Diana looks great this episode :o

Then again, we have Akko and her friends ready to attend a party. I got a slight Cinderella feel from the episode. Akko looked great in her dress though! (her magic isn't so great but I guess this was one of the few times that it comes in handy).

Nice to see Andre again too.

Love is in the air LOL. Sucy's trolling never ceases to amuse me with her mischievous prank. Good thing Akko managed to get rid of that bee in the end.

Honestly that moment when Diana confessed to Ako was so funny.
That hornet certainly caused a lot of trouble at the part with everyone falling for each other like that.
Still the girls created a lot of trouble ones again.

One thing i found surprising tho was Andrew read 1984 i didn't expect the see that book appear in Anime, and also considering how his father is.
Guess we will see more of Andrew.

This episode was great. Trigger must've had fun making this episode.

Lotte and Frank, I'm all aboard that ship. Andre falling head over heels for Akko was great. I wonder how it would've went if it was the other way around. Hopefully we see more of Andre and Akko when they're true to their feelings for each other (wink wink)

Those shoujo eyes though...

I absolutely loved this episode, might actually be my favorite so far. I just was laughing alot and the episode moved at such a fast pace that it was pretty much fun all the way through. Akko and andrew's interactions are easily what sold the episode though, I pretty much expected 0 romantic subplots starting this series but hey even if its a minor subplot so far they have succeeded in giving genuine chemistry in their interactions in just 2 episodes. Hell it actually looks like even lotte might be getting a potential minor love interest though it could also just be a 1 off thing the show forgets about.

I really find this show optimistic tone and energy to be just captivating when I watch it, ive consistently felt good after finishing episodes. I think a large part of it is I do find akko quite charming as a lead character and I want to root for her success cause of how flawed she is compared to everyone around her. Thats kind of why im surprised how shes actually received a decent chunk of flack.

The girls look nice in their dresses, especially Diana. Diana confessing to Ako was so funny. The eyes were very shoujo. The fallin lovelove bee caused everyone in the party to fall in love. Sucy sure does likes to troll Akko.

I'm amazed how good the eps with Andrew really are, both ep 5 and ep 10 probably my favorites so far, just love all the interactions between them and don't mind the subplot romances at all.

also, as fun as it is seeing Diana fall in love with the reflection of herself, im hoping we see some real character development from her soon, she has potential to be my favorite charater if shes expanded on more

Red bunny Akko should be good though. Too bad she has to play "noble" at least with the suit for now. And she got another chance to talk with Andrew privately.

Diana and Andrew act like snobby Housewives with their backhanded comments.

Surprised they didn't get in trouble since Akko smacked a prime minister, they dished out a terrorist threat to crash a party, damaged property, and they released a mind altering substance on a bunch of high officials.

Man the size difference between boys and girls is pretty large. I always think Andrew and his friends are 20 something but then remind myself that they are students and Andrew and Diana are childhood friends, so they are actually close in age.

It was a fun episode, but I've always hated that cheesy device that "makes people fall in love with someone else". It's always been a cheap tease at ships. But man, that bee was oddly sexy.

Trigger clearly tread lightly here as they decided not to touch Sucy, because she's best girl and can't fall in love with anyone.

Good for Lotte though, I felt really bad when they left her at the drop of a hat. I'm not really fond of her character, but no one deserves that.

Really liking the chemistry between Akko and Andrew and how their relationship is developing. Loved the fountain scene with Akko dancing on the fountain. Gotta admit though, it'd be great if that Diana ship were real ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

This episode was a shippers wet dream.

I have a new-found like for Andrew. I'm already a fan of those cold perfect person characters but Andrew feels a bit more human than most others. Also, love how he was reading 1984 at the end, like he got so exited he needed something to make himself depressed again

The only negative I found were Dianna's cronies. I can't remember their names so I'll call them Crabbette and Goyletta. They're just annoying.

Not bad reinterpretation of Cinderella, very funny and a good deal of progress not only for the figure of Akko. Personal growth of her, is intertwined with the main story or the one that is supposed to be. I'm happy for Lotte, how I wish there was more space for her. Akko is getting really good with magic, who knows when we will see a further step forward for her. Drawings and animations, do not disappoint this time either.

Wow, that was an adorably fun episode, a really creative and clever way to get the plot moving for sure~

Good to see that Andrew has good sense, and the susceptibility to having his individuality improved by Akko's boundless optimism (though she could use a little more empathy and appreciation for the feelings of others).

>Notice the exponential increase in yuri depictions in various anime lately, this is good, it's becoming less obscure and treated more equally.

Obviously that was intentional. This whole episode was going on Cinderella themes, not just because of their outfits.

I know I say it every week, this it is time, this is the best episode of the series. You know Akko gets a bad rap, that she is always getting her friends in trouble, well really it is Sucy that gets everyone in trouble just as much if not more.

I know when they mention the love bee, shenanigans were going to ensue. I am disappointed no one fell in love with Sucy, you knew she would milk that and make that poor slub just do whatever. Hannah and Barbara and fall in love with each other I thought that would be funny, plus them getting stun by a bee magic or not would be great. Though when they first appeared in the first scene I thought of something from the latest episode of Yu Gi Oh abridged "oh no a minor anthologist, they are going to minorly antagonist us", and all as much as Sucy is to blame, if they didn't antagonist Akko none of this would have happened.

How could I forget Diana looked gorgeous, I wish Akko would have acknowledge how stunning she looked, Lotte did that at least, weather she gets on your nerves or not, you have to admit she is stunning.

