This is a very interesting situation for Rishe. Now she is married to Arnold, they have a lot of time to build off of that relationship.

Episode also had her entering a new place she was not familiar with in her past life. I think there's also plenty of time to build on Rishe's character as well. She has a cunning mind with a badass personality but also intelligent enough to plan out her life in this timeline.

That's a way to get engaged to someone. Not the best, though.

In a surprising moment, Arnold pops the question to Rishe, leaving her utterly confused as she tries to process the fact that he was the one who ended her sixth life. Despite Arnold expressing his love, Rishe remains uncertain. Eventually, they come to an agreement, and with a sense of triumph, Arnold returns to Galkhein, the only country Rishe hasn't experienced in her past lives. While Rishe is excited about the prospect of a new life, she still finds herself struggling to understand Arnold's true intentions.

Here's a thought: if he's the one who caused you trouble before, why even think about marrying him? Sure, you could try convincing him to care about you and avoid a repeat, but honestly, your life seemed fine before all this chaos. It's crazy that nobody ended up dead, especially that bandit with three injuries. Those maids really get on my nerves.

The whole situation gives me vibes of Snow White with the Red Hair. Let's just see where this relationship takes us for now.

You know you have a good time when the episode felt 5 minutes. Art style looks really beautiful.

One of Rishe conditions is to want to laze around the villa, relatable. Arnold couldn't keep one of his promises already, we knew he would never keep that promise of not touching her but so fast already, not that I blame him.

I wonder why Arnold would want to kill his father, something in me wants to see him go crazy and how Rishe will handle that.

Watching Rishe is so addicting, her experience, strong-willed nature and attitude is so intriguing. So I completely understand why Arnold feels this way towards her.
How they slowly start learning more about each other is pretty exciting.

I got a little confused there:
1) at 04:46 Rishe demands that if she's to agree to marry Arnold, she will "laze around the castle and do no work at all". However, the moment she arrives in the said castle, the first thing she does is gets to cleaning a room (15:10). Not exactly the laziest thing you could think of.
2) and this is even weirder: at 19:47 Arnold says Riche was "pressured into a marriage" while back at 04:02 we clearly see Rishe setting conditions and bargaining over what benefits she gets for accepting the marriage proposal. How is that being pressured?

Perhaps by "work" she meant something that is forced on her or there will be consequences if she didn't do it. Cleaning is something nobody asked her to do, so she was happy to use her time that way.

No matter the conditions, I got the feeling that she was in no place to actually refuse. The benefits are more like a way to make her more willing to cooperate than to actually accomodate her whims.

@felixsifuri

No, apparently Rishe accepted the proposal out of curiosity, because she thought she'd learn the reason why Arnold had started wars in each of her previous lives. She herself states that "life holds infinite opportunities" and she sees the marriage to the crown prince as one of those opportunities to diversify her new life and learn something new. What I didn't understand is why Arnold thought she'd been forced into the marriage while he in fact was in no position to force anything upon our strong-willed main lead. Then again, I'm probably reading too much into it.

And yeah, I agree that cleaning was probably just something she felt like doing. It just looked weird after all that talk about lazing around doing nothing.

The ED is sooo cute --even though it looks as though they're kids in it for some odd reason..
*cough* erm...that besides though Rishe definitely knows what she wants. To be treated as a hostage! To be lazy!

Although the fact she wanted to clean that villa herself seems counter intuitive [against that] but if I think about it as "wanting to decorate my own space my way" I guess I can relate as I have the same feelings sometimes. (Ie: I want to be lazy 90% of the time but randomly get an urge to just clean/organize my stuff sometimes for no specific reason.)

I admit I went and checked out the manga a teeeny bit after ep1 but that didn't take away from this ep. Can't wait to watch more

Decent episode but the art styles were getting clunky. Still an interesting episode nonetheless.

Oh, yeah.

