| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Holy shit that was interesting, I know Tadano got some self-confidence issues but I never thought he is THAT insecure to just accept Manbagi like that. So he did expect Manbagi to confess to her since the Inn arc, and from the way Manbagi dropping that question at the end really signals how she sees Tadano might have doubt about this. Because I'm sure as hell Manbagi already revoked herself during the church arc as Tadano's candidate when she decided to choose Komi over him, guess I'm wrong. Let me remind you guys that Tadano just need one of the girls to give him the greenlight to move forward the relationship and holy shit like he really did give his answer even though I'm unsure it's even his real answer where he prefers Komi because of that Komi flashback. And about Komi, he literally prepared to confess to Komi on the bravery test arc but instead got pranked by Najimi and Komi herself still felt unsure about how she still feel guilty liking Tadano like she said on the plane chapter when they went back to Japan. Is it possible that next chapter Tadano will mention how he is unsure about Komi's feelings just because he never received Komi's reply for the candy he gave during the white day a year ago? Fuck dude, I'm so pumped! Next week can't come soon enough! |

| This was a really exciting chapter (especially when compared to the last 100 chapters of nothing) but I can't help but feel it is all gonna be taken back (see last 100 chapters of nothing). Next chapter is called "An Idiot" so I assume one of them fucks it up, if it is Manabagi and we backtrack I'll be super annoyed but if it is Tadano's realization, confidence, and confession to Komi that would be really interesting. |

The buildup for this chapter has been done for quite some time now, back in Ch 195 Tadano did admit that he likes Komi and only intend to at least listen to what Manbagi had to say. Yet, compared to Manbagi actively pursuing Tadano, Komi still hasn't worked her insecurity yet about the motive for her dating Tadano which is finally resolved in that plane chapter after America arc. Looking at how Tadano behaved this chapter, he is still insecure about Komi since he never get that reply for the candy back in White day nor any obvious hints that might hinted if Komi likes him back, and of course that quick-flash where he was reminded of Komi just seals the deal. |

| If Rumiko says anything along the lines of "What about Komi?" Any character development for all three is thrown out of the window. Rumiko...you made your bed and you have to sleep in it. You confessed because you like Tadano even though you didn't expect to have your feelings reciprocated. You can't feel bad because your friend like's the same guy. You took the bull by the horns and went first. If she says anything about Komi what's the fucking point of confessing then? You got what you came for! Now move on and be Happy. Same thing with Tadano his goal is not to Date Komi. It's to help her make friends which he has been doing. Again if he liked Komi enough to Date her he should have fucking said something. He likes being with Rumiko and is not against Dating her. And then Komi. Even if she did decide to Confess I think it actually would have ruined her development because "Oh all of a Sudden she can easily talk to Tadano" Wrong she still has Issues even talking to him in Person on occasion. The only way I feel like this can be redeemed is if Tadado confesses to Rumiko about his feelings for Komi. Because there is now no more coming back from "Are you sure?" Tadano had that Image of Komi in his head as soon as Rumiko stood up. So the feeling is there, it just needs to be brought to light. The only reason why I do not see Rumiko and Tadano sailing is due to them being in Year Two and not Three. If this was year three and Komi had made close to 100 friends...Yes this could be end game. I just don't see it. Rumiko will most likely be in another class for Year three and they'll introduce more Friends for Komi. Which will lead to a potential confession Year Three Valentines day. Then the manga ends on chapter 400+ I will say I was Surprised he accepted. |

Even now she is still considering about Tadano's feeling first proved that she doesn't want to end up in one-sided relationship and how much she valued Komi as her best friend ever since they met in the 2nd Year. I disagree once again, Komi made it clear in the plane home from the trip (Ch 295) that she still has doubts about her motive dating Tadano, something that is swiftly addressed by Manbagi that it is okay to be greedy in a relationship and also provide a solid reason why Tadano and Komi's relationship can't move closer than close friends all these time. Tadano is still waiting for her clear greenlights while Komi still has doubts about herself. If anything, if Komi's confession really happened in this arc it will only provide evidence of Komi's development in her resolution and motive in dating Tadano. Something that is unachievable if love triangle doesn't exists because Komi really has the raised stake where she can lose something here. |

But you can't deny how the last 100 chaps really shaped the dynamic between the three especially between Komi and Manbagi on how naively distorted their relationship they have that leads to the church confrontation. All these things probably will only make the conclusion, whatever that is, more impactful towards both parties. |
