| You know a villain is a bad villain when they can hurt you both physically and mentally. Moreover, Capella has already hurt Crusch more than enough, so yeah, if anything, I’m glad that we didn’t see the repeat of what could’ve been a full and final blow to Crusch’s sanity. Again, she might not be getting a whole lot of screentime, but yeah, Anastasia did make it count there, a big time at that. Now yeah, Capella should suffer by all means lol. Also, I’ll say it again, but I’ve started liking Regulus a lot more since this whole thing started. I mean he, Emilia, Reinhard and Subaru are literally playing a whole different game there lmaoo. It isn’t just about animation, I mean their conversations and banters throughout the fight just not makes it more interesting to follow, but yeah, kinda keeps the overall tone balanced as well. Can’t have everyone act super stiff and say uber serious lines after all… as I mean it gets stale after some time, right? Anyway, they have a hint now to go with, so I mean they can hold Regulus down. Love that expression in the end lol. Btw, pls more of Sirius and Priscilla next episode. I’ve a feeling Priscilla might be willing to go completely bonkers there after all... in fact she did try, but yeah...:( |
| Some LN Extra Details (Volume 19, Chapter 1.3-1.4, 2.4-2.5, 6.6 ) - Emilia asked Reinhardt if he just bash people with sheathed sword if he cannot unsheath it. Reinhardt confirming it by saying yes. Subaru is appaled by this brutish method. - Reinhardt displays his rare sarcastic comment during his one of the trial on error on Regulus. - One of Reinhardt's leg was blown when he's floating over the water and being ambushed by Regulus' attack underneath the water. Then nearby lesser spirit heals his leg in a hurry - Subaru taught Emilia `Icebrand Arts`, a magical technique that creates all sorts of things with ice that she can freely make and use during fights - Subaru thought there is a number of things of influences coming from his old world, like the inn, Jabaneez style and Hoshin, and also like all Archbishop's name after stars from his old world. - Subaru thought that Betelgeuse name came from Arabic's phrase "hand of Jawza", which might relate to his power. So he thought that other archbishop's power might have a relation with their name as well. Differences from LN - Fight scenes with Regulus is a bit different. Subaru passes the sword to Reinhardt after Reinhardt covers him from Regulus' attacks instead of him taking it himself during the cover - in LN, the ice boulder Emilia casts is Ul Hyuma, but in the anime, it is Al Hyuma. Not sure if the anime script wrong or LN mistranslation. - Subaru is the one who told Emilia to make an ice skate for them both instead of Emilia initiating it on the spot. - The anime jumps from a chapter 3,4 & 5 from LN probably to continue it on the next episode since the anime is jumping for bits of each people's POV. |

| All-in-all, one of the best Re:Zero episodes ever. Just feels like White Fox have gone to a completely different level this season. Everything looks sharper, crisper and the action’s been incredible. We were on the move nonstop today. Regulus seiyuu is too good at his job. I hate that dude fr with his misogynistic bitch ass 😭 Love seeing Reinhard play with him like a ragdoll. The audacity of this loser to call someone childish for "hitting" when they don't get their way, when he does the exact same thing to his wives. Not fun when someone can hit back is it pussy? Subaru’s confidence has grown so much since season 1. Even facing off against a sin archbishop he’s just got this air and swagger about him where he knows he’s gonna come out on top, no matter how many times it takes. Love to see that! Speaking of swagger, I am an Emilia hater but that Al Huma and ice skating scene was amazing and she generally looked badass today. She also fights with more confidence and has grown stronger. PRISCILLA MY BELOVED. Between the yuri and the badass fight scenes that 4-5 minute scene was awesome. She might be the only person besides Reinhard who can face off with a sin archbishop and not gaf or be fazed 😂. Even wrath had to take a step back. The thrown to the moon scene was perfect lol! Reinhard is out the fight for now but Subaru’s not stressed at all because we got regulus weakness. Fuck, that ending scene just shows why so many people who’ve read the books hold Subaru in such high regard. Proud of how far my boy’s come. Awesome ep. |

| HOLY SHIT. This episode was so freaking good! The animations, the facial expressions, everything was top-tier! This might just be my favorite episode of Season 3 so far. Anastasia with a green hair wig looks weirdly good. Aoi Yuki as Capella is just as great as ever! But also the expressions on Felix and the voice acting by Yui Horie were great too. As I said, all the facial expressions of every character were top-tier. I can see why the character designer Haruka Sagawa said this was her favorite episode! The kiss scene of Liliana and Priscilla was funny. And all the little interactions between Subaru and Emilia were sweet and endearing. It feels so good to see these two together again. And man, the ice skating scene and all the attacks of Emilia on Regulus looked great! Subaru slowly figuring out Regulus' Authority was awesome. It's like he became Senku for a sec lol. The defeated look on Greed's face was priceless. I just noticed this after checking social media but they did at least one change to the OP. Theresia and Kurgan now appear without their hoods in the fight scenes. That was very cool. Here's the Episode 60 artwork by Haruka Sagawa.  |

| Hitting the HQ while the main force was away really was textbook. Lust has to be the most unpredictable and disturbing of the archbishops. Nice counter from Anastasia though. The Emilia Reinhard tag team was damm effective. But man sliding down the street after freezing it was damm cool. Pris dispelling Wrath's spell via a kiss was just like her. Looking forward to seeing Subaru and co wipe that grin of Regulas's face next ep. |

