| Since you're fairly new to anime, I would suggest to just watch it, I think you'll enjoy it. Once you've watched a ton more anime, you'll notice a lot more of its flaws and you won't be able to enjoy it that much then. Personally it was the show that got me into anime, so despite what people say, it hooked me onto anime back then and I still think positively of it. People shat on it so much it basically became a meme. It's pretty much considered as a starter anime. |

| Besides its flaws the main problem is, that it has a OTP, but also still has a Harem, that goes nowwhere, just to satisfy all the audience's potential fetishes (loli, "sister"/cousin and so on) |
| Always judge a series by watching it yourself. Everyone has their own preferance and genre, what member say good doesn't mean you will like it & vice versa. |

| The first season was great, but I don't know about the second season. I think that it gets a 7-10 full time, so it's definitely worth watching if you like adventure, swordsfight, and fantasy. I'm excited for season 3 already! :) |

| Go for it, the music and the visuals are badass.... Just don't expect too much. SAO truly is the most anticipated game since 2012, I bet that a lot of people want to play it on 2020 |

That is a useles argument to make when criticizing Sao. It´s infinitely entertaining for a gamer or a video game designed to dissect all of Sao´s flaws and come to the conclusion that the author doesn´t have the slightest idea of video game design. But that isn´t the point. If you´re unfamiliar with the design of videogames from an at least slightly critical pov you wouldn´t notice any of that. "The World" from .Hack has atrocious game desgin as well in every iteration of the franchise, but it doesn´t effect the bad quality of the writing it has (that´s opinion). I was playing MMORPG´s when I encountered .Hack and even as a casual player at the time (my Pc rights were limited to 1 hour of playing a day) I knew that "The World" was an awful game. I know. It was just they said they watched the first 5 minutes of the video and that was only at the point where they criticized the game mechanics. There is a lot more to it in that video but that was just where they got to. I also haven't seen .Hack yet |
