| Hey cuties, I'm after some stuff for 'Read a manga recommended to you by another participant in the discussion thread.' c: I'd appreciate something that's complete if possible, length isn't an issue (I just hate keeping up with updates, I'm so bad at it-) I'll read most genres but I'm a fan of action, adventure, trashy isekai's, BL, anything with hidden identities or hidden powers and all those sorts of tropes. But really I'm excited for any recommendations ^^ The only things I'm not overly keen on is Sci-Fi or Slice of Life if there's not much plot to it. Thanks in advance <3 |

Could I get a staff rec for #43 please~
I've apparently been on a shorter series kick of fluff, BL, gaming and isekai.
But I'm game for almost anything that's under 200 chapters ^-^ (and isn't horror/gore please~)
[[And if it's on my reading/PTR list with a zero it's also free-game I'm behind on updating so fresh starts are likely anyway :D]]

| Hi there, I have a few questions before participating in this challenge. Hopefully they're easy to answer. 1. I almost exclusively read physically published manga and mostly german versions. The rules state that I have to read at least the latest 5 volumes or 50 chapters. So for currently publishing titles, does that mean I have to read up to the latest volume released in english/japanese or is reading up to the latest volume released in german fine? For example: I'm currently reading Yu Yu Hakusho. English and Japanese publication finished long ago, but in Germany, we're currently at volume 5 and will reach up to volume 9 (out of 12) until the end of 2025. So could I use it for the challenge, if I read up to the latest released german physical copy? 2. For still publishing titles, does "read until the most recently released chapter" mean, up to the last released chapter up to december 15th or up to the point, where I turn in the form for the completed challenge (even if that would be in June or whatever). 3. Is it possible to change the difficulty level while still doing the challenge or do I have to stick to what I choose at the beginning? Let's say I choose Novice level and finish very early. Can I decide to up the challenge level to Rookie or even Pro? I'm assuming I could do that after reading the sign up rules, but I'm still somehow unsure. |

| @Shiroponta sorry for the wait! The 5 volumes/50 chapters rule is for stuff you started before 2025. Anything you start in 2025 can be used no matter the length. For ongoing series, however, which would be your case since it's still publishing for you, it would be valid as long as you're caught up to the latest released physical copy, yes. Up to the point where you turn in the form. You can change difficulty at any point before turning in. :) |