The prince is much more interesting.
We don't get a lot of guys like Anos Voldigoad.
Definitely a worthwhile series for this season.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Very good follow up episode. All the important scenes are present and only small unimportant (and kinda cringe, honestly) details are cut off. Pacing is great. I am really happy with the adaptation so far! The animation was beautiful and pretty consistent.

We are still only getting introduced to Riche's new environment and so far it looks great. Great to finally see the city in great detail.

Opening and ending seem fine, nothing crazy. If it means the budget for the OP and ED went into the anime itself I will gladly accept it. The songs were great though.

Very excited to see how the following events will get adapted. For people who read Trash of the count's family - you might start seeing one specific similarity soon if not already lol.

1) It will be a bit of a running joke but

2) It seemed so from his perspective since the king of her country asked her to go with his demands (he was scared his stupid son went too far). It's not mentioned yet (I guess it's obvious but here it is) but Arnold's country has one of the best militaries on their continent and no one wants to insult them. But obviously, she accepted because she wanted to.

What a setting for the question though. Pretty cute OP that really showed the kind of life that Rishe already went through in prior loops. Im surprised that the prince agreed to all her points without question. Its nice that rep aside that Arnold does care about his men. Must be the first time i seen someone be so happy at being a hostage. In addition to her knowlege looks like Rishe also gained a fine ability to sense others as well. Really feel for the daughters of nobles though in that their only role in life is to marry someone thats higher in status and contribute in bringing their family up the social ladder. But im glad that Rishe intends to change that with this life.

Oh yea this could be set up to be one of the goat villainess shows. Another great episode. Loving how intelligent the characters are so far and how strong willed Rishe is.

Rishe trying to secure her days off where she can laze around in advance is so real lol. She not worried about anything else but having a chill and relaxing life. After all the stuff she’s seen in these loops you can’t blame her. I really love how she’s determined to live this life on her own terms.

She may have died in those previous lives, but they weren’t wastes or failures. She learnt so many invaluable skills from them, like being able to craft an antidote for Arnold’s men which ended up saving the day. I appreciate the skepticism from his troops which is pretty realistic considering a simple noblewoman wouldn’t be expected to know how to make an antidote like that.

Got to see Arnold’s compassionate side during this scene too. He knows all his troops by name and backstory. Genuinely cares for his guys and his willing to fight side by side with them. Maybe he’s not as bad as he came off in the last loop.

😂 Rishe willing to take the dilapidated guest villa just so she don’t have to be around people and worry about getting dragged into stuff was hilarious. Cleaning>social interaction. She’s really determined to live a chill life.

Loved the final conversation with she and Arnold on the balcony. His comment about her not needing to know all these skills took her back to her first life where her only value and purpose was marrying into the royal family and having a baby. No more. Now she’s her own person, living for her own interests which she’s discovered after living all these lives. By living 6 already, she’s finally got a chance to live a full one now. On her terms

Love love love a strong capable female MC, my fave genre. She and Arnold are a power couple both fully capable on their own, but even better together.

A bit better than the first episode.
I don't like how absurd is the behavior of the characters. What kind of nobility is that supposed to be?
That being said I've still enjoyed a moment here and there.

two things first why did the king react this time to his son lie or was it Arnold interest in her that moved him to act

second just a theory I think Arnold killed his father and started a world war because first his father believe like rishe mother his personal feelings meant nothing only his duty as heir that included the loss of handpicked retainers especially ones of commoner background so he killed him took control was either attack openly or covert meaning by surround kingdoms hoping to take advantage of the unrest in Arnold kingdom so he decided to change the world through the sword as he seem a peerless fighter

Kinda feminist ngl. (In a good way obviously)

Girlie's been trained only to be homemaker and to birth an heir.

But look at how being educated in various fields really expanded her opportunities. This is why the early feminists pushed for women in the workplace, babey.

Even if she's currently dependent on a man at the moment, she's not stuck without an education to do other things. Hell, Arnold APPRECIATES her talents outside being a nobleman's wife.