When Subaru asked to check his heartbeat the only thing I could think of was that either it wasn't Regulus' main body, like a zombie of sorts or that his time was stopped and yep it was the later. Though I'm more curious about the archbishops relation to the stars. It took me untill Subaru pointed it out to click. Regulus star is part of the Leo constelation. Also forgot to mention but Capella fell for Anastasia's plan. Can the great Al defeat her? |

| Subaru, Emilia, and Regulus on the ice was such a good scene, overall each episode keeps getting better and better imo. Love how well the animation is holding up too. Looks like we've reached a turning point in the fight against Regulus. |

There is not a SINGLE sane person in this entire show lmao. And I love it for that.
Generally not a big fan of the cutting from POV to POV, especially when it's this sporadic. We spent a combined total of 3 minutes from last and this episode on the felix and capella scenes, a couple minutes on priscilla and then the rest of the episode on regulus. From what I can see, they are taking bits and pieces from diffrent chapters from the ln, and that kinda bothers me. Perhaps it won't feel as bad when binging, but all this kinda just ruins the flow for me idk
Also, Subaru says that Regulus' ability is like pressing the start button in the middle of the game. Shouldn't it be pressing the STOP button? Since time is stopped for his own body I can't really see how it's like pressing the start button, kinda confusing. Not a translation error since Subaru himself says 'Startu' in engrish.
Emilia was cute and badass as always, Reinhard is kicking Regulus' ass and Subaru is being a dork at the same time.
Unexpected Yuri, god I wish was Liliana in that kissing scene.

| Another great episode, the animation is good as always and the fights blend seamlessly. Funnily enough, the main fight with Regulus is the one with the most levity. I guess they don't want it to come across too serious but it's starting to seem almost comical at some points (she hit the guy in the nuts lol). I don't mind some laughs to ease the tension, I feel like shit might hit the fan (even more) soon anyway and then it'll take a turn. Still, a good episode that felt like it flew by in 10 minutes! |

| Damn, if you thought Priscilla topped it out last episode with that changing scene, you're so very wrong lmao! Wild smooch, that. No spell would work against something like that, and I love how she knew that so well herself. Not sure why those titles triggered her to that extent though, can't wait to find what's the mystery behind that. On the other hand though, Regulus's secret appears to be out of the bag. Can't say I still see how Subaru and co. will deal against that, but you bet I'm down for the showdown. Al v Capella should be a fun battle too! Things are really heating up here and with just about 2.25 hrs content worth remaining, here's to hoping the wonderful Staff working behind the scenes can finish them off on a high! |

| This is in whole different level. Each episode each scene is amazing. Anastasia with a great save at right time. Never underestimate a merchant.. Al v Capella will be interesting. Emilia cute gibberish v Regulus gibrish is a treat. Ice skating fight was nice and Regulus is throwing massive amounts water wow. Regulus is such an awesome character. Reinhardt even didn't stood a chance and thrown to the sky. Probably due to his time stopping blessings. Subaru did figured it out let's see how he counters it. The best front was Priscilla's one. Another sad day of not being Lilliana. Priscilla is becoming better and and better each time. Sirius now pulling out her secrets out of her ass. They are loving this cliffhangers. Hopefully she will be ok. |

@MyNameSans it's just a reference to controllers, the menu button used to just be called the start button, and still is on some controllers. feel free to check out an NES controller for reference if ya like.  |
| Plenty of action and I'm loving every minute of it! Felis and Anastasia pulled off a good plan to get one-up on Capella, which I'm surprised she fell for it so convincingly. Meanwhile, Subaru, Emilia and Reinhard were going through the trial and error approach to see what would work against Regulus. I'm glad that their efforts finally paid off and Subaru correctly called out the weakness that Regulus had, judging by how scrunched up his facial expression was. It'll be exciting to see how Subaru and Emilia will try and take him down now that they know his weakness. The moment that defined this episode was Priscilla kissing Lilliana to snap her out of Wrath's power. This segment was hilarious as it can be, but this is one fight that will have me guessing who'll come out on top, especially seeing how the short post-credit scene played out. All in all, this was another banger episode. =) |
| Carrying on with the fights from last week this time we get to see how Anastasia tricked Lust, Priscilla confronted Wrath and Subaru, Emilia and Reinhard keep fighting Regulus looking for his weak point. That last one is the main one and as such it seems like Subaru from the Latin name of the stars may have an idea how Greed has no weak points and how to counter that. Will that be enough? And what triggered Priscilla so much at the end? |

| The Subaru, Reinhard, and Emilia vs. Regulus fight has been pretty exciting to watch and I was amused at Regulus seething at Subura for finding out his weakness. Looking forward to Al vs. Capella. |
