Do you guys think another will get a season 2 and possibly 3? Season 1 was based off the light novel of the same name but since then the author has wrote a spin off ln called another: episode s also he said that he plans to write a direct sequel called another 2. So my question is, is there a reason for pa not make a season 2 and 3? And what do y'all think the likelihood of us getting another season would be?

i have no idea how new seasons of another could work
most of the mistery is already revealed so it would be boring as fuck to see the characters trying to solve it

I don't exactly know what the sequel would be , besides the exact same thing with different characters and different deaths? The best I could see as support from it's predecessor is the old characters may try to help the new ones?

What about a prequel??? huh you guys are all saying it ended well and you couldnt go further but you could do quite a bit with a prequel. how the phenomenon really stated cause of some super deep secret that cursed the school with some elaborate back story. that could totally work. and then because we get the prequel started the actual sequel could be the end resolve of how to end the entire curse so the schools future generations dont have to keep going through it. perfect. i should help write the story. :)

I think a prequel story could be told in a movie. I mean, what story would they tell for 10+ eps without making it feel unnecessarily long? Same thing with a sequel, there really isn't a mystery anymore so what could they show us that we don't already know or already seen in the original series.

If they do make it a series I'd still watch it tho

Sorry but this is a late post but what if they made into were the murders happen to mei and saki's family so they go on a mini adventure like the ending of this one and put an end to the curse for good? Like even put the original misaki curse to an end to stop it forever? That would be cool.

if they do make a sequel the dead person could be evolved so that Mei wont be able to see them and then there could be an ancient weapon that detects the person and they have to find it but the dead persons ansestors tryed stopping the people finding it, but then when the do find it the dead person steals it and they have to get it back and by then half the class is dead and in the end Mei and kouichi kill the dead dude and leave the finding machine with the school and leave to live together and have kids

story is not gud but the last part that that they live together is gud i too want that to happen

I doubt it. Another had a perfectly good conclusion, I don't think it needs anything more, as much as I loved the show.

Ending the curse of class 3 is just boring, but what if...the calamities are not gonna be caused by the dead person but what if the curse is no longer with the dead person in class 3 what if that unanswered question of "Mei, is it over now" (correct me if im wrong), is a clue of another season, so what if the curse is with Kouichi and Mei now?, that if they're near from another something is gonna happend bad to those people that they love, like Kouichi's grandparents or dad or Mei's Family, what about giving it a plot twist what if Mei also has Leukemia like her sister and ends up dying, what if after Mei and Kouichi stopped that calamity of 1998 that the two of them became lovers on Highschool, since Kouichi is going back to tokyo for highschool but Kouichi wanted Mei to be with him so he decided to convince Mei's mom Kazaki (correct me if im wrong) for Mei to go to the same school, isn't that a bit more thrilling? theres still alot more twist that can be added to this example how Another S2 can be like how Mei and Kouchi couldn't stop the curse and instead haunted their family, so let it be like they found a way to stop but it actually didn't then they had kids, but the curse was passed on to them, when the child or childrens of Mei and Kouichi were 5 years old they saw their parents died and they had to be separated since they couldnt be placed on the same foster and as the years go by they met again, unlike Mei and her sister knowing the truth, what about those two kids left by Mei and Kouchi did not know that they are siblings, and as the curse keeps happening since like how Mei and Kouchi died because of the curse because they were near from each other, the two children would go find for solutions of how to end this curse once and for all, it may not be about sending the dead back to dead it might be about asking the dead how to stop it!!! oh dammn while i was writing this whole Another Season 2-4 i was having fun xD idk why, ita just why did the first season set on 1998, xD theres alot of possible ending have fun of making your own Season 2 of Another share it i really like seeing people having their own Anime Stories

I really did like watching this anime, but I believe another series would ruin it for everyone since there are only two possible ways they could do it that I can think of.

1)They use the same context but with other characters since everybody in the original series has left class 3, But i wouldn't want it to be like that since I have grown to love some of the characters in the original series and having them replaced with new characters just wouldn't feel the same and would just get worn out after a while.

2)It happens to the same characters when they are older
But seriously what are the chances of that happening...

A second season won't make since for this show due to the murder vein solved and there won't be a surprise since most of the students now know what to do so yeah there won't be a second season

I still do not know what the student meant when he said that SHE is still alive, and why does HER well being manifests in the students. I believe the characters only know how to stop the case midway through. It would be nice if the characters will investigate the case further.

What you can do is to show how in the next year or any year following 1998 the mystery of the curse gets revealed and the curse itself lifted.
Second thing you can do is showing the past. With what has been mentioned in the whole first season, you have literally 26 years of mystery to show.
1972 how Misaki-kun died and how the students acted,
the following years later showing how the teachers and students found out about the calamity,
another few years later showing how the teachers and students found out about the method to make a student nonexistent,
1983 showing how Ritsuko died and the whole school trip to the lodge and shrine and Matsunaga finding out about stopping the calamity midthrough,
backstory of Mei and Misaki together,
showing a flashback of Reiko being murdered and maybe explaining the events before that made that happen
etc etc etc.
The author only has to come up with this stuff.