It hasn’t been long and Rishe has already had to make use of her skills she gained over each of her lives, the most interesting one being when she made a cure for the poison after Arnold’s guards took a beating, it was pretty cool how she went as far as cutting herself with the poisoned blade just to prove her cure worked and she wasn’t bullshitting lol. And I gotta say, I’m a bit surprised by Rishe’s reaction to being in Arnold’s home country, I get it’s the one she never got to visit but it would be kinda like visiting Nazi Germany right before World War 2 lol, but I do like her perspective a lot.

And I loved that last scene between Rishe and Arnold, I don’t think the lad is lying when he says that he loves her tho like Rishe seems to think lol. And despite the fact Rishe wants to laze around the castle, she’s already had her hands full with the cleaning and helping out a maid that was being pushed around, I’m starting to think she may not get that slow life like she wants lol. And wow that was a very nice OP and ED, Shunichi Toki is one I haven’t heard from in quite a while (last one was Taisho Otome for me) and dancing visuals are something I wasn’t expecting for a show like this but they were very cute, as well as those ED visuals which made them look like kids but the art was very nice for sure.

I took her wanting to laze about to mean she didn’t want to host parties and other stuff that noble women always get stuck doing. It’s not like she would be forced to do servants duties. Also she accepted his proposal but he did say that if she didn’t accept he would have taken another option which I assume he meant kidnapping with the talk of her being a hostage.

@Chendroshee that makes sense if the prince of a heavily militarized kingdom is interested in a duke's daughter your son was just broke up would work out in a number of ways

So I gotta be honest here.. I REALLY have high hopes for this one. The fmc is everything you want in a protagonist and then some. That said, I haven’t read the manga on this one so I’m seeing everything for the first time. I REALLY REALLY want her to tell him she’s been reincarnated and that HE killed her at some point. I know that’s highly doubtful as the mc’s in these type stories very rarely if EVER reveal anything like that but for me this could be really great as I’m a sucker for a good romance. Fingers crossed! 🤞🏼 😂

This might be the strongest start to an otome anime I've seen, very good first two episodes and I feel like Rishe is one of the big reasons why. Really love the messages of living life to the fullest and her deciding her own worth and value. Another great episode, the backstory is really interesting with this anime and I can't wait to find out more about what caused the war. The prince seem to have real depth behind his character and Rishe is really smart, strong and cute too which does not hurt :)

Regarding the "laze around the castle" quote, I took it as meaning that she does not want to have "official" work/duties to perform all the time. Rather, she wants to be able to do what interests her such as being a maid, making medicine, etc. not laze as in being lazy.

@Inexplicable 1. by not doing any work she probably means all the political bullshit and other things she might be forces to do. As soon as she arrives at the castle, she says "my inner maid woke up and I wanted to clean this mess", which is kind of like a hobby for her at this point (profession turned into a hobby).

2. She was "pressured" into marriage because he wouldn't give up on her. He said so himself at the beginning of the episode: "I will have to use other means" if you don't agree. So instead of learning what "other means" mean, she just made a proposal - she agrees to come along while he gives her all the freedom she needs. Idk why he accepted it, but he did. Technically this is still a pressured marriage, since she initially refused. But it's really more like a compromise contract between two of them.

I think I'm obsessed with this show so far. The artwork and quality is wonderful, both the male and female characters look great. There are a lot of small details that really sell it, like the animation in the "fight" scenes and of the flowers in her hands.

Rishe is a well-traveled person with a lot of knowledge, and as we saw with her cleaning up the dusty villa, I don't think we will see her lazing around much. We the viewers crave adventure and so does she!

The OP seems to have revealed the other loop that was missing from the 1st episode, looks like a thief or something. It makes sense she would want to try something rough and tumble, and with adrenaline, after "making it" in the first few loops. I bet knowledge from that life will come in handy at some point.

IKUMI IS QUEEN
It's good that Slop leveling won the CR awards with such a power gap, Gaijin Weebs don't deserve good anime.
Not after what they did to frieren, kusuriya, and many others