I am glad that Akko lumps Diana and Andrew in the same boat, she thinks they have bad personality, I would be annoyed if Akko's attitude Diana is terrible, but Andrew is a decent guy.

I can't believe I got what I wanted, the Akko x Diana moment, they didn't hold back, we had people of the same gender fall for each other, than again this is Japan, they are open with this stuff.

I was laughing when Hannah and Barbara fainted twice, maybe they got concussion, in my head canon they got concussions. And Lotte got a harem for a couple of hours.

Of course in the end, Frank still likes Lotte, the guy had a fettish for witches to begin with. If that become a thing, I am cool with that. As similar that Andrew and Diana, the difference is the likability of those that hang around with them, Frank is the anti Hannah and Barbara.

Diana falling in love with herself that funny as well, though two episodes we have had Akko and Andrew put aside their difference team up to save the day, when is Akko and Diana going to have that type of episode. I want that, if Akko and Diana relationship doesn't develop, and Akko doesn't realize Diana is not as bad as she think she is, I am going to be so angry. But we still got plenty of time for that.

And the Earl for a few seconds was a pedophile, though he is not that, he is still our main villain it seems. He is the enemy to all witches, unless you are rich like the Cavendish family, I guess to him you are rich first before you vile witches, and even than who knows what he is thinking deep down in his soul. Still think based on what I see of the Earl's thinking, Andrew and Diana arrange engagement could happen. If that happen, Diana would be forbidden from ever doing magic ever again.

Anyway this was a great episode, this is the episode if I want to get someone hooked on this series, to check this episode out.

This episode was blatantly Trigger's love letter to Cinderella, and what a funny and enjoyable one too! =D

The Lovelove Bee was mostly responsible for why this episode was fun, as it targeted Andrew, Diana and other people to form all sorts of shipping couples left, right and centre. Lotte was fortunate to have Andrew's four friend all surrounding her and praising her, much to her slight dismay.

Not only that, but the shoujo-like eyes the girls have when those who were struck by the bee looked at the first person they see was a really nice touch.

Akko was the star of this episode though. She was spot on to tell Andrew that he was his father's puppet, with the anti-witch views and that he was forced to abandon playing the piano for ten years, so seeing Andrew defy his father to help Akko to strike down the bee was a defining moment for those two. That and seeing Hannah and Barbara faint twice was also really amusing! =P

Who knows if there'll be any romantic progress between Andrew and Akko after this episode, but I'm all for it if there is any. Same goes for his friend Frank, who caught Lotte's sad smile after the other three guys left rather harshly. Although she rejected him at first, I hope that those two hang out as friends in future episodes.

This is my second favourite episode now, just behind the Sucy focused one we had a little while ago. =)

This episode was chaotic and funny. I can't help but feel though that Trigger is teasing us with the possibility of Akko x Andrew. I wanted to see it even before this episode and i feel like this won't be a focus anymore.

Frank x Lotte though seems to be set in stone after this, i didn't expect that. They will for sure stay in contact after this.

Well you can take comfort that they might have suffered concussions. But yeah I reminded of quotes from the latest Yu Gi Oh abridged when I think of them "hey look it's a minor antagonist. I bet they are going to antagonize us."

Anyway I wish Diana wasn't so shy and embarrassed when she was in love with Akko, so Akko could be the center of a love triangle.

All kidding and shipping aside, Akko and Diana better become close friends by the end of the series, Studio Trigger that better happen.

I think more likely the Andrew and Diana betrothed plot line is very possible right now if not likely. If Andrew gain a soft spot for witches, and the Earl thinks he is falling for a witch. The Earl responses would be "fine you want to get together with a witch, but it is going to be of one of my choosing", he will call Diana's parents, and there you have it. And the Earl being the douse that he is, he would probably make Diana give up magic forever like he is Daren Stevens. In his mind, if she is going to marry into his family, she is not going to be an embarrassment with her witch craft. Which would be a crying shame because Diana is so awesome at it.

As terrible as it sound, I want it to happen, I hope it happens, just to create a situation when Akko has to rescue Diana from this terrible situation which inadvertently is she started. And would develop their relationship and make them closer, which is what I want, the main thing when the series was announced, Akko and Diana bond.

That wouldn't happen. Cavendish family is legendary WITCH family. They wouldn't let Diana give up on magic like That. They are also very rich, so They don't need money from Earl. I don't see a posible reason for Diana to give up magic

To save Luna Nova, save magic, the Earl is wanting to rid of the world of magic, he is plotting something it seems. Also never understand the wealthy's greed, they is also room for more money and especially more power and prestige, it is never enough. And also who knows how many children the Cavendish has, maybe they can spare one, and besides I see it more of the Earl talking to Diana alone and telling her this extra condition.

Also goes into my other theory that Diana has older sisters that even better than her at magic. I hope we see the Cavndish family in this series, I want to meet them as much as I do any of the characters families.

What a great episode! Akko was really cute in this episode, I really admire her attitude to life and not willing to conform to pressure or expectations. I'm pretty sure Andrew will come to admire that aspect of her as well, considering he feels trapped in his life because of the high expectations and pressure put on him by his father.

Was really happy to see that Lotte found someone as well, and stayed classy by just starting out as friends rather than falling head over heels for someone she barely even knew.

Akko is by far my favorite character, but I find Andrew to be interesting as well. It'll be satisfying to see his inevitable change thanks to her.
