| I Want a second season. But everything about this says one and done. The BD sales aren't impressive and Silver Link isn't a studio that can afford to linger on show that aren't turning a big profit. |

| I wish it would....compared to a lot of other battle tournament series we have had these past few years...this has been the best there has been....but it depends on the sales. even if it does not...this season alone already feels more complete than most other LN adaptations cause one the main couple already got together and two they freakin proposed at the end...a lot of series with the same plot would take all of the story just for the main couples to end up together let alone a proposal....so yeah it deserves it..but even if it does not il buy it....it is more complete than most. i just hope the LN gets a western released if a second season does not come at least. Edit: These last couple of years we have had series which averaged only around slightly above 2k and still had a second season announced examples: Legend of Arslan, Kamissama Kiss, Food Wars...so even if sells just above 2k there is still a chance as other factors would also play but the more it sells the higher the chances. |

| Since it's adapted by Silver Link it will take time for at least 2 to 3 years. Unless it was popular enough then it will get S2 after a year. Or another studio takes it up. But before this gonna happen, I need Season 2 of Strike the Blood before this! |

Vol 9 sold ~9k it's first week. I'll be very pleased if the series gets further adaptation, but only if Silver Link manages it like they did with the uncrowned sword king arc and even better of course. (I soo wanted to see Raikou fully animated but It'll do with what we got) There's still a ton more for a sequel not to mention Ikki's seven secret sword techniques and ittou rasetsu, lots of IkkixStella, akatsuki and Ouma for example I'll stop now, but you get the point. You're better off reading the light novel.. If you want more Rakudai, actually.. Idk how to express it but if at some point it gets a sequel it HAS to be proper pacing, accurate adaptation (I'm not saying this season wasn't but screw the anime original sure it's no big deal, but it does matter) and overall better, which in the end probably won't happen. /salt And yet, I loved it |
