible anymore lmao. the impact frames, animation and choreography all went crazy. even for bonney's action sequences, then we got zoro and ofc they hit it out of the park with luffy vs kizaru. they're doing the absolute best display of kizaru and luffy's df powers and it seems like next week's episode is gonna be insane again. |

| Exactly what I expected from a Zoro vs Lucci, pretty good but I’m not sure they’re gonna end this fight. The fight with Kizaru was pretty fun, I was genuinely worried because Kizaru’s devil fruit is really strong and overpowered, but it seems that he’s more interested in finishing the mission than fighting Luffy, this mission looks somehow personal to him. |

| In my opinion, this is the best episode that came out since the break. Animation was extremely slick, the pacing was really good relatively to how One Piece usually is. Plus, seeing Luffy in Gear 5 is fun. I can't take the fight between Kizaru seriously when all I'm hearing is BOING BOING BOOOUP TOIUUUNGGGGG. |

| Great episode, but I really wish they would do away with the stupid SFX that's now prevalent in One Piece. I know what they're going for, but it's way too goofy IMO |

| Outstanding fight, I swear to God. Luffy has grown so much, I swear. From struggling against Lucci to going toe-to-toe with Borsalino. Luffy aside, Zoro has grown so much as well — from struggling against Kaku to going toe-to-toe with Lucci. Glazing aside, I loved when Luffy threw Borsalino so hard that the latter almost ended up drowning — which would've been RIP — but instead, bro just flew right back at him, attacking with his jewels, since he's literally made of light, per se. Borsalino aside, I loved the scene where Luffy casually consumed Borsalino's light bullet as if it were a piece of cake, shattering light rays all around while laughing. Never seen before — a Yonko getting wrecked and wrecking others, all the while laughing. Luffy aside, yo Bonney's good fightstyle yo, did not expect that, but it was kinda obvious, seeing as she was literally a captain of her own crew, so it must've been for a reason. Would've been a problem against a Logia though, like Borsalino, cuz you ain't touching him without Armament Haki, at least. Bonney aside, apparently Sanji and Franky are currently with Stella and Atlas, while Lilith still hasn't started using General Franky to carry the ship to the shore. You gotta hurry up, Lilith! The Straw Hats are on borrowed time. Nevertheless, I cannot fathom how Franky's gigantic body would fit inside Vegatank 8, when it's already carrying a gigantic Atlas too — but whatever, it is what it is. More importantly, I'm really excited to see how all of this will turn out. Zoro's fight against Lucci, Luffy's fight against Borsalino, whether Stella will actually find Bonney, and whether Lilith will get the Sunny to the shore — I can't wait! I'm seriously looking forward to how the next episode is going to turn out! |
